I left Dr Chang-Lipsenthal multiple messages to ask a follow up question about a prescription she prescribed and she was non responsive.

Sally Ward is simply the BEST! She was my mother's physician at One Medical until she passed away,…read more2 months past 100 years old. So I accompanied my elderly mother to see Sally whenever she needed medical attention. Sally is good! She listens, has vast medical experience, thinks deeply as to what is best for THIS patient, is friendly, medically up to date, and gives her patient the full time they need in her office. I am so appreciative of the care Dr Ward had professionally and personally given to my mother, that I unreservedly give her a 10+ recommendation. On top of all that, I like her as a person, which I think is important too.

I kept saying there were signs of fatigue and weight. She kept saying I was fine. I went to my annual ob/gyn and told her the same thing. She checked my thyroid, found a lump referred me back to Dr. Ward for a follow up and low and behold, Dr. Ward called me on Christmas Eve to tell me I had thyroid cancer. She referred me to a surgeon who was on vacation and busy until after the holidays. After my surgery, one would think Dr. Ward would care enough to at least follow up. No such doctor here. She is probably a really nice person, but needs more medical experience and to be honest, I am not sure what she was thinking if she was at all returning my email with a call on Christmas Eve to tell me I had cancer.

Shannon is a wise and sensitive soul…read more My doctor referred me to Shannon to help me better handle life with a chronic medical condition. From our first session, Shannon approached me with kindness and genuine curiosity. During our time together, she guided me into the inner reaches of my body and mind with patience, openness, and compassion. I had never tried hypnotherapy before my sessions with Shannon. In fact, I went in as a skeptic, but I found Shannon's approach to be powerful and grounded in deep truths. More insights were revealed to me in my couple of months with Shannon than I'd uncovered in the combined years of talk therapy that I've done in the past. Forget what you think you know about hypnotherapy, and take the leap. With Shannon, you're in good hands.

This was my first time doing hypnotherapy so I was a bit nervous to start, but Shannon did a great job explaining to me the process of hypnotherapy and listened intently to what I wanted to work on. After doing a series of sessions with her, I have noticed myself feeling less weighed down by the feelings of sadness and frustration that were so constant for me, and instead moving towards happiness and living the life I want to live. I feel happier day-to-day and more resilient on my hard days. Ultimately, working with Shannon has changed my perspective on life and allowed me to connect with parts of myself I was not even aware of. Shannon is the real deal!

Avoid if you have Lyme disease! This is a long overdue review that needed to be written to make…read moreother potential clients aware prior to setting up an expensive new patient consultation with Dr. Thompson. I came to her extremely sick with both Mold, Bartonella and Babesia back in October of 2023 when she was still employed under Azzolino Clinic in San Francisco. Prior to that new patient Zoom call appointment, she had all my medical records days in advance to go thru which on the day of appointment, she wasn't at all prepared. She literally started sifting thru all my medical records and prior lab work. Since she wasn't together, I refused to sit around and be charged more (Keep in mind she charges more after 15 minute intervals on these calls) for her being unorganized and rescheduled to another date which was 6 days later and once again, she was not prepared, had only reviewed some of my records, prescribed a few overpriced supplements after the call ended along with a prescription for Oxytocin (Goggle what this drug is used for, it's not for a tick-borne disease) all without ANY reasonable assessment or review of my medical records. Once again, she charged me for another appointment and asked if we could get together for "another zoom appointment" the following week in which she said she would be "more prepared and have more time to fully review my medical records" which I refused. I lost a total of $400.00 with this woman and not at all happy about it in fact I felt completely ripped off and taken advantage of being as sick as I was at that time. If you think you might have Lyme and co-infections or already have a positive Igenex or Vibrant panel, save your money and go elsewhere for an experienced Lyme literate physician either in the Bay Area, or find a referral thru ilads.org, or lymedisease.org. For anyone questioning the authenticity of this review, this is a real review from Mr. Cannon and absolutely do not want to see a response below my comments of "I don't know this person or I don't recognize this individuals name" posted. Shame on you for running your patients thru hoops like this especially when they are SO damn sick they can barely get out of bed and function on a day to day basis. Do the Lyme community a favor, get organized, educated on Lyme disease and co-infections and don't waste people's time and money. A refund of $400.00 after what transpired, not once but TWICE, is a reasonable request since you randomly prescribed prescription medication along with supplements without knowing my complete medical history.

