The grief was disabling during the day also and I was unable to work or do day-to-day tasks, my mind was reeling. I knew there was no way I could do years of counseling to get through it, I needed something fast to help me return to normal life. I called ECC and asked Melanie what she could do to help heal me to accelerate the process of trauma, and get results and relief fast. She introduced me to EMDR and Matrix Reimprinting. I had never heard of such a thing and didn't know the technology behind them , and truly thought they sounded like a waste of time and would not work. But I was desperate. After learning how they work on the brain and body and the historical proven results, I gave them a try. Much to my surprise I was shocked to see that not only did they work but they gave fast results and relief to my grief and pain and reeling thoughts that would not stop. The effects were so positive I couldn't quite believe it could be that easy... I still am baffled and SO incredibly grateful to Melanie and ECC for having these techniques to offer to our community.
