I found Akiko during a tumultuous period in my life when I moved from the East coast to the West coast. I had done reiki before and was in immense need of someone to help moderate the stress and turbulence of emotions I was in my life. I signed up for the six session healing program and it was super impactful. I had to wait a month or so to fit into her schedule so if you want to to do a consistent program (where she sees you every couple of weeks or so) do it!! She gets booked up and is well worth the service. I'm normally a very consistent, easy going person but I was going thru relationship and new life challenges that made me spiral. Akiko's gentle counseling and spiritual guidance helped me heal or at least subside my negative emotions and thoughts tremendously. Although I no longer need to see her for anything in particular, I love having general maintenance and check up sessions with her as she is super knowledgeable about spirituality and always open and transparent. I am by nature a super logical and skeptical person and everything I've learned from Akiko has really opened my eyes to what else lies beyond. You kind of have to go thru your own learning process to get there but Akiko has gifts that are hard to describe. Most importantly, no matter what your beliefs are, Akiko has a gentle way of tuning in with your energy and giving the healing you need. I only started dabbling in energy healing five years ago but energy healing is super cleansing and helps regulate your emotions and stresses. And it has only been a couple hours since my first session. I came back home after this session to my sickly dog. I saw she had a service for pets on her website. I had texted her after my session: "Just thought I should let you know (and no rush or anything) but [my dog] has been shaking all day today in his back legs and lower back region He's had back problems before and the vet said they can only really act on emergencies just so worried for my baby." She responded, saying she will do his session in a bit. I didn't have to do anything. Just a couple minutes had gone by and his energy clearly shifted. It was unbelievable. I mean, he was immobile all day and just sad. Then all of a sudden, he's eating, walking around faster than he had been in a couple days, excited to go out.
