I set an appointment with the dealership for a specific truck. When we arrived, was told oh so sorry it's a demo and one of our managers has it, let me show you something else. I didn't want something else, I set up an appointment with a specific salesman, was told oh, it's his day off. They didn't have the truck I wanted and made no effort to find what I wanted. Im 60, this will probably be the last truck I buy and I was ready to spend the money to get EXACTLY what I wanted. The truck they gave me to drive had no gas. I had to drive to the gas station so they could fill it up No offer to order what I wanted or to find what I wanted. What a joke of customer service I will take my business elsewhere. I used to have Fords and this was the closest dealer, service advisors are friendly. I came in today with a company car for a tire going flat. I was one of the first people here, if not the first, at a little after 7am. It took them an hour to figure out they couldn't patch the tire. I should have waited for discount tire to open. Next time I will. An hour and forty five minutes for a tire change. Pretty crazy. Update. They blamed me because I didn't have an appointment and their techs don't come in until 8. If I could have scheduled the nail in the tire I would have. If they would have told me at 7 that the techs wouldn't be in until 8 I would have gone to Discount Tire because they open at 8. read more

My F-150 experienced transmission issues so I took it here under warranty. After being told it would take weeks to months for the part to come in as it is on indefinite back order, I was billed $155 to get my truck back to cover diagnostic. It's frustrating because this is a known issue with this vehicle and is covered under warranty if I were to leave my truck there and have it fixed. A driver side back window was not able to roll up in my Ford Escape and I was looking for a repair. After coming in to pay and pick up my car Charlie angrily says "There is no extended warranty. I was in the market for a 2019 Ram Limited so I found this beautiful truck. I called Brian to schedule a test drive. Wife and I drove up the next day for the test drive. There I met Brian and we looked over the truck and went on our drive. The drive only lasted about 10 minutes because we only went about 2 miles down the road and back. Very rushed! After returning to the dealership I asked Brian would they honor my doing a PPI(pre purchase inspection) on the truck. He said that he would need to get that approved from his manager. Then he tells me that we have mechanics there already. Then I told him that I wanted to see air suspension functionality of the truck and how it works. We activated the switch for the truck to lower and nothing happened. Brian told me that he would get that checked out and get back with me on Monday. No one reached back out to me. Tuesday I send an email inquiring about the problem. Wednesday I finally heard back from Brian. He told me that management refused to fix it and It's an "as is" vehicle. It will be sold "as is". Later that evening I received the email that the truck was sold. Obviously this dealership does not inspect their vehicles prior to selling. Good ole country crooks! read more

I really do not like to write reviews, therefore it either must be really bad or really good. In this case its beyond belief bad. Germania Insurance I believed was a great company. We have had no issues for years. Customers for a long time. Now that we have had this wreck with some damage to just our vehicle. They are nowhere to be found. Germania Insurance had us take our vehicle to one of the largest dealership shops in Decatur, TX. Our Vehicle was there for about two weeks. The older service guy there was mean to everyone. Very unpleasant to work with. So, at the ford dealership where they did the body work to our vehicle they also replaced the cooling system on our 2015 DODGE JOURNEY. We get our vehicle back from these guys and less then a week later we start hearing a noise. We were asked to bring the vehicle back so that they could access the vehicle. At that point Germania Insurance was notified of the vehicle making a noise. The older man at this ford dealership in Decatur TX tells us that he will contact our insurance adjuster to come look at the vehicle. Come to find out this never takes place. At this point we must take our vehicle to the Dodge Dealership in Decatur TX same company. So the ford dealership in Decatur TX can replace the cooling system but they could not figure out where the noise was coming from. The Dodge dealership in Decatur TX has our vehicle for over a week trying to figure out where the noise is coming from and finally, they get it, it has to be the Alternator and the idle tensioner. If you know anything about vehicles, this has nothing to do with the cooling system. We are told this has to be the issue. So, we pay and go pick up the vehicle at the dodge dealership in Decatur TX. We start it up and we hear the noise. Going back into the service department we are met by a young sandy haired boy. He starts telling us, well its an older vehicle and its going to make noise. This vehicle is five years old and has not had any issues before now. Instead of him trying to resolve the issue. He tells us it's your problem now, after the fact of having our vehicle in this shop for over a week and paying a thousand dollars. Two weeks later. Driving the vehicle to work. Once at work the vehicle bust into smoke everywhere, fire department was called out because we thought it was going to bust into flames and blow up. Fire department comes out and looks it over to make sure everything is okay. They tell us that one of the main hoses that goes from the radiator to the engine exploded. At this point we had to have it towed into a dodge dealership in Fort Worth TX. This was later confirmed by the dealership. The ford dealership in Decatur TX that could not figure it out and passed off their faulty work. The ford dealership in Decatur TX that lied to us about contacting our insurance adjuster. Germania Insurance said they would come back out to look at the vehicle again and that they will fix the issues. They were unwilling to resolve the issue. Just like the Dodge dealership in Decatur, TX. The service manager could care less about the customer. Thanks to AutoNation Dodge, they actually fixed the vehicle. To the service manager, there is no need to bring it back when it has already been fixed and again you could care less about fixing the problem. read more

