All of the larger cities in the state have their top bars and places to grab a cocktail and very quickly this location has placed itself right at the top! For downtown locations in Green Bay, there isn't anywhere that offers or invests more in their live music, happy hour specials, and bartenders service. Never have an empty drink, friendly servers, and clean cut environment! Great place to grab a drink, and stay for a few with friends and family! It's one of those places you will introduce to your friends and you will end up planning into your future trips to Green Bay or your typical Wisconsin weekend cocktail hour!

Me and my boyfriend were in town for the Packers game on Thursday. On Friday night after dinner we…read morewanted to visit a few bars before going back to our hotel. This is the bar we kept seeing recommended. We got there pretty early for a Friday night (probably around 8-9) and there were only a few other people at the bar with us. The atmosphere of the bar is nice, and I enjoyed playing a game of darts. Upon sitting down we were immediately served, but picked up on the fact that majority of the other people sitting at the bar were staff. Eventually our first bartender left and a couple other girls came over to bartend. When more people began arriving, we still were pretty much the only couple consistently at the bar. With two bartenders behind the bar on our side we had to wait an absurd amount of time for drink refills. I sit two seats down from a woman I picked up on that she actually works there, and our bartender stood and talked with her majority of the night. The bartender would go minutes without looking our direction and multiple times we had to verbally try and say something to get her attention. At one point another staff member had to even physically let them know that we were waiting to be taken care of. I'm not normally one to say something about a place, but as visitors we just didn't feel very welcome. I genuinely felt like I was at a staff party rather than a bar.

It attracts a similar crowd like Stir Ups and Kittners, bros and annoying 21 year old girls. The bar is loud and with dumb pop music, and is filled with bouncers/security. On evening during the week it can be a pretty chill place. They do have a wide selection of martinis, and several craft beers on tap. I event played Trivia there on a Wednesday night and it was a lot of fun. When it's Mr. Hyde, it's a Saturday morning during the Farmers Market is going on. They open up early with a bloody mary bar. It's $10, but it comes with your bloody mary and a FULL PINT of beer. All the fixings you can add are from vendors of the Market. A great example of a local business supporting other businesses. In the far back they have beer garden with another bar and a bunch of tables. It's a great way to soak in the hot sun with a cold beverage on a summer morning.

First of all it's a very cute, little, very classic bar with a handmade back bar that is incredible. I didn't partake but the bloody mary bar looked awesome. Bartender was solid and one of the owners who was there was an incredible host. The thing that put it over the top though was the live music. The owner explained that they have a variety of different musical events on a regular basis all of what sounded awesome. The day we were there it was Bob Balsley and Sarah Williams Larsen, guitar and fiddle respectively and a couple of guests that sat in for a song or three. Wow. They are incredible, entertaining and hilarious. I live in Milwaukee and would honestly include them being there in scheduling my next visit to Green Bay it was that much of a fun time. I read some reviews about it getting crowded, I could see that but on an off season Sunday afternoon it was just what the doctor ordered. A very welcoming and warm and cozy little spot.

The bar area is vibrant, spreading out into two main areas for lounging. Really great ambiance. The tap selection is awesome, though it can be a bit overwhelming. Two large monitors display 20 of the tap selections at a time, rotating thru the entire interval (which means you have to keep up or wait for the listing to come around again). They have iPads at the bar to view the tap selections based on your search criteria. However, they are somewhat slow and limited in number. Fortunately, the bar staff makes great recommendations. This is a great place to spend some time sipping and relaxing.

It does have a great dance space area, but I don't really dance to country music. This is a space where you're going to get your drink in a plastic cup and is full of bros and bimbos. I also have a rule that if there are bouncers at the bar, I don't want to be there. To me that means you know you'll have problems with your clientele. I don't need to be a part of that, especially when there are plenty of other bars that are way more laid back, fun, and have better beer.

Oh Kittners. How…read morehave I not learned to avoid this place when I come back to GB? If you grew up in the area, this is the place you come to go creep on everyone you haven't seen since high school. At least a handful of people here always look like they (still?) watch Jersey Shore marathons. It is the capitol of people trying too hard. They have a few pool tables [that always have a wait], decently priced beers, and an adequate amount of space, earning Kittners a 2 in my book. As much of a kitthole as this is, I'll probably be back. Unfortunately.

Once a troubled bar, now a college students paradise…read more In it's past, Kittner's did have problems with fights, belligerent drunks, and somewhat clueless bartenders. All of that is in Kittner's past and it has reinvented itself to please the masses. The most noticeable difference is the crowd that has made kittner's its new home. It is officially the perfect college student watering hole. The enviornemnt has changed significantly. If someone is too drunk, they get the boot. If there is a fight, all those involved are removed but the party keeps on going! However, I am a regular at kittners and I have only seen one fight and it was handled smoothly and effeciently so that the rest of the guests were almost clueless that it was even going on. Students can come here and feel safe and ready to let loose. Another round of beer please! The drinks are fair priced, but tip the bartenders well and you will be pleasantly surprised with extra alcohol in your glass or a free shot here or there. In reference to other reviews , of course the bartenders are good-looking. How on earth are they supposed to make money? But they are well-versed in bartending skills and can make anything you ask them. If they don't know off the top of their head, they just ask! We can't expect them to know everything right? Let's give the bartenders a round of applause. They work had, give you fair drinks, and look darn good doing it. My one complaint of Kittners is that it does not have a dance floor. . They play excellent music ( which may or not be the same playlist everytime I've been there....but hey I'm not complaining) that makes my friends and I want to get up and dance, but, er, where? There is a lot of awkward dancing and swaying near the bar, by tables, and most often just in the middle of the walking path. Despite the lack of a dancing oulet for those who love to express themselves after a drink or two or ten, Kittner's delivers in just about every way. That being said, this bar isn't for everyone. There is not a single bar around the world that could please everyone, but Kittner's sure does try! And for that, I will keep going back. Pros: Good drinks (fair priced), friendly bartenders, great enviornment, fun music Cons: No dance floor. sorry dancing queens.
