From that day forward until the day we picked up our new puppy in May, Bianca is the most pleasant and passionate breeder/person we've ever met. She provided us with short videos routinely, kept us updated regularly with text messages and even opened her home to us so we could visit the expecting mom throughout her pregnancy & Bianca even sent us pictures of our new puppy when he was less than 24 hours old. Not once did she ever deny us of any information when we requested it. Bianca's Yorkies is second to none. They just need current Rabies Shot records from your vet and they are good to stay there. You'll just need to set up an appointment for availability. I was glad that they had availability last minute and they were there for about a week. We missed them alot but, my husband was in the hospital for a week or less. The employees also asked if they had a certain type of food that they eat and if they do, I brought their food for them so that they aren't eating something that they aren't used to. They are very accommodating with the food we gave them for our two Dachshunds. I am Recommending this Cowboy Kennels and they are located off the 281S & Basse Rd.

After 10 years of being a Pawderosa customer, they've lost my business for good…read more I am the type of person that likes to build a relationship with a company or service and stay there long term, so it didn't bother me that Pawderosa didn't have all the bells and whistles (like included daycare with boarding and live camera feeds) their competition has. I was a very content customer, other than one issue that I considered relatively minor in the grand scope of things. I've personally referred dozens of people to them over the years, which I now greatly wish I could take back. A few weeks ago, Pawderosa asked their customers to fill out a survey to ostensibly help them improve their service. I filled it out with generally high marks, but did note that the hours of operation are tricky to abide by. The posted hours here on Google are incorrect; they actually close their lobby every day from 12-1, and occasionally other times too for staff trainings or for other reasons. There is no communication with their clients about this other than posting it on their door. I am a business owner, mom to a toddler, and I have 2 pets as well, so trying to find time to drop off my dog without running into their closures has sometimes been an issue for me. I noted that in the survey, and their reply to that was to tell me to call the office if the door is locked and they would facilitate a drop off that way. That solved my problem, and I thought that was the end of that. Fast forward a couple of weeks, and my wife arrived 5 minutes after 12 to drop off our dog. She called me and I said "Oh no worries, they told us just to call them if this happens so I'll do that." I called and they let it ring through a few times, but I kept on trying, as that is what I was instructed to do. They finally answered, I explained the situation, and they told my wife to go ahead and drop off our dog. When she stepped into the office, Hannah was extremely rude to her, ignoring her greetings and admonishing her to mind the posted hours next time. My wife walked away feeling like she had just been sent to the principals office! So of course, I wanted to address this rudeness: I sent an email to one of the managers in hopes that we'd be able to clear the air and receive an apology for the rude treatment. What ensued were some of the most humiliating and awkward conversations my wife and I have ever been party to in a professional setting. Hannah called me from her personal cell phone (perhaps to avoid the call being recorded on the company line, but that is pure speculation) and berated me for 3 minutes straight. She let me know in no uncertain terms that she was not sorry for behaving the way she behaved, and gave me a talking to like I was a disobedient child for calling during their lunch hour as instructed. When I asked who I could escalate this issue to, given that she made NO attempt to smooth this issue over with me, she told me "no one" and that she's the top of the line due to the owner being a busy entrepreneur who doesn't speak with clients. Being a business owner myself, I found that rather shocking. I would never tell any of my customers that I am too busy to speak with them, especially not people that have been loyal to my business for 10 years and spent tens of thousands of dollars at my establishment. But either way, I took the hint. Hannah and Pawderosa management were letting me know that they don't need my business and to not let the door hit me on the way out. Then my wife called, giving them the benefit of the doubt and sure that this was a huge misunderstanding. She spoke with Amanda, who doubled down on Hannah's message, saying that I am "a bad vibe," "hostile," "irritating" and that I am a "problem client." Amanda's idea of fixing this was to cut me out of all future communications and deal exclusively with my wife. She asked what specifically I have done to warrant these descriptions of my character, and Amanda said "well I don't know off the top of my head." When asked if I had ever raised my voice to her or any staff member or used bad language with any of them, Amanda admitted no, I had never done that. So by their own admission, there is actually no evidence of me being anything but cordial and professional with them, besides my "vibe". Safe to say, this was all news to me! I rarely even interact with their staff, outside of sending them reservation request emails and vaccination updates. When I pick up or drop off my dog, it's a 1 minute interaction at most, and I am, as a rule, very sure to say Thank You. So, I scoured my email to see if I had ever been a "problem client" as accused, and I did have some constructive feedback for them in 2017 -- nearly 8 years ago. I suppose that and letting them know on their survey that their hours are inconvenient are enough to throw away a 10 year relationship and make me feel like I'm back in high school being gossiped about by the mean girls.

