Photo from the first time I saw Brittany at Kate's Kuts and knew I found my new hair home! She accommodated me on short notice after another salon cancelled on me the week of my wedding. Aside from the incredible results, my whole experience with Brittany and in the salon was such a bright spot in my pre-wedding chaos and nerves. I've been getting full highlights for years and hands down Brittany's work gave me the best long-term results and grew out beautifully with no brass. Not to mention my entire appointment was under 3 hours even though the salon was busy which was a miracle compared to what I was used to with full highlights! Jacob Budreau (@theedollfactory) is AMAZING! He's always given me a great cut, but the cut I got yesterday is my favorite by far! I trust his advice when purchasing products as I always get great results after I leave the salon. The salon staff is warm and welcoming, and there is plenty of seating if you're early and need to wait. I went to Jacob as my prior stylist was no longer there. Jacob listened to what I wanted which was long layers and face framing cut. Something I can wear straight or curly. He was so nice and has been there 5 years. So rare to have someone stay in one salon that long. He spent a lot of time blow drying my curly hair and had it smooth and shiny. Five stars. I looked up on Groupon for a haircut around here and I stumbled across Donna's Hair which is also a Paul Mitchell school. It was redirected to Kate's Kuts and they responded promptly to let me know it was located there for the time being. I believe they're back in their previous location but I liked Kate's a lot. It was a welcoming environment with an eccentric look (I loved the comfy green couch). I came in almost an hour early and they got me in pretty quickly. I got a hair cut and dye by this wonderful woman named Delpine. I wanted dark hair on top and red on the bottom with bangs. She cut my hair shorter than I would have preferred but I like it and so does everyone else! She did a great job with the coloring and I would definite see her again! read more

Talk about karma and inspired connections! I needed a quick fix on my nail before a very important event today. I'm visiting from Colorado and staying in Bonita Springs. I went on Yelp to find "nail salons near me" and Kate's Kuts came up. As I read the "about us" info, I got shivers. I grew up in Worcester, MA...and that's where Kate went to hair school. I have an autistic son...and so does Kate. So of course I had to go, LOL! The moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly and told that Megan could take care of me. Kate was doing a color service on a client and was talking about how she gets energized by speaking in front of large groups. She said to the client, "I tried virtual presentations, but I need to have the energy. I need to be able to look at you when I'm speaking." Then Kate looked over to me, sitting in the waiting area and nodding my head because I'm *exactly* the same way, and said, "Like, I need to be able to see you when I'm speaking." So I briefly explained all of the confluences that brought me to her door and shared the story of my awesomely autistic 19 year-old son's achievements. Kate also shared that one of her staff has a goal of visiting Colorado this year, and just this morning Kate had been decorating that staff member's station with all things Colorado. That's no accident, in my view! Megan did a great job on my nail repair, and everyone was so warm and friendly. What a blessing to meet these very special people. Hannah Miller is great at nails. Her acrylics are flawless and she can literally build a nail from stubs. Clean paint lines and her dips look natural. I would definitely use her again. 5/11/20 I was lucky enough to get one of Kate's 1st appointments on reopening day!! Yay!! 1st I felt absolutely safe & extremely comfort in the salon - Kate is certainly following the CDC guidelines AND going above & beyond to ensure all clients safety & space. The main entrance is locked, and only allowing customers appointments access (aka no walk-ins w/o an appointment/delivery services etc ) Ive been going to Kates about a year now. Had moved to the area and needed a new hair salon. Absolutely by far the best cut, color, customer service, hands down extremely knowledgeable but more importantly truly listens to customer to meet and exceed every expectation!!! Kate's Kuts looks PHENOMENAL after their re-brand and salon renovation. I've been seeing Andrea for maybe 2 years now and she is my stylist for life! I have medium/long hair and never thought I could go back to my natural color - well Andrea did it! Her cuts are the best and my hair falls perfectly every time. She makes creative color mixes and has great ideas, I trust her 10000% and she delivers every time. My mom was frustrated with her haircuts (she has very short hair) and that totally changed after seeing Andrea! She called me right after gushing about how perfect it was and now she's a regular! Also Andrea's sink head massages are GREAT. 10/10 Kate's Kuts is a great one stop shop for anything beauty. All the girls there are so welcoming as soon as you step in the door. I'm extremely picky when it comes to who can do my nails and their nail tech Hannah is the only one who can ever get them right. She's extremely creative when it comes to the designs and definitely puts her heart into her nails. She won't let you leave unless you absolutely love them. Hannah is so personable and you can truly see that in her work. You'll always leave with your expectations blown out of the water. If you need your nails done Hannah is your girl! I've gone to Kates Kuts for several years. Most of the time it's ok. Just ok. But one time they cut it too short. Another time the hairdresser was not happy with the color touch up and corrected the color with a second process. My hair since then has been breaking off at that length. I now have a whole tot of hair that is only 2 inches long within my 8' hair. Very thinned out. So sad and wispy looking. Buyer beware on this one. I personally won't be going back. read more

