First of all it's a very cute, little, very classic bar with a handmade back bar that is incredible. I didn't partake but the bloody mary bar looked awesome. Bartender was solid and one of the owners who was there was an incredible host. The thing that put it over the top though was the live music. The owner explained that they have a variety of different musical events on a regular basis all of what sounded awesome. The day we were there it was Bob Balsley and Sarah Williams Larsen, guitar and fiddle respectively and a couple of guests that sat in for a song or three. Wow. They are incredible, entertaining and hilarious. I live in Milwaukee and would honestly include them being there in scheduling my next visit to Green Bay it was that much of a fun time. I read some reviews about it getting crowded, I could see that but on an off season Sunday afternoon it was just what the doctor ordered. A very welcoming and warm and cozy little spot.

So I would not order any cocktail if I came back. Ambiance was nice. Dark and moody.

The bar area is vibrant, spreading out into two main areas for lounging. Really great ambiance. The tap selection is awesome, though it can be a bit overwhelming. They have iPads at the bar to view the tap selections based on your search criteria. However, they are somewhat slow and limited in number. Fortunately, the bar staff makes great recommendations. Here's a typical weekend conversation I have:…read more Me: "Hey let's do karaoke!" Friend: "Where do you want to go?" Me: "Mikey's of course!" There are a lot of bars that have karaoke, but for some reason I keep going to Mikey's and I have no idea why! Here are some reasons: - A perfect stage with plenty of space for your karaoke fans to dance along too - A vast collections of songs...you'll find something that you like - There's a couple of TVs that display the words of the current song...so everyone can sing a long! - Everyone there always has a good time It's a strange mix of people that come to this bar, but we all have the goal to sing our favorite songs. The bar itself is pretty spacious, with a couple of pool tables and darts, and plenty of high tables to sit or lean on. The beer selection is kind of lacking, and generally a little more expensive to other bars. I'll admit, I usually don't drink much when I come here, I'd rather sing. If you like sweet tasting, boozy drinks then I would recommend getting the Volcano. A downside about the karaoke is that it can take well over an hour to sing your next song. One reason is because they have a lot of people that like to sing. Also their rotation is kind of funky. If I request my second song, and then someone after me requests their first song, then that person will go before me.

If we had to break it down, the food would be 2 stars, service 4. Eggs Benedict was a fried egg with a hollandaise that was lumpy and most likely made from a powder. No Canadian bacon so I ordered a side of sausage - which was dry. 1 Star. Gave it another shot. Asian crunch salad - not bad could have had more dressing. 2 very small slivers of chicken in it which were dry as well. 3 stars. My husband got Asian wings, potstickers and ordered an artichoke dip as well for the kids to share. Wings - 2 were raw. Seasoning was lacking. 1 Star. Potstickers were super greasy - we blotted them dry and liked the dipping sauce. 2 stars Artichoke dip - was really good! 4 stars. Service was great - food side of things could be better but if you stick to salads, soups (looked good) and the dip it's good. Their Bloody Mary's looked epic - so we may try that before heading out of town.

The meat lovers pizza I purchased for three of my children fed all of their bellies and was about $22, not too extravagant. The Beyond Burger was over $12 and was cooked badly. My husband's fish tacos were just "okay" and we didn't understand why only two were provided. The staff were nice enough, but very slow with our drink orders. $85 for five beers, a pizza, and two entrees seemed a little excessive to me, but so be it.
