Before heading over today, I specifically checked their website to confirm the cutoff time for the self-wash on Saturdays. The website said 4:30 PM, which is already a full 90 minutes before their 6 PM closing time. I hightailed it over there with plenty of time, only to be told when I arrived that the last self-wash is actually 4 PM. So, to be clear: you close at 6 PM, your website tells customers 4:30 PM, but when they arrive, you tell them the cutoff is 4 PM. Make it make sense. Unfortunately, this is not my first frustrating experience here. On a previous visit, they refused to clip my dog's nails because they claimed he was "too aggressive." Let me add some context: my little dog is 14 pounds soaking wet and has never had an issue getting his nails clipped anywhere else. Meanwhile, during one of my visits, a dog they were servicing actually jumped on me and nearly knocked me over. So apparently my 14-pound dog is too "aggressive" to have his nails clipped, but a dog in their care can jump on a customer and nearly knock her down? How's that for aggressive behavior? And that was on top of dogs throughout the facility barking their heads off and pulling their owners on their leashes. Yet somehow, my tiny dog was singled out as the problem. At a certain point, repeated experiences like these leave you wondering why a business seems so determined not to serve you. I cannot say what motivates the treatment I've received, but as a Black customer, I would be lying if I said these experiences have not left me questioning whether bias, including racial bias, played a role. What I do know for certain is this: Wagging Lounge will never see me or my money again. There are too many businesses that actually value pet owners, communicate their policies accurately, and make customers feel welcome for me to keep giving this place another chance. I've given them enough chances. I'm done.

Prior to this, we were going to PetSmart and she would come home with anxiety diarrhea every time, right after grooming! Our only issue is that you have to lock in on appointments early or you'll miss out when you need them most. However I can't take a star away because the service is amazing.

The human he had transformed into a dog had remembered the names of his other two archenemies. "I knew it! She was foolish enough to write her name on the facade. Unwise even, I say." He saw how happy the dogs looked, dressed in their Halloween-themed bandanas, and how excited they were to be safely reunited with their owners and to be encouraged to pick out a squeaky Halloween-themed toy, and he paused magnanimously. When booking online, the system prompts you to enter your card information immediately after selecting an appointment. Typically, this step indicates that a deposit will be processed, but that wasn't clearly communicated at the time of booking. When a team member later called to confirm my appointment, I mentioned that I had already entered my card information during the booking process. There was no follow-up from the team to clarify whether the deposit had been received, and since no additional communication was sent, I reasonably assumed everything was confirmed. However, I received a text message at 5:40 p.m. on 10/10/25 -- about 20 minutes before closing -- stating that my appointment scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on 10/11/25 had been canceled. I immediately called and texted but didn't receive a response until the next morning when the business reopened, at which point the appointment was already canceled. Given that appointments here are often booked weeks, if not months, in advance, it's extremely difficult to pivot or make alternate arrangements on such short notice. The lack of follow-up and the last-minute cancellation were disappointing, especially considering the time and planning it takes to secure a spot. I'm sharing this feedback constructively, as I understand things happen, but clearer communication and more proactive customer service would go a long way toward improving the overall experience.

I have a Beagle/Shiba Inu mix who whines incessantly while having his double coat cared for. Katy is very patient and firm with him when needed. Max (the cry baby as he is affectionately referred to) usually gets a bath and a special treatment to remove excessive hair as he sheds like crazy. When she's all done, his coat is gorgeous and more importantly, he sheds significantly less. My second dog is a miniature Poodle/Japanese Chin mix. She usually gets a bath and cut. My little baby always turns out very pretty. She knows it too because she prances! Without hesitation I would recommend Katy for her talent in grooming, but also in her abilities to deal with difficult dogs.

Our concerns were listened to and the response was respectful. The owner not only heard our concerns but they were able to show they can be objective in their assessment of the issue. They went above and beyond to make it right. The solutions offered were both incredibly generous and fair. In terms of the quality of the grooming, they made our fur babies look like pristine angels. They smell fantastic too, and their hair looked amazingly glossy and soft. They appear to do great with grooming both small and large dogs (we have both), and they even did great work on our big boy who has hair that's more difficult to work with. In resolving the issue with one of our pups, they blended things perfectly to make the original issue appear more natural and less jarring. Almost every single time I picked my baby up she was in a crate. I took her there to be loved, to have play time, and to be safe.