This place just cannot get on my good side. Needed a new key for my truck. Called them to see if they could accommodate me. Said they could so I immediately went there. To make a long story short they said they it would take up to 3 days to get the key since they didn't have a way to cut the key. I have never, ever gone anywhere to get a key made where I didn't walk out with the key on the very same visit. They did not even mention this on the phone. To be fair they did tell me a dealership I could go to. Which I did and which they had no problem getting me a new key. Pattersons in Bowie to be exact and this dealership rocks! Karl Klement infuriated me years ago when they refused to honor my warranty and they have only gotten worse! I despise this dealership and the only reason I gave them 1 star is because there wasn't a lower rating! Should have known better when it rated only 2 and a half stars to begin with. I should have headed the warning of the many bad reviews I had heard about this place...I made the mistake of using the auto body shop to do repairs on my vehicle...Not only was my car returned back to me after they didn't fix the main issue which I had been extremely clear that needed to be fixed(it was the only reason I had brought it in), it also took them a week and a half to get it back to me(the first) when they told me it would only take 4 days at the most. After almost two weeks of being without my car and going to the shop to see that they hadn't done the work that needed to be done, they then told me it would be another couple of days before I could get my vehicle back if I wanted the part that I had initially brought in for two weeks prior! I then left my car there (my mistake again) only for them to take another week and a half to fix it, when they only told me less than a week! I then paid for it, or at least thought I had in full. I get a call from the front desk telling me that THEY had added my total incorrectly and that I still owed them money, for them adding it incorrectly! The audacity to even tell me I owed them money after they had told me the total I owed and then paid, is absolutely ridiculous! Not to mention the disrespectful attitude from both the receptionist and the lying organizer, Paul was the cherry on top of the worst auto experience I've ever had in my life! I am appalled at this behavior and the treatment of a customer who had paid a LOT of money to be treated with such disrespect. That was the first and the very LAST time I will be spending my hard earned money at such a disreputable business. read more

Well, Not sure what sales might be like, but the service department is garbage, I would never let them try to fix my kids wagon. I had them do warranty work which entailed swapping out my diesel motor. After they got the motor from the warranty company, they took just about 4 months, maybe 5 even after the service manager told me it might take up to 4 weeks. Then they were not communicating with my warranty company on charges and tried to way overcharge me. Hundred of dollars. When I picked it up, on the invoice it said that my hydro booster or power steering pump needed to be diagnosed for bad hissing. It never hissed when we brought it to them. I had a friend of mine who also worked as a Ford Tech. look at it when I got it home and discovered the lines to the hydro booster were installed backward. They were marked with blue tape even. I could have figured it out. Once the lines were corrected. No hissing and they work like new. Word of warning. Drive hundreds of miles out of your way to not use Karl Klement Ford. I have pics of the invoice and the backward lines. Ford Certified Mechanics my rear end. read more

An absolutely horrible place! First off i was told the truck that i was purchasing came with a gooseneck b &w hitch but turns out the ball was "stolen" out of the bed on their dealership lot and then i tried to get reimbursed once i bought the ball somewhere else and they said the "wont be paying for that" Second they did not do a safety inspection when they sold the truck to me because they could not have aloud the truck to pass it. The front tires were showing cords on the inside where you couldnt see it because the alignment was off so far. So they waited long enough for me to have bought tires for it and then called me back in for the inspection so they wouldnt look bad. Next I went in for a "perform service" light which is just and oil change and a few filters and the service department guy said that was an emissions problem and they couldnt fix it, so he obviously didnt know what he was talking about so i took it elsewhere for the service After that i was having trouble with the DPF system on the truck after only owning it for 32 days it was staying in regeneration for 5 hours straight and waiting until the exhaust filter was 90% full to start the cleaning process, so i took it up to karl klement dodge to get it fixed and they said that "everything checks out and is fine, nothing is wrong with it" so apparently the truck cooking its exhaust is "fine". They also never called me when it was finished being looked at. I had to go up there to check on it Lastly i was just pulled over by a police officer who said that the license plates on my vehicle do not match my truck. So Karl Klement gave my plates to someone else and gave me the wrong person's license plates and i almost got my truck impounded If i had it to do all over again i would go anywhere else, anywhere at all. I am outraged at the lack of service and help i have recieved from this business. I wish i could give this 0 stars read more

Service department attempted to totally rip me off by creating a repair estimate of $11,500 after they had done their "diagnostics" when in fact if they had inspected the truck they would have seen that instead of needing a complete new turbo, it only needed an intercooler line reattached. The actual repairs were only $1,300. read more

