My 16yo daughter recently completed her treatment and had her braces removed. It was a mere 2 yr process. We had visited local orthos for opinions and costs near us in Northern Illinois and discovered all our docs were using a one size fits all plan spanning over 4-6 yrs at twice the cost. Dr. Youngquist was cost and time friendly! The office is impeccable and the staff wonderful. I feel we have grown old together with all the years that spanned between myself and my daughter. He has shared personal family stories and travel experiences with my husband and myself, as well. We had a great experience with are first consultation they took X-rays, lots of pictures, and then talked about the best approach for us. Now days they are trying to have kids in braces very young. When I was there I had lost all my baby teeth and had all my adult teeth in. They said that would save us a lot of time and money in the long run. We decided to do the metal braces as they moved the teeth the best and the colors are fun to pick. We also had expanders and spacers as well. They aways had appointments available and if you has any issues with your braces then they can get you in to fix the issue. I will say before your braces come off if you need to get your wisdom teeth taken out then do so. Also wear your retainer after like they say. My teeth are still strait my sisters are now back to being crooked. The wisdom teeth came though and push her teeth and caused her to now need braces again. This place is great and will meet your dental needs and its a great atmosphere for tween/teens!
