The fee was quickly forgotten. my Son got Xrays done on the first appointment, set up the second appointment. Needs 2-4 teeth extracted. During the second appointment I go in with him, dentist shows me the trays, the damage, then refuses to work on my Son because he turned his head when he quickly shoved his hand in his mouth. So he says he can refer us to a dentist. My referral was a post-it note with a single word, "pedodontist". We find our own pedodontist, they need xrays done but there just was an insurance claim made so we contact these people to get the Xrays and within a week they say they dont have them because they never took them. Yet, the dentist showed me on the second appointment! The new dentist also told us that a cleaning was also used by this doctor but no such cleaning ever happened cause he doesnt know how to deal with children that are scared. Best of all, a month and half later I'm now getting a bill for $210 with no explanation. I just tried calling them and no ones answering. How, as a "professional" do you just send a letter that says nothing but pay "$210". These people are a joke. Dont go!

So, I just thought maybe she had a bad day, and I let it go. I called the next day to see if I can change my appointment, and she transfers me to the dentist. He then tells me he can do it at 12:15, but he is cutting into his lunch time. I told him I had to work until 12:00 and if it is "interfering" with his lunch that I could do a different day. He then asks me to leave work early and I should work with him, because he is doing me a favor. The conversation went on after him continuously being rude and ignorant. After getting off the phone, my fiancé was upset with the way they spoke to me and he called. He also said they were horrible to deal with and told the dentist that him and the receptionist need to work on their customer service skills. He tells him that he has been doing this for years and can talk whatever way he pleases. The dentist then proceeds to hangup on him. We do not complain EVER, but this was the worst place I have dealt with in a long time. Do not give them your money, and find a place who actually cares about you and your families needs!

You ever go to a dentist or other service provider and feel like you're being taken advantage of?…read moreThat is exactly how you fee using Miles Family Dental. Somehow my husband and I had significant charges after a routine cleaning, even with insurance. Highly recommend going else where. It seems like every patient ends up with a bill at the end. So, if you like spending money outside of your insurance coverage, you found the right dentist. If not, find somewhere else.

I had a broken tooth filled on my upper right side. I was on time to my appointment and was left to wait for 20 minutes in the waiting room. When Mary (the denist) came to talk to me she didnt introduce herself and I later found out who she was. While she gave the local anesthetic she hit the main nerve in my face. I have never felt any pain like that before, my right side of my face immediately went numb and couldnt see out of my eye for a few seconds. Needless to say, I was a wreck and cried through the rest of the procedure. After, My whole right top jaw was in pain for the following week while I was not able to eat any foods warmer or colder than the temperature of my mouth because the tooth was so sensitive. I called Mary she said it was normal for the first week. (It is not normal to be that uncomfortable says other dentists) This lasted for a month. I went to see another dentist who took an xray and said Mary had not drilled out all the rotten part of the broken tooth as well as not having filled the tooth completely so there was space between my tooth and the filling so the gases trapped expanded and contracted with temperature change. This had caused a lot of new damage and rot and lots more money in repairing my tooth by a second dentist wanting to do a root canal. After all this, Mary did refund me the money for the poor job she did but the money I spent repairing her poor work and damage cost way more than the refund.
