If you're on the fence, just reach out! We have such an amazing experience from scheduling the photoshoot to the day of the shoot itself. Kathleen is so easy to work with. She tells you exactly how to pose, even fixes my hair and the twins shirts. She's really good at getting the kids attention, I have infant twins so I know it would be kind tricky but the photos come out beautifully. The photoshoot is on Saturday and we're viewing the photos by Monday morning. I can't say enough good things about Kathleen. I used to not understand why you would need a photographer with experience with kids but trust me it makes a world of a difference. read more

So grateful to have worked with Kathleen for our smash cake shoot! These turned out perfectly!

Let me begin by saying this review is way over due. I met Kathleen nearly a year ago when I brought in my baby for a newborn photoshoot. I had seen a sponsored ad on Instagram and decided to take the plunge after reviewing her website and Instagram. I sent a direct message inquiring about pricing and availability. Adriana, Kathleen's assistant, reached out in minutes- MINUTES! She was so incredibly kind answering all my questions. I had never booked or went to a professional photographer, so I did not really know how the process worked or proper etiquette. After the back and forth communication with Adriana, I was booked for the following week. Our baby had been suffering from some gnarly baby acne, so she was already 6 weeks at the time of the shoot. My husband and I were nervous as we arrived as we did not know what to expect, but we had been given great instructions on what to do leading up to our appointment. Baby was fed, in pjs, and asleep from the car ride. Baby was cooperating. YAY! We were wandering the business complex when a friendly face greeted us. It was Kathlee; I could immediately feel her positive energy. I made some joke asking how she knew we were her clients with a baby in tow and a giant baby bag. She led us into her studio and quickly went to work changing our sleeping baby into her first outfit. I mentioned to Kathleen that I brought two outfits of my own to do some non-traditional newborn photos. She nodded and agreed we would do those after the swaddle pictures. I watched in amazement as she dressed, posed, and captured beautiful pictures of my sweet child. She'd pause and comfort her if she thought she was waking and kept during this throughout the duration of our time together. When I say this woman is a baby whisperer, I mean it. She blew my mind. The ability to adapt to a baby is just remarkable. We had a ton of outfit changes. I'm sure that was partially due to baby being so compliant. Anywho, once baby woke up Kathleen changed her into the outfits I brought and did the non-traditional newborn photos like I requested. She took a family photo of us even though we weren't prepared and gifted us a ornament with a polaroid of our family picture [[this impromptu photo will always be one of my favorites]]. After the session, I patiently waited for her to send us the catalog of photos. I believe it was sent over within a handful of days. Let me tell you, I had such a difficult time narrowing it down because they were ALL so beautiful. Biased mom talking, but still. I ended up ordering over what I had prepurchased in the package. From that day forward, I began recommending Kathleen to literally everyone. Since that first visit, we have been back to see Kathleen FOUR more times! Yep, I know - that's a lot. But it really isn't! Her pricing is affordable and she runs different mini sessions that are just too cute to pass up. She is incredibly kind and I am so dang grateful for that Instagram ad. We visited Kathleen just last week for our ONE YEAR cake smash photo session. This woman has literally watched my child grow. The way the two of them interact together is such a beautiful sight. Kathleen had decorated the backdrop so cute. She even made a ballon garland. SHE MADE IT! I can't even imagine the time and effort she put into making that just for our photos. Kathleen worked hard doing all the silly things to get a laugh out of our daughter. When I say this woman has a beautiful soul, I truly mean it. I left last week grinning ear to ear. These photo sessions have become so much fun and memories I'll never forget. I could go on forever about how amazing Kathleen is and how you just need to book a session already, but I'll just let some of her work do the talking. read more

We had a wonderful experience with Kathleen. My baby was taking a VERY long time to fall asleep and I was getting worried that we might have to reschedule. Kathleen was very patient and managed to get her to fall asleep after about an hour. She is truly a professional. I am extremely pleased with how well the photos came out; even the ones when my baby had her eyes wide open. I loved that she had an area to nurse your baby, snacks, and toys/books to keep my kids busy while we waited. There were many newborn photographers to choose from, and I am so glad that I chose Kathleen from beginning to end. read more

