My son has been seeing Dr Kaspers and his crew for almost 2 years now. We live about 30 min away and it's worth the drive for us. Since we had our initial consultation I vividly remember Dr Kaspers speaking directly to my son about his teeth and the next steps in his journey. I really appreciated his patience with us and his attention to detail. He explained everything thoroughly to my son. We are halfway through his journey and we are planning on coming back when my daughter needs braces as well. DO NOT GO HERE. If I could give zero stars I would. We continue to suffer from Dr. Kaspers "professional" misleadings, outright lies and false hopes. We spent years and thousands of dollars here. Not only did he do long term damage to my child's mouth, he has shaken our trust in the industry. The lie was blown open when my child had to go to another orthodontist out of state and another professional laid eyes on my child's mouth. They were horrified and told me everything that Dr. Kaspers had insisted was helpful and necessary, needed to come out immediately. The "treatment" had actually pulled my child's teeth away from the gums, resulting in exposed nerves and needing gum surgery. Dr. Kaspers is dangerous to the profession. When confronted, he takes zero responsibility and blames the patient. Do not be wooed by his cheery and optimistic demeanor. This is a case of a doctor having a God complex and not being able to admit to his limitations. If you care about your kid, do not trust this practice. read more

My sister and I had a horrible experience and wasted an insane amount of money here. His methods are out of date and he forces all his patients to have years of unnecessary work done to their teeth. He promised to fix things that could never be fixed with braces and instead, left my teeth with gaps even after having braces for 6+ years. As a long time patient, I have been very proud to call Kaspers my orthodontist. You will always get good service with friendly staff! I highly recommend them if you really want to get great results. Living 5 hrs away now, Dr. Kaspers made an exception to work with me on Sunday since I would be leaving in the afternoon to go back home. Dr. Kasper has been treating my son for a year and a half, and I am extremely pleased with the results. Dr. Kasper utilizes the latest advanced technology and has provided a treatment plan which will serve my son well in the future. His office is very clean, and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. it is very easy to schedule an appointment and the reminder calls from his office are helpful. He is also treating my daughter who needs a more extensive treatment plan. He is addressing and correcting issues now which could possibly impact her in adulthood. I think it is wonderful that he has the ability and foresight to deal with these potential problems when my children are young. How do I give negative stars? This place completely screwed up my jaw and teeth. I cant even chew properly and hate my teeth now, I feel so embarrassed smiling. I thought spending $5,000 on a place in a wealthy neighborhood was a pretty safe bet. I was SO wrong. There are so many other options, and you only have one set of teeth for the rest of your life. Dr Kaspers solved my temporomandibular joint (tmj) problem. The tmj is the joint you can feel move if you put your fingers just behind your ear, and open and shut your mouth. Sometimes it gets out of line,and causes pain and trouble eating. The reason for that is often misaligned teeth. I was having severe trouble with that, and was referred to Dr Kaspers by my dentist. Dr Kaspers agreed that the problem was misaligned teeth, took casts, molded a bite block that I had to wear for months, and began reshaping (grinding) my teeth a little at a time to bring them back into normal bite alignment. It took more than a year, but the problem is now solved. Which means I can again eat without pain. His office is run well. Staff are efficient, friendly, courteous. I have seen the odd set of reviews: 5 star, 1 star, nothing in between. Maybe the thing to do if you go to Dr Kaspers is ask him/his staff about the bad reviews. I don't recall any review site I have visited that shows such an extreme. Strange. But for me: 5 star. read more

They have jaw issues which could not be treated by our neighborhood orthodontist, so we feel fortunate to have been referred to Dr. Kaspers, because of his expertise in their particular problems. Dr. Kaspers is a perfectionist with braces, appliances and head gear. His imaging system helped to correct my son's TMJ and jaw issues and now straightening teeth. It's been almost 4 years so we are ready to be done. The assistants and front desk staff have always been amazing helping us to get in for last minute fixes and even calling other patients to trade appointments when conflicts arose. All three of my kids have gone there. Two are out of braces and they look great. I think Dr. Kaspers is a perfectionist. There are no gray areas. I wish the timelines were a little more accurate though. I realize orthodontists have different methods and ideologies but I think you need to go with someone you believe and trust. I felt he was very thorough in his explanations and treatment plans and was always open to explain anything in detail and answer my questions. As an adult patient, the thought of braces was awkward at best and embarrassing at worst. My referral to Dr. Kasper was a blessing. We have had a great experience with Dr. Kaspers. He is treating my oldest daughter and she has received excellent care. His staff are professional and kind, we don't wait long for appointments and she is making excellent progress. I previously thought that the point of braces was purely cosmetic but because of Dr. Kaspers' imaging options, he saw that my daughter had a limited airway. Now, in addition to straightening her teeth, he is correcting the larger issue of her jaw to hopefully avoid having her have any problems as an adult. read more

Dr. Kaspers is anyone's nightmare. My daughter has been under his treatment for 4.5 years. Since there had been no improvement I decided to seek out a 2nd and 3rd opinion. Based on her pre-braces x-rays, I was shocked to find out that my daughter's teeth are currently in much worse condition than they were 5 years ago. I was told it will take 2 years to undo and correct what Dr. Kaspers has done. We paid him in full at the beginning of the treatment and now it will cost us additional $5300 to correct his horrible doing. If I would only have known what I know now, I would never have put my child through this. My daughter is a junior in high school and might have to go to college with braces. Dr. Kaspers needs to be held accountable for his work and should have his license reprimanded so as not to have this treatment suffered by future patients. read more

My experience was the complete opposite of an earlier poster. I am extremely happy with the results of my orthodontia and feel that I was given the best possible treatment that will suit me both cosmetically and healthfully. I also appreciated that Dr. Kaspers keeps up with (and ahead of) the latest technology and best practices. Kai R's review from 2012 could not be more true. I wanted to believe the positive reviews on Dr Kaspers but after going to this place for a year weekly (sometimes twice, to three times a week) to get "adjusted" with no end date in sight, you begin to feel extremely robbed of your time and money. Dr Kaspers is not clear at all how long your treatment will last, and he keeps his patients in braces and extremely large and awkward appliances for a very long period of time. I can not stress enough how horrible the appliances he makes his patients wear are. Prepare to talk funny, get strange looks, and spend hours of your week going to Dr. Kaspers office to get your appliance adjustment. I wish there were more valid and true reviews on this place prior to beginning treatment but I strongly encourage whoever is reading this to save your time, money, teeth, smile, jaw, and wellbeing and go elsewhere. read more
