However, since buying the vehicle, several issues have surfaced. First, the roof trim came loose, which I had to glue back myself. Then, I discovered that the rear door handle was broken--a detail I missed during my inspection, so I had to fix that as well. And this morning, I realized the power steering fluid is definitely bad, which may require me to spend $2,000 to $3,000 to replace the pump entirely. It's evident to me that this vehicle was not properly inspected by a certified professional before it was listed for sale. The "computer readout" they provided, showing old diagnostic codes, was apparently from the previous owner, as they didn't even bother to run it themselves. I take full responsibility for trusting these people--Alvin, in particular, was great to work with--but unfortunately, this dealership refuses to stand behind their products. They are doing everything possible to avoid covering repairs that, in my opinion, should have been addressed before the car was listed for sale. Who sells a car with bad fluids, broken trim, and a faulty rear door handle--something that could have potentially trapped my kids? To make matters worse, although I paid for the warranty in full to cover issues like this, they are politely refusing to cover any of the repairs because they "aren't engine or powertrain related." While Alvin tried his best, he has no authority to make decisions for customers, which is frustrating. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. I wouldn't call my car a lemon since it does run, but the lack of accountability and customer support is unacceptable. The only reason I'm giving this dealership one star instead of zero is because of Alvin's efforts. So, thanks, but no thanks--save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else!

The salesman, Alvin, was great and I felt he was trustworthy. He agreed to take the car to a nearby auto mechanic to double check it, at my expense. That checkup found serious issues, and the salesman got the dealership to agree to fix them. Why? I had a great, newer car to trade in. But today, when they finally got the parts and had it fixed, Alvin came in to work to find that instead of taking it for its final check at the auto shop, it had been sold to someone else yesterday. Yes, I was disappointed and I am not pleased. But since they used my report to make fixes to the car and sold it to someone else, it seemed the least they could do was pay for that inspection. The owner, Roger Tinsley, just told me he "wasn't doing that" and I "should have bought the car quicker." Since Auto Fleet's inspection didn't find any of the issues found, and they were the ones who said there was a delay in getting the repair parts, I find that an interesting argument. So - I'm out $250 and I don't have the car I thought I was getting this week. Don't make my mistake. Go find a place that isn't run like this one.

Hi, We bought a 2003 Volvo s40 from this man on February…read more27, 2015 for 3200 which he had priced at for 4000. He said they were minor things that needed to be done but like rotors and brakes and a oil change that the car was in top condition and nothing was wrong with it at all and the motor looked decent. Well besides the radio did not work and he said it was just working the other day must be a fuse, and that he has worked on cars him and his mechanic together for over 30 years and the brake light out that he replaced. Well long story short we drove from asheville Nc which was over a hour away to get the car, took it for a test drive for about ten minutes and everything seemed ok except for a weird noise between 1500 and 2000 rpm which he said was nothing but the stock turbo! So we gave him the money after pleading with him that we had some concerns and he said anything and everything to sell the car which is understandable. Well we start our journey back home and when we got up to 50+ mph it had a very bad vibration and scrubbing sound? Sounds like what he said rotor and brakes, so we continue driving and the car is definitely acting much weirder after we eventually get home after only going 50. We take it immediately to our family mechanic which ended up spending close to a 1000 on brakes rotors bushing and calibers. Then we drive it back home which is 10 miles away and we completely lose compression in the motor the car is stuck won't go anywhere. So again within the second day we call our mechanic and have it towed there after calling the dealer and him saying oh it's nothing just a code I promise I worked on cars for years that car has nothing wrong with it. Come to find out 3 out of 6 cylinders are not working they have been patched together with electrical tape which will make them run for a short period of time. Also after we got back from sc the check engine light comes on and a automatic cars gear lights pop on? Which leads us all to believ he reset the check engine lights by taking the battery out. We have replaced 3 censors bushings shocks coils new engine wires the whole nine yards it has now within 4 days cost over 6500 total, and the dealer has nothing to say besides you bought the car if it would have broke down a mile down the road I bought it and it is not his issue we must have done it to the car and hung up. And now we have a 7000 dollar car that still has issues. If you come across this man or dealership please STEER CLEAR! I'm getting ready to buy my 4th vehicle from here (including my daughter's1st manual...which was reliable her whole college years - and my son's subaru which is still transporting his growing family around), and I have had ZERO unexpected issues. Joe's always upfront about it being USED, and the rigorous inspection (and/or repairs needed) he requires before letting it off his lot. If you are an "uneducated" buyer, perhaps you shouldn't be leaving 1 star reviews! I did my research on each vehicle I bought...and am 100 (not 98or99) percent satisfied with both my experience and product. Remember, you are buying a USED car. Do your due diligence! And if you want a good vehicle at a fair price, this is the place to visit. Kudos to Joe for having to deal with you 1-star people. My experience is 10 stars...but can only give 5.
