She has helped her make incredible progress with letters, numbers, colors, shapes, and other foundational skills, while always making learning feel engaging and age-appropriate. Emily is warm, patient, dependable, and consistently punctual. What we especially appreciate is her ability to strike the perfect balance between being sweet and nurturing while also providing just enough structure and discipline to keep a young child focused and learning. She understands how to challenge our daughter without overwhelming her, which is such an important skill when working with toddlers. We've been incredibly happy with the progress we've seen and feel very fortunate to have Emily as part of our daughter's early learning experience. We highly recommend her!

Jessica, the Center Director, is very thorough and personable, always working with our family regarding schedule flexibility and communication. The assessments are spot on and as suspected, Carina is a verbal learner so it wasn't that she didn't know the material; she would just get stuck on the homework and not be able to push through on her own. Knowing that she had two concentrated hours/week with a tutor in the study skills program (all who are very qualified) kept her very efficient and organized with her homework load, and has really taken alot of pressure off of her. Time management has greatly improved. She is now at a 3.8 GPA which is a far cry from where she started before coming here! She has also worked with several other elementary and preschool kids that I know on more traditional speech and language therapy, and always does an excellent job. As a fellow SLP and after observing her with my daughter, I often refer others to Chris. With the larger practices, I don't know who will see my student, and what their experience is. Chris is warm, kind, effective, honest, and has worked in both private practice and the school system so she can tell you how the two work together and advise you on whether your child could qualify for district services.
