This was my 1st time using Katy's Mobile Pet Spa and I am so happy I found her. Though my Yorkie, Izzy, is cute and sweet, she is also nervous & afraid of everyone and every thing which makes it hard for her to settle down long enough to take a walk, let alone a bath, so grooming is always an adventure. But, Katy knew just how to handle her, with LOVE. From beginning to end, my experience with Katy was wonderful. I was impressed that Katy took the time with me to find out what I wanted. I absolutely loved her service. She is a real animal lover. She was gentle with Izzy and had an obvious connection with her. Katy was so kind & knowledgeable, conscientious & careful. My Izzy came away from her grooming experience with a darling A+++++ Yorkie cut and a smile on her face! She looked and smelled amazing. And Katy was even able to cut her nails which past groomers have been unable to do! It is clear that Katy's compassion and inherent understanding of the needs of animals along with her superior grooming skills and professionalism are a rare find. New to the area, I had no bather lined up for my dog just yet. The worst happened and bird mites infested my apartment. Myself and my dog were so chewed up. My dog was suffering a great deal. Having found source of problem and scheduled to be corrected and treated the following day, I set out to have my dog bathed. Katy immediately responded to my inquiry and with a great deal of compassion and concern scheduled my dog to be bathed while my apartment was being treated the very next morning. She treated my dog with a flea bath, then a tar sulfur bath and finished with a soothing bath. It took a long time and my dog is 80 lbs. Katy not only became our angel she was so compassionate about the horror we underwent that she offered a discounted rate to me. I cannot recommend Katy enough and will use her for my dog's baths going forward and all dogs after. A rare find. I feel very lucky. read more

Katy is AWESOME!! Our 62-pound boxer/pitty, Baby, definitely lives up to her name when it comes to grooming, particularly nail trimming/grinding. Katy is the ONLY groomer who can keep Baby calm and get her nails trimmed properly. In addition, after Baby comes in from her bath she smells super good and her fur is so soft-and I love her pink bandana, too! I'm so happy we found Katy's Mobile Pet Spa! I don't trust many people with our dog, but Katy is at the top of the list. It's very helpful that she is able to travel to us since Baby would get super anxious when I would take her anywhere else for grooming. Also, I think it's important to note that when I was calling multiple mobile grooming companies, NONE except Katy's Mobile Pet Spa was willing to come just for nail trims. Katy has been grooming our dogs since before she started her mobile pet spa. We would follow her anywhere! Our dog is fear-aggressive, and Katy has been wonderful with him. She obviously cares about her clients, and goes beyond what is expected from a groomer--she offers advice for handling our dog, and lets us know of any issues she notices while working with him. She is the only groomer who's been able to trim his nails. He is much calmer since being groomed with her. She really has a way with animals! Katy is a good listener and easy to work with. If she is running late, she lets us know, and works to accommodate our schedules. She takes her time and the extra care really shows. I was referred to Katy by a mutual friend. My Shitzu Oreo was previously driven to a locally known groomer. She started refusing to walk through the door & was nervous. I made an appointment with Katy 6 months ago and have used her ever since. My priority was to find an excellent groomer my dog likes not convenience. Oreo isn't nervous anymore. She likes Katy. Katy takes time to get to know your dog and works with the dog to make them comfortable. Katy is experienced, consistent, and very nice. I have asked her a multitude of questions. I have used Katy's Mobile Pet Spa for going on 3 years. They have always tried to be very accommodating and if anything unforeseen comes up to delay them we are always notified. They are professional, caring and knowledgeable. I have 2 Border Collie mix and when they come in the house after being groomed they look like "Show" dogs. I have no complaints at all unlike where I use to take them. I love the convenience of my girls not having to leave their home and being left with strangers for hours. I stumbled across Katy when my senior shih tzu was casted after an elbow break. His groomer of 13 years declined to groom him while casted. It was the best find of his life. Katy is professional and unflappable. In addition very knowledgeable offering good insights and advice. She groomed him until his death. When I rescued a silky terrier she made time to groom him on our first day together. He was a matted mess. I recommend her to all my friends and family. I was so impressed with the initial interaction between Katy and my 13 year old mixed breed dog. She came into the house to take Cali for her grooming appointment and I could immediately see how respectful Katy was towards my pup, and how much she cared about that first meeting. Katy spent over an hour and a half, and brought me a new pup! She did so many little things I would not have thought to ask for, but resulted in a beautiful transformation for my little girl. Katy has been giving my Monty the royal treatment for a few years now. She goes the extra mile when grooming him. When Katy notices lumps or bumps on Monty she is sure to point them out so we are aware. He is always sexy when he comes from the spa. I have 2 other dogs and when Katy noticed they had skin irritations she gave me some shampoo that helped them. I can tell Katy enjoys her job and loves Monty. Katy has been grooming my senior shih tzus for many years. We adopted an older shih tzu, Mickey, about 7 or 8 years ago and I lucked into finding Katy, as no other groomer could handle him. He was afraid of being groomed and tried to bite the groomers, but Katy was great with him. After we lost Mickey, we adopted another old shih tzu, Banner, who cannot stand to have his face cleaned, but Katy has the skill and patience to clean his face and eyes as well as groom him. I am very particular of who grooms my Daisy. She loves to be pampered and I am very careful to make sure that she doesn't have a bad experience. You can tell that Katy truly loves animals and Daisy was very comfortable with her. Because of her very thick undercoat, it is almost impossible to get all of her loose hair. Katy does a great job!! She is prompt, on time, and gentle with my dog. She has a ton of experience and will bring to my attention any possible issue with my pet after the grooming. For instance she let us know that our dog may be getting an ear infection. We took him to the vet and he did indeed have an infection.
