And he is very, very reasonable- price wise. My brother had a tooth pulled and he paid five times as much. Dr Barnes is a saint. He did a root canal on another tooth last year and he let me pay for it every month. He works with you. I have no dental insurance. I don't know what I'd do without him. Oh, yes I do. I'd be in pain and I'd end up at one of the high priced gyp joint dentists in the area.

These people are the worst…read more It started with a mask fee of $10 and I asked if they didn't wear masks before the pandemic. The fee was quickly forgotten. my Son got Xrays done on the first appointment, set up the second appointment. Needs 2-4 teeth extracted. During the second appointment I go in with him, dentist shows me the trays, the damage, then refuses to work on my Son because he turned his head when he quickly shoved his hand in his mouth. So he says he can refer us to a dentist. My referral was a post-it note with a single word, "pedodontist". We find our own pedodontist, they need xrays done but there just was an insurance claim made so we contact these people to get the Xrays and within a week they say they dont have them because they never took them. Yet, the dentist showed me on the second appointment! The new dentist also told us that a cleaning was also used by this doctor but no such cleaning ever happened cause he doesnt know how to deal with children that are scared. Best of all, a month and half later I'm now getting a bill for $210 with no explanation. I just tried calling them and no ones answering. How, as a "professional" do you just send a letter that says nothing but pay "$210". These people are a joke. Dont go!

He then asks me to leave work early and I should work with him, because he is doing me a favor. The conversation went on after him continuously being rude and ignorant. After getting off the phone, my fiancé was upset with the way they spoke to me and he called. He also said they were horrible to deal with and told the dentist that him and the receptionist need to work on their customer service skills. He tells him that he has been doing this for years and can talk whatever way he pleases. The dentist then proceeds to hangup on him. Even though the office was clearly busy, I never once felt rushed or like just another patient on a list. I have very complicated TMJ jaw issues and I saw Dr. Hoffman because he came up online as someone…read morewho specializes in TMJ problems. After two visits, I would NOT recommend going here if you have complex jaw issues. My issue is that my discs are displaced and locked, not just that my muscles are sore bc of clenching and griding. Went I first saw Dr. Hoffman, he recommended botox in my masseters and temples. He also recommended a repositioning split. The bill that I was given at that appointment included both the botox and the fitting for the splint which was done at the follow up appointment two weeks later. This was well over $1k. At my follow up appointment, the fitting for the splint took only about 30 seconds which I found concerning. Then i got the price for the splint which was $4k. I did not feel comfortable paying this after a 30 second measurement, so I decided to get a second opinion before moving forward. He also told me that he has only treated this in 5% or less of his patients. Overall, I am very unhappy with my experience here. I felt pressured into spending over $1000 on something that was totally unnecessary. I wish he would have been upfront and honest about his ability to treat my issue and recommended that I go somewhere that is more specialized in TMJ problems.

Because of her incompetence, I had to go through a full retreatment with another dentist -- 6 long visits, each involving high doses of anesthesia -- just to fix the mess she left behind. I even had to take 6 days off work and pay $3,750 out of pocket. To make it worse, the clinic has now removed her name from their website, pretending like she never existed.
