That clinician is still practicing. My clinicians canceled on me very last minute, but they expect you to cancel 48 hours before your appointment or you are charged the full fee of service. They sent my appointment reminders to someone other than myself without my approval or knowledge. It is a very haphazard practice, avoid at all costs.

I bought some medicine and vitamins from her which ended up being less than on Amazon. I feel as most doctors now are not that interested in "difficult" cases, she certainly was focused on getting to the bottom of it. Highly recommended. Most insurances accepted.

I have known Dr. C. De Cholnoky for over 35 years. She is very caring about her patients.read more

I have been seeing Dr. de Cholnoky since 1989 and have found her to be an excellent OBGYN. I have…read moremoved overseas twice since then and to the west coast three times over that period but continue to have her as my primary OBGYN. She saw me through a very difficult pregnancy in 1990 with complications prior to and following the birth that caused me to get to know a good number of specialists that work out of the Stamford Hospital system. While in the hospital, I asked several doctors who they chose to use or whom their wives chose to use for their OBGYN care. Everyone I asked told me de Cholnoky including the then head of Surgery for Stamford Hospital. His comments said all. Here is what he said: "There are lots of doctors who can deliver babies and that's pretty norm for the course during the life of an OBGYN. The reason my wife see de Cholnoky is because I have seen her at the operating table. She's as cool as a cucumber in the event of an emergency. And that's what you really want. Someone who can react well when it's necessary and someone who can handle the more complicated issues during a pregnancy or any other malady in a women's health care. de Cholnoky skipped first grade at Greenwich Academy. She then went on to succeed with obtaining a degree from Harvard Medical School during an era when professors were walking into classes and addressing the class with "Good morning Gentlemen." It takes smarts and guts to be a breakthrough woman in any line of career. She's won my respect. I can't recommend her enough and have advised my daughter as a result, to also see her. I researched doctors in the area thoroughly and landed with her as my choice. I hope she'll do a good job for anyone choosing to see her as a result of this post. Good success with your healthcare choice.

The receptionist blamed me, was condescending and rude, and insisted on fighting instead of just saying sorry for the inconvenience. Horrible customer service, especially for a new customer that was recommended to him by an existing patient. Then she called me back again to explain what happened, and I asked her if I could call her back since I was on the phone with my doctor. She didn't care and continued to keep talking twice because her time was more important than mine. I called her back only to be blamed yet again, and then received the following email today. I spoke with the doctor about our telephone conversation on Monday, September 21, 2020 and he feels that it is best not to see you as a patient in this office. We have cancelled your appointment and refunded your $50.00 deposit. The doctor doesn't even know my side of the story but cancelled this appt regardless. I also called to clarify these multiple appts I had in my calendar, and no one called me back in several days. It's a shame his receptionist treats patients with major health issues like this instead of treating them with compassion. I will definitely let my wellness practitioner know who recommended him highly to me about this horrible experience.

The subsequent stay at the ICU was similarly handled with caring professionalism and the doctor there did an excellent job of laying out the situation for us. The doctor (Zahid) and nurse (Alyssa) who cared for my husband after the ER were similarly caring and did well explaining the situation. The echocardiagram tech was professional and delightful. I only wish I remembered everyone's name to call them out here. MY only complaint was the CPN and several others who were caring for the man in the room with my husband. The man didn't speak English - speaking louder doesn't help him understand you any better and only succeeded in waking my husband up each time he managed to fall asleep. All in all it was a very good experience and I would be remiss if I didn't single out Alyssa my husband's nurse. She advocated for his discharge so that it happened before close of business. Thank you Alyssa for caring enough to make it happen for us! You deserve a medal, truly.
