Called Max the owner on Thursday. Got a good vibe from him. Local, community-minded, anticipated our concerns and delivered a straightforward/no up-sell antics bid later that day. Moved on Saturday. Great experience. I was getting a bit antsy come 10 AM on Saturday, as timeliness is a pet peeve for me. Turns out they had sent a text a few minutes before they were slated to arrive, explaining their last job went a bit over time. Classy. And they arrived just a few minutes later. Not the most mature or professional looking crew I have ever seen, but they quickly allayed any concerns about quality service. All three were friendly and genuinely enthusiastic, with obvious concern for our items. Never once had to prompt the trio to keep moving (as it were). When there was a momentary lull--our fault, not theirs as the move required a sequence of steps that had to be followed and we were not perfect in our staging-- each of them were quick to ask "what next?" and then got straight to it. It was not an easy job ... literally more than a ton of equipment racks, keyboard, vintage (as in 1930s) sensitive speakers and tubed electronics, plus a world-class turntable, and super-heavy wood credenzas. All this plus the major obstacle of the ... ... wait for it ... ... dreaded narrow staircase. They were not fazed. One of the guys managed to track in a touch (as in specks) of tar that had got stuck between treads on his shoes before they arrived here. No sign of it until later in the move; it must have been deeply embedded in his shoe and warmed up as time wore on. When he discovered the issue on the stairs, he was quick to show me the sticky goo and clean up. I would not have noticed it until later in the day, but thanks to him, the problem was quickly resolved. Very conscientious. Three hour job was completed in two hours. Got a rebate on the bid based on real time performance. Best move ever. Highly recommended. read more

I was closing my practice and needed equipment moved to storage and another location. Some items were sensitive medical equipment requiring special care. I called Kastl Express a few days beforehand, and they sent a full crew--even adding extra members and a second truck to speed things up and properly separate the loads. The entire job was completed in one day. Everything was packed carefully, nothing was damaged, and they gave special attention to the sensitive equipment. They arrived on time, and the final bill was considerably less than the estimate. They were great. read more

These Guys are AMAZING!! They showed up on time, considering they squeezed us in same day that I called to help unload an extra large 26 ft. U-Haul. They had it fully unloaded in an hour. Very professional and careful with everything. Unloaded all our heavy shop equipment with ease, including a large industrial drill press. Will defiantly be using them again for our second trip. I made a very heavy purchase that got delivered on a pallet today, and realized that if I tried to move it myself, I'd probably get killed. I called around, and same day (within two hours) they stopped by and took care of it for cheaper than anyone else I called! Hired Kastl Express to deliver a set of heavy, mechanical couches. The guys showed up on time and were very careful with the doorways and walls. I asked them to leave them in the kitchen so I could rearrange the living room before I decided where to put the new furniture. The guys put down pads to keep my linoleum from being scratched.