Kathleen and her team made the process smooth for my son's first birthday, cake smash, and family photoshoot. They were responsive from beginning to end. All I had to do was show up to the studio with my husband and son. I didn't have to lift a finger in the prep, except for letting them know what I wanted. read more

These are just 2 of the many beautiful pictures Kathleen was able to capture of my daughter. I normally don't like to post personal images but I think Kathleen deserves some serious recognition. I am a return client. She did our youngest daughter's baby pictures and family pictures and I liked them so much I asked if she would be willing to make my vision come true for my oldest. I sent her and her team a message on Instagram asking for a quote and they were so quick to respond. In a matter of days we had a contract, and they even allowed me to pick the confetti and balloon colors. Seriously the sweetest ladies! I am so grateful to hace found them. This was a cake smash/glitter/confetti session/birthday photoshoot. My daughter had SO much fun tearing up that cake that she said was delicious and the glitter pictures were so pretty. read more

Kathleen is the photographer for you! Kathleen is spectacular at her craft! I absolutely loved watching her work. My daughter was 12 days old during the photoshoot and just WOW. I am so excited to see the pictures and work that Kathleen did. I was very nervous about this experience. Will my baby cooperate? I had a lot of concerns but Kathleen put us at ease and she handle our baby with such care! We can't wait to book photo sessions in the future! read more

My cousin took her newborn to Kathleen's studio in Irvine and recommended her to us for our baby's Photoshoot. My husband and I are so happy with the turnout! The photos come watermarked and in low resolution and will be edited later once you choose the ones you like. Aside from the beautiful photos, my husband and I were impressed with how Kathleen handled our baby girl during the Photoshoot. Olive would wake up every now and again and Kathleen was so patient and gently put her back to sleep herself. As first time parents, my husband and I joked that it was worth paying for just to learn some new soothing techniques! Thank you Kathleen for a wonderful experience. 10/10 read more

We could not be more pleased with our newborn photo shoot experience with Kathleen. First, she made extra time to fit us into her schedule so we would not miss out on the newborn stage. We had a photo shoot booked with Kathleen for our 7 day old daughter. She made sure to send plenty of options and guidelines so the process was smooth. We fed our baby prior to leaving for the studio as instructed. I was nervous at first because our newborn didn't sleep in the car to the shoot. Kathleen did a great job of getting some shots of her awake and then getting her to sleep for the following poses. It was a nice and clean studio comfortable for us in the waiting area and the photo area. I'd highly recommend her for her services and were very happy so far. read more

Our session with Kathleen was amazing. The studio was comfortable and quiet, and watching Kathleen work was mesmerizing. Our son was super fussy at the start of the session and she still was able to get amazing photos while soothing him so that by the end of the session he was comfortable and fast asleep. Our experience with Kathleen from start to finish has been nothing but great. I found her on Yelp and her assistant Adriana has been very accommodating in answering all my questions. I was also lucky to have an opening on the day I needed. Kathleen was very professional yet friendly during the shoot. She was very good with my baby too. I could see the care she put as she changed my baby's outfits and as she positioned my baby in different poses. I could tell that she is all about the baby's safety. We never once felt we were rushed by her. She was very patient. She was also very good with my four year old. She was able to give him clear and concise instructions. She also took a lot of photos! There are so many to choose from that I'm actually confused. Narrowing it down to 20 will definitely be a difficult task to accomplish. It was a very nice experience all in all. My family and I will surely be back for future sessions. read more

We had such an amazing experience shooting our Christmas family portraits with Kathleen. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a warm welcome. As we waited briefly in the lobby of the studio, Kathleen offered us refreshments such as coffee, soda, or juice. The studio is pretty spacious and inviting. Her amazing work is showcased on the walls as you enter. We waited no more than 5 minutes for her to be ready for us to begin our session. Our session experience was great! Christmas music was playing, setting the tone and theme of our session amongst the Christmas trees and floor of fake snow. Kathleen was very kind and warm. She made sure she kept up the enthusiasm of the moment. She directed our passes but also took the time to ask us if we had any requests. Overall, such a wonderful experience.