This is one of the best salons around ! I haven't been in a while and returned today. Madi cut my hair and did a great job. I decided to go super short and she made me very comfortable and had some ideas. My hair looks fabulous and I feel great. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming. Prices are reasonable for the professionalism. They are great for every age. I have often felt out of place at salons which seem to cater to a younger clientele. Kate's is for everyone ! read more

If I could put zero stars I would . I am so frustrated and upset that I spent so much on my hair and never once got what I truly wanted or loved and when I reached out to the stylist she didn't feel the need to respond. I am going to now get married with a Mess on my head I am almost in tears. I understood that my hair was very dark and needed to be bleached in stages in order to get what I wanted. I did two bleaching session and even after the second it didn't even come close to what I wanted. I tried to be patient and like what I left with every time even when I knew it's not what I wanted. My hair stylist was kelly and I'm just beyond frustrated and upset that I truly felt confident in her work and loved her personality but once I realized my hair didn't turn out to what she said it would after a few washes I reached out to her and didn't hear from her at all. I just wish that she would have told me she couldn't do what I wanted or at least fix it. I will post the pictures of what I wanted and in the order of the session what it came out to and how it is now. read more

I preferred a Paul Mitchell salon because my experience (and what I've heard) is their coloring agents are among the gentlest. I've loved the non-brassy results every time with PM. So I found Kate's Kuts, a full Paul Mitchell Focus salon. Reviews were high. After phone consultation, I was scheduled with Kayla. She listened and communicated fully but efficiently. She knocked out intricate woven foil highlights that were super tight to my roots. Loved bonding with her but she kept focused, which I appreciate soooo much at a salon appt. The results were perfection. They were exactly right as an extension of my previous color. I actually couldn't believe it was MY hair because it looked so good. I'm only giving the salon one star because I could not post a review without leaving a rating. My complaint is with the manicurist, Hanna. I cannot speak to the hairstylist as I was never there for that. I do not recommend the salon at all. Even though I did not go there for a styling appointment, the salon is dirty and the girls that work there fun task a somewhat unprofessional especially in the manner of how they dress. Their manicurist is very young and very green and does not know what she is doing with nails. The owner should really think about finding someone who is more knowledgeable. Unfortunately, my nails suffered because I chose to go back to give the girl a chance. At one point, she came to work stoned and medication and I am the client that suffered the ramifications of her actions. I vowed never to return but did just to give her a second chance. Shame on me! Again, I would not recommend the salon to my worst enemy. read more

After hearing some positive talk on Facebook about this salon I was eager to give it a try. Kelly was very knowledgable and really listened to what was important to me about my color. She even tried something new to her that my stylist in Oregon used to do which was unexpected and showed me how open she was to doing a good job and excelling at her craft. I have very fine hair and was also very happy with the cut and how she handled my hair. Not everybody knows how to cut fine hair to make it look full. I am very pleased with my experience here. Went for a $32 blowout and after asking for 'beachy waves' and receiving shirlie temple curls and not being asked where I wanted my parting I was not loving the look. Was even more pissed off when I checked out and they added $15 for using a curling wand on my hair!!! At no point was I made aware of this ridiculous charge for the stylist to plug in her wand and when I told this to the front of house all she said was 'sorry' with a bitchy look on her face. I chose not to get my makeup done and thank god as my friends face looked like she she'd been dunked into a tray of baby powder, with no mascara on her lower lashes and slugs for eyebrows.
