This isn't my first review, I've been here plenty of times. But today I finally tried the guava and…read morecheese pastry. I've always seen it, just never ordered it because I figured it was "just" guava and cheese. Big mistake. This is hands down one of the best guava and cheese pastries I've ever had, and I grew up eating these. Perfect balance, not overly sweet, and just done right. I had to come on here and say something. Definitely don't skip it.

The avocado and…read moreegg toast was huge and loaded up with egg and avocado; we shared it amongst 3 of us and still didn't finish it. Each toast was between $16-$18. Our lattes were a bit pricier than I'm used to (around $8 each) and as expected for a latte. All of the pan, sweets, and pastries were tasty and fresh. The space was crowded when we came in but we were able to get a small table and enjoy our meal. The staff was nice, friendly, and patient with my parents who do not speak Spanish (which was appreciated). Not pictured: almond croissant & key lime tarte (to go, and around $15 total) which were both fresh and tasty. We also ordered a quesadilla (about $6) which had a sweet cheese filling baked atop/in the middle of the dough. One downside... YOU, the customer, has to pay the credit card fee of 3+%, which I did find off putting after spending over $75 in their establishment. I could see if it was under a $10 purchase, but when you're spending $75+ it feels like sneaky business to pay the stores credit card fee (which is a business expense on their end), while also covering the tip and taxes, which are expected.

It's seriously so good loaded with chicken, pork, steak, and sausage over a bed of fries, topped with multiple delicious sauces. It's flavorful, filling, and definitely enough to satisfy your cravings. I recently tried their panlova, and I was honestly surprised by how good it was. It did not disappoint! They're usually parked outside the bank, with plenty of parking available and outdoor seating to enjoy your food. If you're looking for a hearty, flavorful meal, this spot is a must-try.

I don't know if they used the wrong kind of sausage by mistake. Looks like a regular hotdog but has little red bits inside of it and tastes like a spicy sausage instead of a regular hotdog. #2 the hotdog had giant pineapple rings on top of it. I expected pineapple sauce but the giant pineapple rings were a surprise. Too messy, couldn't take a normal sized bite, unnecessary. #3 The garlic sauce overpowers all the other sauces so the main flavor was spicy garlic sausage. Did not eat it. Waste of $10. Carne tacos- carne tastes completely unseasoned. Description says it comes with cilantro. Mine had 1 cilantro leaf per taco (being generous). Has no flavor. Did not eat it. Waste of $10 Maicito de carne- the most decent thing we ordered and it might be because we drowned it in pink sauce and pineapple sauce. We shared this one since it was ok. The carne in this one did have a grilled seasoned flavor. We added bacon but the bacon was raw and floppy. Picked it all out. Overall a waste of $13. Would not go or order again.

I know for a fact that if it wasn't because my son insisted on me trying one of their incredibly delicious empanadas, I don't think I would have ever walked inside of this small place in an unassuming shopping mall in Kendall. Now that I've been introduced to Central Park and all of their incredible food, I'm totally hooked! The first thing I tried here is their beef soup, and I must say that it is spectacular! The soup comes with chunks of beef and some delicious Latin vegetables. What makes this soup so special is the richness and flavor of the broth. I order this soup every single time I visit. After the soup, I always have their empanadas. I have tried many different ones but my favorite ones are the ham and cheese and the shredded beef ones. My husband loves their Pavellon empanada which literally has everything but the kitchen sink: fried plantains, black beans, shredded beef, and cheese just to name a few. It is the size of a baby's head! I will be back soon to enjoy more of their Venezuelan delicacies. Pro tip: don't be like me and let the name keep you from enjoying their delicious empanadas.
