Los Gatos Dental. 15075 Los Gatos Blvd.,#100…read more Today I had my six month cleaning and check-up. Alexa Z. Hygienist (RDH) assured me she would be gentle with the cleaning of my teeth, since I am very sensitive to dental procedures. This was my first visit with Alexa. She was professional, wonderful, very attentive and gentle with the entire process. She is a person of her word. My teeth feel great and look great. Thank you Alexa. Dr. Martinez was a new dentist for me. She explained all that was going on with my gums and teeth referring to the x-rays which was a good visual for me as she explained what was happening. She is the professional dentist that I want on my team. Thank you Dr. Martinez. Both professionals that attended to me today made me feel like we were on the same team. I walked away from their office feeling good about myself --the job I do taking care of my dental hygiene and their suggestions of my dental care and needs. Much thanks and appreciation to Dr. Martinez and Alexa Z. I am happy today I am on your team.

The Unquestionable Tooth…read more I'd been searching for a new dentist for a few years before being referred here by my gf, Carissa, last year. I normally prefer a smaller mom-&-pop type office instead of a dental mill, but this place kinda falls smack dab in the middle of both. The Good: *Dr Cho (the only dentist I've dealt with) is terrific; personable, affable, and tells you exactly what's going on and why. *The entire staff from receptionists to the nurses are all very friendly and can all take a joke. *They accept most insurances, as Carissa and I both have different types of insurance (Delta & Tricare). *They seem to be a one-stop shop for all dental procedures, according to their website. *They figure out your co-pay, and you pay at the end of your visit; no stupid bills in the mail to deal with. *They're very prompt, respect your time, and get you in and out very quickly. *Text reminders, and they will also text you if they have questions or issues that arise, which I prefer. Phone calls are giant PiTa, especially if you end up paying phone tag. The Meh: *They are *not* a Delta Premiere Dentist, so if you have Delta Dental PPO insurance, then expect to have a co-pay. *Not open on weekends *Maybe I misunderstood, but when I was trying to make an apt recently, I could've sworn the receptionist said they're not open on Fridays? However, their website, Yelp and Google, all show them to be open from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m., so not I'm not exactly sure what that's about. *If you need a 2nd or 3rd visit, then they'll have to be a few weeks apart as apts are hard to come by. The Ugly: *Parking can be a bit of a nightmare at times, as their shared lot is almost always packed and lacks any shade. Street parking, however, does have some shade but can also be hard to come by. So, make sure you give yourself a few minutes before your appointment to find parking. TLDR: Great dental office that makes one of life's annoyances tolerable.

1 star for general incompetence at every turn…read more I was quoted 300 for a dental appliance, and then charged 1,000. After much to do, they eventually honored the original quote. I showed up to receive the appliance, and the assistant appeared with a needle to anesthetize me to fill multiple cavities. I have no cavities, and I had to refuse the shot multiple times before they realized their error. I left the practice and recently emailed to obtain records. After supplying my full name and date of birth, they replied with, "What is your Last name and Date of birth?". It took 11 emails to discover that the dentist who saw me was no longer at the practice, they do not retain records, and to contact him. They sent a long winded excuse, part of which reads: "His office has a new contact number and email address that we do not have on file. We recommend that you search for Dr. Ortega's current practice and contact his office directly to obtain the most up-to-date email address." I googled it, and his new office is...in the same building as White Oaks Dental. It's hilarious that they go out of their way to be unhelpful. If you are looking for a way to test your patience and add stress to your life, dealing with White Oaks Dental may be for you!

