So glad to have yoga in Rochester, NH! Check this place out you will not be dissapointed…read more Teachers - The studio owner, Heather, is so excited to share yoga with you, from making sure you are doing your postures correctly to explaining the physical benefits, she is there to guide and support you on your yoga journey. She is so knowledgeable and passionate about yoga it really draws you in. I've also had the pleasure of taking some yoga and Pilates classes with Denise, she really pushes you - she kicks your butt in the nicest way possible! Just like Heather, Denise is extremely knowledgeable and passionate. Location - This studio has the perfect location in downtown Rochester. Free street parking (or free parking lot behind the Revolution restaurant for a quick walk to the studio). Cost - Reasonable. Packages to fit your budgets: drop ins, punch cards, monthly memberships. Atmosphere - Such a welcoming place regardless of your experience with yoga. Judgement free. Relaxing (candles, essential oils, dim lighting, light music). So many props available to use - yoga mats (if you don't have one!), different types of blocks, blankets, two types of bolsters, straps, eye pillows, muscle roller balls. And the teachers explain how to use the props in various different ways to help your practice. Benefits - Love the schedules, some early classes and night classes.. Love the lunch time classes for a quick pick me up. Knowledgeable teachers that are not intimidating! Open dialogue with the teachers which is great when you have a sore muscle telling them allows them to add something special into the practice just for you and your needs. The variation of classes really allows you to challenge your body and mind in different way from Pilates - gentle yoga - mediation! Go check out this studio - it will not disappoint.

After dealing with my husband who has 30 back surgeries and myself who have had 5, our life with…read morephysical therapy has been a challenging one. However, after meeting Carrie and her team, we finally found a glimpse of hope. Carrie and her team helped us have less pain, gave us hope for a painless future and truly changed our life. We would highly recommend CJPT to anyone who needs help with any kind of pain or wants to improve their quality of life! The staff are also amazing .... always willing to help and so friendly!

I came across CJ Physical Therapy & Pilates purely by chance, and I can say with certainty that it…read morehas completely restored my quality of life in less than 3 months time. After suffering from severe back pain for almost 3 years, I followed the general route of seeking care through an orthopedic office (Access Sports Medicine). This resulted in wasting thousands of dollars and valuable time (4+ months), with no results or improvement. After months of expensive and ineffective PT, I was told steroid injections or surgery would be the next best option with little to no confidence from my physician that the recommended course of treatment would result in improvements. I am SO grateful that I found CJ PT before I went through with the steroid injections as it could have resulted in a vicious cycle of injections, never actually solving the root of the problem. I learned more from CJ PT than I ever did from my physician; mechanical pain is different from chemical pain and should not be treated the same, herniations can heal with corrective movements, and steroid injections can mask the pain leading to further injury. The team at CJ PT was incredibly informative, educated me on ways to protect my back and help it heal and slowly introduced strength exercises to help get me back to baseline. Dr. Jill is phenomenal. She gave me the tools I needed to begin healing my body and got me back to playing with my kids and reintroducing activity back into my life. It has truly been one of the best experiences and I could not recommend CJ PT & Pilates enough.
