If I could give this zero stars I would. I picked a pedicure and didn't receive the full service when asked why I didn't she informed me I wasn't paying attention. I don't know how you don't pay attention to a hot stone massage. I was then pretty much called a liar. I told her I wasn't paying for the more expensive pedicure when I didn't receive everything. She offered a $5 discount and I told her the disrespect that I received once I asked about it was mind blowing. And that I still would not be paying what she thought was fair. Along with over charging for my gel nails when the menu states $60 she tried to charge me $63. This place is very greedy and I will never recommend. If I could give 0 stars, I would. I went in today expecting it to be busy because of the holiday, so I was prepared to wait. I was seated for a pedicure and waited 15-20 minutes without anyone coming to help me. Then another customer came in, was seated right next to me, and was helped within 2 minutes. At that point, I had already been waiting over 20 minutes, so I was very confused and disappointed that I was completely overlooked. To make matters worse, I had my nails done by Jacqueline just a week ago. I paid $90 for builder gel, which is supposed to last around a month or longer. Instead, after only one week, the builder gel completely lifted off and broke 2 of my natural nails that I had spent a long time growing out. It was incredibly disappointing to spend that much money on a service that didn't last. Between being ignored during my appointment and the poor quality of my previous nail service, I can't recommend this salon. I won't be returning. read more

I have been going to Kaufman Nail Bar since they opened I believe in 2022. I only set appointments with Julie and if she is not available then I will see Lei if she is available. The staff are really nice, but unfortunately, their work is not. The first time I came here, I needed my nails done quick before a trip. A young man sat me right down and started my dip. I loved them. So I made a note to come back for a full mani and pedi service. Mistake. My gel pedicure was done by an older guy and he kept doing layers. I dozed off and woke up to thick gel toenails. His massaging was also the weakest I've ever had in life. A waste of $68. A lady then comes to start my dip. So nice. Went in to get my nails done (dip) the guy was very rough with the file machine, constantly kept knicking my skin, didn't trim my nails to make them all the same length so some are long and some are short, and in 3 days my hair is already catching under the nail at the cuticle line. Giving two stars due to the fact they were quick, however I'm pretty sure that's why the quality of my nails is so horrible. Horrible Service! The manager Hanna is awful. I was overcharged the 1st service and did not get everything I paid for. Hunter said he would take care of me went back and the took off $15 and that was the amount I was overcharged I said are you gonna take off more and he said no. Then I keep calling back and HANNAH is a freaking bully and argued with me. Will never go back and hope none of my friends do either and I will let them all know!! I just want what I paid for. Well, okay, $240 and over 2 hours for myself and my daughter. They are nice but unorganized and have multiple people doing different things and are overall confusing. My nails were not cut before the tips were put on so you can see them because I did clear gel. When you request clear I thought it would be assumed to cut off remaining nail so it doesn't show through or add more of my glitter to disguise. I was there Friday 8/19 from 4:34p until passed 6:30p ... this weekend I literally did nothing but sleep and EVERY. SINGLE. NAIL. is already lifted. I am a professor and my nails are seen by everyone. I am beyond embarrassed at how janky I look. Fashion nails is a much better place but you need to make an appointment. Today I will go by there about 5:15p and I either want my $66 back or every single nail fixed. They are a new business so I want to give grace but in my whole life I've never had nastier looking nails in less than 3 days!!! read more

