Kate Soule - Massage Near Me - North Conway, New Hampshire

Oh my gosh! What can I say about this woman? She is an awesome masseuse! She asked me questions about what I was looking for in an experience. We talked about problem spots in my back. She really listened and gave me exactly what I was looking for. Normally during a massage I like to Zen out, but with Kate we had so much to talk about, and she gave me some great advice to help with my pain. She is also very involved in N. Conway, teaching yoga and pilates, and is a life coach. Plus, if you need a place to stay she rents a tiny house. Highly recommended!! read more

Kate is great! I have been dealing with many injuries and regular massages have eased my pain.

After waking up with tight neck muscles and achey thighs last Saturday, I wanted a last-minute massage appointment. After desperately calling several massage therapists in North Conway and getting no response, I found the listing for Kate Soule of Soule Bodyworks. Kate responded immediately, and as luck had it-- she had an opening in the afternoon! The location of her studio (part of Be Well Studios, located in The Local Grocer) was easy to find, and had plenty of parking. The studio itself was rustic and pretty, with a very calming atmosphere. The music was pleasant and non-intrusive, and the temperature was perfect. The massage was great-- Kate was super friendly, and asked plenty of questions about pressure, problem areas, etc. At one point, the pressure on my thighs was a bit too much (they were very tight and achey) and she adjusted right away. She also gave lots of advice and insight into my problem areas (neck and shoulders); she was very knowledgeable about the joints and muscles I have recurring issues with and knew exactly how to work them. I felt the whole experience was highly customized, and Kate was responsive to my needs during the massage. At the end, she texted me videos of neck exercises and stretches to help with my "belayers neck" issues, which was so thoughtful! As I said, she was a very active listener and truly wanted to help me with my problem areas. I will definitely be returning to see Kate when I come back to North Conway in the future! read more

If you're an athlete, whether elite, aspiring or delusional- Kate can help you get your body performing at its best! I had a frustrating back injury from over a year ago that I never quite recovered from despite a trip to the ER, acupuncture, another massage therapist and daily stretching and foam rolling. It would get better just long enough for me to re-injure it. Kate took the time to listen to the entire backstory before working on my back and educating me on why it wasn't getting better and what exercises I could do to strengthen my back. I felt immediate results from the exercises and can't say enough positive things about Kate! read more

As a massage therapist for 15 years myself I can't recommend Kate enough! Right before leaving for vacation I tweaked my back. Kate was able to get me in last minute and her work is deep and effective. She listened to my concerns and addressed the areas I needed most. Must try! Thanks Kate!! read more

I was in Sweden, ME and had hiked Mt. Pleasant, which was beautiful!, but I managed to really tighten up my neck and shoulder on the hike down. I'd try for several days to apply heat, do easy stretching and ease the pain on my own, but my shoulder just wasn't improving. For three days I called various people in the area and not one person returned my phone call. I came to Yelp, found Kate's reviews and contacted her. She replied to me within a short time of my call and managed to fit me in to her very busy schedule. Kate gave me a great massage, talked to me about what I could do to ease my pain and the inflammation in my muscles, and sent me some information via text to read for additional suggestions and help. Thank you Kate and to those that left reviews ahead of me about Kate. She really was a great masseuse and I was pleased to have worked with her. I definitely plan to be a repeat client when I'm in the area. read more

I had a first rate massage from Kate. She is highly knowledgeable about how muscles and nerves relate. She provided detailed information about what was causing back and leg pain and was able to undo some muscle tightness that was limiting range of motion and strength. She knows sports and was able to address muscle issues related to skiing and then provide practical exercises to achieve greater flexibility necessary for skiing and many other sports. Kate also was a good communicator in the booking process and that is so helpful. Finally she is super nice and really wants to help people. I would go back to her again. read more

I have been getting deep tissue massages for over 20 years and was amazed how talented Kate was. After describing several of my trouble areas she was able provide almost instant relief and had the ability to adjust pressure on the fly based on how my back was reacting to the treatment. She was able to provide some stretches to help and had quite a bit of insight into the how and why my back had issues. I had driven by her studio countless times and never made an appointment. I am glad I did and next winter will be a regular. read more

I have a deep tissue massage with Kate. She focused on my shoulders and t-bands, which were super tight and sore. Kate was very methodical and she has the right amount of pressures, enough but not too much. Because she is a personal trainer and an athlete, she understands how to massage all the key sore spots. She also gave me recommendations on how to properly stretch after my exercises. It was a wonderful massage and I will definitely come back for another session. I would highly recommend her. read more

Kate is fantastic!! Last weekend she agreed to come host a meditation session and half hour massages for my sister's bachelorette weekend away in Bartlett, NH. She came to the house, brought the mats, and we had a wonderful time in the sun & finding our calming white light! Most of us had never meditated before and it was wonderful. Most of us received massages and I for sure know that it was amazing. She really worked on my problem areas, and left me feeling so relaxed. That is exactly what we were looking to receive! My sister had a blast and I know we will give her a call for our next girls weekend away! THANKS KATE! read more

Kate is FANTASTIC - her massages are incredible for people who need to work out knots, heal from injuries and pain, or simply get things (like tissue) moving again! Few people understand the body and how it works better than Kate; she has a real gift. I think she has given the best deep tissue massage I have ever received. I'm healing from a back and neck injury, and her massages get to the core of the muscle, which is uncomfortable in the moment, but I breathe through the discomfort and afterwards I feel incredible for weeks. She also sends information on stretches, how I can keep up the progress at home. Definitely recommend -- especially for fans of deep tissue, and people healing from injury. read more

Kate is wonderful in all that she does! She is a knowledgable and energetic personal trainer who makes every workout fun and challenging. Kate's skills as a massage therapist compliment her personal training sessions as she's very aware of how to properly execute each exercise and why it is so important. Each session is completed with a series of stretching exercises based on your needs on that particular day. As a massage therapist she's as good as they come! Kate quickly identifies areas in need of attention and works to resolve areas plagued by stress and tension. Kate gladly customizes each massage based on my particular needs. I'm a runner and she is always mindful of that, paying special attention to my trouble spots. I always leave feeling calm and rejuvenated. I can't say enough about Kate! Kate is the real deal. I had an upper back muscular spasm and found Kate's information from other positive online reviews. She was able to accommodate me same day I called. I found her to be professional, very knowledgeable about musculoskeletal issues and very skilled. Her hands are strong, and she applied the right pressure and tension. She was able to make recommendations to help me rehabilitate areas of poor posture and ergonomics likely setting me up for my back pain. Above all, she had a wonderfully positive energy to her. I would recommend her to anyone in a heartbeat. Thank you Kate-- your dedication to your craft shows and is much appreciated! read more

Hey everyone! I've been to Kate a lot over the years because she is simply the best in the Valley. I'm pretty active in my off-time between basketball, biking, and maintaining a regimen of P90X/P90X-2/Insanity (sometimes Crossfit) workouts. To put it simply, in order to relieve stress and help prevent injury, there are three things I believe in: foam rolling, stretching, and Kate!! read more