The sales staff and management are some of the most dishonest people I have ever dealt. They continue to lie to me and treat me with no respect. They claimed they have mailed my license plates I received nothing. Two weeks later the sales person Ernest says that he wont mail my plates to me. Why? Because these guys are a bunch of crooks they have attempted to lie and cheat on every aspect of our deal. They sold me a damaged new vehicle and didn't disclose the damage a week later they let me "return it". However they tried to have me pay an additional $1716. Ernest called with the classic "hey i got your paper work done and your payment is X" I had them send me the numbers and when i called ernest he continued to lie and say they had to charge these various taxes. Only after i emailed them a spreadsheet detailing the transaction where they able to do what they agreed to do. charge me the difference in msrp. It took them 2 days to figure this out. After which i asked that the paperwork be sent to me. They asked how? I said simply email it. Then I received a phone call from Ernest saying he was waiting on me for two hours past closing. He tried to make me feel bad because they never followed up. I went and returned my damaged 2014 f-250 the next day and they never sent me the paperwork I asked for. Honestly I dont even think i should have to pay the $530.17 considering all of my time that was wasted due to the incompetence of the staff. read more

Do not ever go to this dealership!!!! to say that they have poor customer service would be giving them to much credit. This place is a joke. I've never had such a bad experience some where that I felt it necessary to write a review to warn off potential future customers. I have a 2014 f150 i dropped it off here on June 21st because it started shifting rough from 3rd to 4th and for an alignment because the tires where wearing fast on the inside edges. I was told 3 days later on a Friday that the trans was shifting wrong because of a wiring issue and that my truck would be done on Monday. Never heard anything back from them Monday. Called them around 5pm they said that a part inside the trans has to be replaced and that I'd would be here Wednesday. From here on out it was nothing but excuse after excuse and promise after promise that the truck would be done tomorrow. It took over 5 weeks for me to finally get my truck back. There excuses ranged from took long to get parts in, the power was out so we couldn't work on it, parts are here but a seal was missing, we would have had it finished today but we for got that we also were supposed to order this other part and it never got ordered, you would have gotten it today but now it won't go in to drive, it burnt up some more parts in the trans. Personally I don't think their mechanics up there know how to fix things. Seeing as my truck started having issues with them that I never had with it while they were doing the repairs. They never call to Inform you on what's going on if you want any info you have to call and ask. When I called the manager to see if there was anything he could do I believe his name was Jed he said he'd stay on his guys and make sure it got done. I called 2 days later after not hearing anything back and find out he's left on vacation and will be gone for over a week. Real good job staying on it Jed. Then I started talking with another manager joe. The first time I talked to him was at 4pm one afternoon. He said that he'd go see what was going on and he'd call me back in 20-30 minutes. Never got a call back. Instead I had to call him back 2 hours and 45 minutes later. About 15 minutes before closing. He said he wasn't able to get much info from them and that he'd talk to them first thing the next morning and that he'd call back around 9am. Never heard back from him. Again I had to call and yet again another excuse. So before I got the truck back they said for the inconvenience of it taking so long they would have it delivered to my house in justin so I wouldn't have to drive up there, they would replace a broken windshield, change my oil, fill the gas tank, and detail the truck inside and out. Well they did replace the windshield and they did deliver it to my house. They delivered it covered in bird crap I mean COVERED in bird crap. They didn't Chang the oil cause I checked it was dirty and had the same oil filter I put on it the last time I changed it. The inside of my truck was filthy never cleaned and the tank had less than 3/4 of gas. This place SUCKS. DO NOT GO HERE. I called after it was delivered to complain to joe he said I'd have to talk to the main manager Jed when he gets back from vacation. I was told he would be back tomorrow and give me a call first thing in the morning. Well here it is 12pm I've already called them because they don't ever do anything they say they'll do. and been told by the receptionist that he won't be in till tomorrow. I felt mocked because my husband and I were running numbers using calculators on our phones and the salesperson had the audacity to call his "manager" and tell him (in front of us) "oh they are on their phones typing in numbers." We asked for solid, best price bottom lines and were getting the runaround, couldn't give us an interest rate and then told us they were closing and couldn't do anything else until the next day. Beware of purchasing used vehicles from these people. They don't check out their inventory before they selling it. Before I left the lot the AC wasn't working properly. Then the check engine light kept coming on. I call and they tell us to bring it in. They will take care of us. Well they did take care of us, wanting to charge me $400.00. I think not. Joe in used said he never said they would take care of it. Said we were putting words in his mouth. I am beyond pissed. Do no use these people for anything. Don't call your customer a liar. That is the worst customer service I have ever seen. I haven't drove the vehicle very much because of the check engine light on. We had to go out of town for 3 weeks so when we got back we took it in. I can not believe that they sold me a vehicle without going over it for things wrong with it.