The dental work he did for me was top notch. I was always grateful to him for his none-charge expensive dental work, (3) three unit bridges that I wore and kept through the years until recently. Thirty or thirty five years of wear is amazing. Because his amazing dental skills and how he taught me as his dental assistant I'm able to identify a good dentist from a mediocre one and it has been very hard through my life no matter where I am to find a dentist with the same qualities in the dental art and functionality as his. This will be a lengthy review…read more I'll start with a bit of back history. I lost my father to cancer. He went to his dentist with a toothache that was actually a tumor causing the pain. He was diagnosed and gone within 2 years. So, when I started having tooth pain my anxiety set in. I did some research in my new area and Dr. Santos was at the top of my list. After speaking with a few friends he also came highly recommended. Then I reached out for a recommendation from an oral surgeon that worked with my dad and Dr. Santos' practice was the first name he said. So I made the appointment. Turned out, I too had a type of growth. Dr. Santos was extremely kind as I sat prepregnant in his chair with tears in my eyes, yay for hormones. He sent me over to the oral surgeon, the mass was removed and benign. When I returned to Dr. Santos, he was left with a bit of a mess to work with (and on a budget, as I was paying out of pocket as a SAHM) my gum line had receded greatly and was mostly scar tissue and I desperately wanted to have that "pretty smile everyone else has". We agreed on a process and everything was set up right in his office with 3 different specialist! Dr. Santos being a one-stop shop is so convenient, especially at this point in the process with a newborn at home. Dr. Santos' staff is unmatched! They are so sweet, from greeting Jolie at the front desk (she works hard on the schedule and timing of appointments), and the hygienists, to working with all of the staff in the back (and I mean all of them). There is not a single person in this office I don't trust to do the best work. By this point, I felt more like I was visiting family. I received the best care in such a fragile state. I am truly thankful for the kindness Dr. Santos has shown me. His amazing vision for my new smile came to life and far exceeded my expectations. With the help from all of his team I now have a smile I'm proud of. Thank you Dr. Santos for making this all happen for me, I appreciate you so much! IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR DENTAL CARE, LOOK NO FURTHER.

I called prior gave all my insurance information. Lisa the phone lady assured me everything was covered by my insure waited a month for my appointment just for them to cancel with me. They called back a month later after that to ask if I still wanted to be seen i agreed since I had already done all the paperwork. Didn't like Aaron hes condescending with no bed side manner. He asks you what your there for instead of meeting with his people and finding out which makes for an awkward repetitive conversation like he dosent know what hes doing. The way he probes your mouth and pulls on your cheek to look inside is aggressive and unpleasant. After Aaron did nothing but question and poke around all the real work of first time patient intake scans/xrays/ teeth cleaning all done by the amazing Hygienist they have. I left paying nothing cuz again remember my insurance covers everything I got a call to pay them 150$ which didn't have had to wait till the next week to pay them. I wake up to a bill from my insurance whom I now owe $195.20 for the work I already paid 150$ for. If you like being scammed and paying 350$ for a condescending man to do nothing but poke around your mouth. It wasn't painful thankfully but they still treated it with urgency and booked me as early as I was available Monday morning, even called to offer an earlier time that day which I definitely took. I met with the staff and Dr. Dang. She took the time to listen to my concerns, hear my complaining about the totally unrelated gap in the front of my teeth because I didn't want to wear a retainer as the lazy defiant teenager I was, lol, and she even walked me through what she was doing (I have a curious mind!). I also asked about Invisalign but told her I heard it was pricey enough to make all my filling pop out. Dr. Dang fixed the filling and introduced a creative way to close the gap and wow! Who needs Invisalign. I didn't expect much given my gap but she figured out a new way to make it happen for me. I haven't had a gapless smile in over 10 years. Fun fact. I had a bit of a lisp when I talked before and voila. It's gone. I don't miss it. lol We might not really think about it but from my perspective, there is art in dentistry. I don't know how she did it but it looks great seriously. Whether I book my appointment with Dr. Phan or Dr. Dang, both are super patient, they listen and don't answer right away (a good thing in my mind). They think and walk me through potential options. The good ole days when doctors listened. I don't have to worry about them not listening here. Anyway, I'm super happy with my results and will continue to be a patient here fosho.