The side effects were unbearable for my active lifestyle, and it was not clear that the benefits outweighed the risks given my young age. Dr. Thompson and I searched for the underlying cause of my cholesterol numbers methodically using all the available medical testing to confirm or disprove our hypotheses. After a short time, we found that the cause was likely diet related. She recommended a modest change in my diet that was easy to follow. It just seemed like the way I should eat. _Within_2_months_my_total_cholesterol_dropped_60_points!!!! This is more than could be attained by Lovastatin, Simvastin, or Lipitor. The only side effects were increased energy, weight loss, and overall improvement of mood. We are now working on increasing my HDL. The HDL/LDL ratio is my only cholesterol number that is out of whack. I fully trust that Dr. Thompson will help me find the root cause and prescribe a simple treatment. I am confident that as long as I'm compliant with her recommendations, I will be able to avoid the pharmaceutical treatments for cholesterol while still lowering my risk of complications like heart attack and stroke.

I worked with Dr. Daniel for about 2.5 years as I was getting sick too often with colds and flus…read more Instead of improving my immune system, it got dramatically worse and my overall health and fitness degraded a lot. Dr. Daniel did a lot of pricy and questionable testing and put me on 41 pills a day of either supplements or prescription medicine. I developed a concerning medical condition I'd never had before that made me feel sicker than ever, requiring me to stop eating many foods, and made me so fatigued, all I could do was lie on the couch most days for months. It was miserable. I finally got fed up with her after the second time she raised her prices significantly during the pandemic and fired her. I had spent tens of thousands of dollars on her appointments, testing and supplements. I immediately went off of everything she had prescribed and felt so much better within two weeks. My health has been just fine since I stopped following her advice 18 months ago. She may have a lot of five-star Yelp reviews but read them closely - few mention good medical outcomes from working with Dr. Daniel. That's because she gives her patients a discount on supplements in exchange for Yelp reviews which they write at the beginning of their treatment before they have any outcomes. This practice is unethical and should be illegal. Note to Dr. Daniel: When you attempt to rebut my review, be sure not to violate HIPAA.

Excellent doctor; disappointing practice…read more First of all, Dr. Daniel is extraordinary: extremely well-informed, profound, compassionate, and caring. Working with her had an incredibly positive effect on my health and well-being and I feel so grateful to have had the opportunity to work with her, and get back to optimal health. However, there have been recent changes to the practice that feel de-humanizing. Today, in the midst of a pandemic, I tried to log in to ask a question or make a short appointment, and was told my account was "inactive" as I had not had an appointment in a year. I called to see if I could ask Dr. Daniel, a doctor I really trust, a question or make an appointment, and Jason/Jonathan called me to tell me that I was no longer a patient, and the practice was not accepting new patients. I told him I'd been a patient since 2015, and asked him how I could make an appointment, or ask Dr. Daniel a question, and he said I would need to go online and read about my options, that who knows if I could be seen again, but that I might be a "level 2" or "level 3. " When I asked him what that meant, he said I should go online. As a longtime patient, a mother, and a scientist, I felt hurt and disrespected by this de-humanizing interaction. It seemed that the rug had been swept out from under my feet - I was booted from the practice because I felt well and hadn't had an appointment in a year. These new policies, and the interaction with Jason/Jonathan were the exact opposite of my previous experience with Dr. Daniels (warm, humanizing, caring). He left me with no other option than to seek other care.