I came in last Friday and got dip nails with glued on extensions. I asked for almond shaped and long. This nail tech made my nails thick, up closer to my cuticle, and super thin from the middle down to the free edge. I didn't notice how bad they were until this weekend. They are also super fat from side to side. I don't have big nail beds as these make them to seem. They are almost bubbled on the sides. So I came in today to have her fix them. I told her that they needed an apex, so they wouldn't break easily, that they were so thin. She told me that you can't do that with dip nails, only acrylic. I told her yes, you can build up an apex with dip...I do it all the time. (In hindsight, she fully dipped my nail each time, instead of starting at the middle of my nail and working her way up to my cuticle with each dip). She told me to pick a color...which I had no idea what color I had to begin with...she kept telling me "pick color", i told her I didn't know which one...so I just picked what I thought was the closest one with no help from her. So she starts in, taking the first layer off, then starts dipping again...FROM THE CUTICLE-FULL DIP. Not adding anything to make an apex. I explained to her more than once that's not how to make an apex and she told me no, that's not how dip powder works. I've been doing my own dip powder nails for years and know how to gradually add an apex. She continued in saying how she does a 99% good job and her nails always look 99%. Kept talking and talking about how she wasnt wrong. I stopped her and said I didn't want to continue to argue with her, just finish please. She filed my right hand...all while using the hand file and ripping my skin above my cuticle. They look slightly better on that hand. But not uniform...she never once looked on the sides or down the barrel. I looked down to see that the color was off. You could see the original color where she had filed the new color. By then I was shaking I was so irritated. I knew there was zero point in continuing. Before she could get to my left hand, I told her to stop. Even after redipping, they were still thin where they shouldn't be. I would have to soak them off anyhow when I got home bc they looked so different and none of them matched. I will never go back. The lady that did my nails was Kim. The lady at the front desk offered to do them again, but I had had enough and didn't want to be in there anymore. $67 down the drain. Also...be careful when you check out...the lady before me was 'accidentally' charged a chrome fee when she didn't get chrome. And I was 'accidentally' charged a pedicure when I didn't get one. They nickel and dime for everything too. read more

I wanted to like this place, but didn't have the best experience my first visit.... I will say - The staff was nice, though the front desk lady barely took "no" for an answer when I refused to upgrade my gel pedicure to "deluxe." But they offered a drink, wasn't over crowded for a Sunday, atmosphere was nice, and all the chairs were nice. My pedicure was fine until the guy just kept filing and filing my nails...then when I thought the pedicure was over, he kept filing them again! They're down to nubs almost. When I got home, one of my toe nails was bleeding bc he filed them so short...And the day after, they hurt when I walk... My toe nails aren't long at all so I'm not sure why he's just kept filing. The gel color I picked was a light blue but it's almost translucent. I wish I had asked for a couple more coats but I didn't want to get charged extra. So happy my friend and I stumbled upon this salon. We needed a mani and pedi baaaaad and to my surprise it was their grand opening day. All the staff were extremely nice and welcoming and everything was brand spanking new. I feel like I'm pretty particular in what I like but my new set of acrylic nails came out exactly how I wanted them to. It gave me a whole new vibe and I felt like a bossA$$ bish. I went to Kaufman Nail Bar for a manicure and pedicure. The technician who did my pedicure cut the nail down the sides of both big toes to the cuticle. I've had tons of pedicures and never had anyone do that. It hurt and bled. He then sprayed it multiple times with alcohol and it burned terribly. This morning both big toes are painful, swollen, and red. I would not recommend this place. I wouldn't be shocked if I get an infection or start having ingrown toenails. read more

Kate did such a great job. I usually go to get a pedicure and have my cuticles taken care of for my job and since I was in town I decided to give this place a try. It was a great choice. The owner was extremely attentive and a was treated like royalty. Great to just relax. Kate was very detailed oriented. She did such a great job smoothing everything out and the product looked so nice afterwards. I got the full amount of time that they offered and they even gave me some extra time as well since we got busying talking etc! So kind. Would go again next time I'm in town. Highly recommended. I wanted to try this a they were new and I wanted to check it out. The spa was beautiful and very clean. That warranted the one star. No wait, but I was there in the middle of the week. But that's the only positive thing I can say. I was there for a pedicure. It was about the worst pedicure I have had. The technician was an older man. The water was cold, and he never spoke at all. Just grunted and pointed where he wanted my feet. No time to soak my feet at all. Just started clipping my nails. Then he went to work on my cuticles. I should have left after about the 3rd time I said "ow" and he didn't stop or apologize. Feet were not smooth as he spent about 30 seconds on them. Another lady came to do the polish. She ran her fingernail all around the edges, so now I have the edges that are not polished. But hey at least you can see all the bleeding spots to treat! I'm not going back.