I'm all about supporting shelters and rescue groups. It just so happened they had a pair of super sweet dachshunds for adoption, fully bonded together, and only one year old. My heart leaped for joy! We filled out an application right away and noted we wanted to adopt them both. Communication was fairly easy, mostly through texting with Nancy, the owner and founder of Miniwonders Adoptions. She was pleased with our application and before I knew it, a meeting was scheduled for them to come visit us and our home. She had warned me that they were very skinny and had skin bacterial infections, that were not contagious and were treated with betadine. She said that they were ready to be adopted, and that it would be for us to decide yay or nay. They arrived, and they were the cutest and sweetest pair, with a loving demeanor. How could we not fall in love with them. She presented all their paperwork- spayed, neutered, rabies shot, vaccinations, heart worm test results, and they were given their Simpirica dose. I noticed round white patches on their skin and brought it up to her- she said that they were of bacterial origin. She stated that her vet was old school and did things under the table for her...... what does that mean?!!!!! "Just apply betadine." She stated that she would be happy to pay for some of the treatment cost if it was something else. Besides the skin issues, they looked scary emaciated. Nancy said they had no digestive issues and were eagerly eating the Purina lamb and rice without any issues. We happily adopted our new babies. The following days were tough- mucous bloody diarrhea everywhere. When we finally got them in to see their vet, their stool both tested positive for hookworms and coccidia! Skin cultures were taken and sent off to lab. Well, that explains the emaciation! Treatment immediately followed. I texted Nancy of the issues- especially since 1. she adopts out other rescues and has dogs of her own. She needs to know and make sure things don't spread. 2. Her and her vet did not test their stools. 3. If you've had them for two weeks , wouldn't you think something was wrong if they were not gaining weight?! She acknowledged and said she would give the rest of her dogs fecal tests. The skin culture comes back a week later....with guess what?!!! Ringworm. Poor dogs..... Now they are on weeks of antifungal medication, medicated baths/wipes, quarantined, and I have to constantly clean their bedding and space. I once again reached out to Nancy, so that she could be aware. She acknowledged my frustration and texted me that she would happily take them back and give a full refund. I stated that we did not want to return them, that's not the point. Awareness, accountability, and responsibility are the keys for a rescue group. She eventually did pay for some of the ringworm treatment and noted that she would not use her vet again. Oh and I forgot to mention, fecal tests also came back positive for giardia! More deworming medication! These poor dogs originally came from a neglected home, none of it their fault, humans are to blame.... Nancy rescued them, but not sure what was really happening at the rescue group- no clear address, stated she did not notice diarrhea in her yard, question whether the dogs for adoption are kept indoors or outdoors, " old school vet, who does things under the table for me," ........ All we know now is that these beautiful dogs have a good home where they will be loved forever. Don't think I would adopt from her again or recommend this rescue group to anyone.....

THEY ALMOST KILLED OUR DOG!!! We left our Silky Terrier Coco with them for a week while we were on…read morevacation. During our vacation we called multiple times to check up on Coco. They told us every time that she was doing fine. When we returned to pick her up she had severe bloody diarrhea and was almost comatose from dehydration and she had lost 3 pounds in one week! She had to spend 2 weeks in the hospital on a IV and have a feeding tube for 4 weeks because she was to weak to eat. This cost us $6,600. But the worst part is her kidneys failed because she was neglected so long by them and now the vet says she only has 6-9 months to live...

Tell me who can pick up before 11am if they're out of town? They don't tell you this before you book. They have a sign at the front desk once it's too late to reserve somewhere else. Dropped off around 2pm and picked up around 2pm the next day for $68!!! I've been going for years and the staff is not friendly either. Never going back. Will be boarding down at Tails are Wagging from now on.

She pays attention to small details and really cares for your pets…read more She watched our three cats over Christmas, and even came out to meet them all and do a walk-through prior to pet-sitting. She was able to fit in a last minute additional visit due to an unexpected circumstance, and sent photos of all the kitties each day. I was glad to see they all seemed comfortable with her, and she even took the time to always check in on my shy kitty who likes to hide. As a veterinarian, I can be picky when it comes to my own pet's care, and I've definitely found my go-to pet sitter now! Highly recommend!
