The woman who does ultrasounds at Brookside Gynecology is a heartless prying witch. I went for my ultrasound and while in the dressing room she calls out: "You have children, right?" what would this have to do with my ultrasound? I gave her an answer I have never given; "No more!" I called back .She was prying to see if I was the one who lost my only child. She stated my D.O.B. and I remarkEd that I was an old lady. She said, "Nooo...but you have children!" Now I'm in the stirrups and she asks, "Where are your children living now?" I said, I have one daughter who resides in Heaven. She flatly says, "Somehow I remember that. After the ultrasound was done she asked, "Do you have other children?" I replied with my voice rising to match my sarcasm, "No! I don't!" she never uttered a word of a condolence, not 3 years ago, and not now. Insensitive and ignorant are too kind to describe her despicable behavior. I'm so done with Brookside Gynecology. I was with this practice for over 40 years. They delivered the only child I lost at 23 years old. The ultrasound witch asked 3 years ago: "Was he sick?" she just assumed I lost a male child to an illness. She was pushing for more information, wanting to know how my child died. I said, "She died from a heroin overdose." That shut her up. I should have given her a copy of the death certificate:
"MANNER OF DEATH: Accident."
"CAUSE OF DEATH: Heroin Toxicity."
