Parking is in a parking garage that is connected to the building, and you take the elevator up to your floor. I called Magnolia OBGYN on 04/01 around 9:00 AM, concerned I was likely having a miscarriage due to severe symptoms. The front desk transferred me to Dr. Roth's medical assistant, who was kind and thorough in collecting my symptoms. She gave me guidance on what to watch for and said she would speak with Dr. Roth and follow up. A couple hours later, she called back to let me know that after speaking with Dr. Roth, the recommendation was to come in for bloodwork to check HCG levels and my blood type. I was also told Dr. Roth would not be available to see me for at least two weeks due to her schedule. I went in for the blood draw that same day, and that experience was quick and professional. On 04/02, I received a notification that my results were available, but I didn't hear anything from the office. I called back the next afternoon (04/03) and was told they would have the medical assistant review the results with me. As of now, nearly 48 hours later, I still have not received a follow-up. This is my first miscarriage, and I've had to turn to Google and friends for answers. I'm sharing this not to criticize anyone personally, but to offer insight for others. If you're looking for a more hands-on or responsive experience, especially during emotional or uncertain times, it may be worth asking in advance what kind of provider relationship you can expect here.

I always show up early for my appointments (15-20 early). I don't expect to be seen early, but if you're early you're on time. The office is huge and has plenty of seating so sit back, and get comfy. All of the timeliness or lack there of aside I really like Doctor Alejandro Singer. He is a straightforward, dry sense of humor kind of Doctor. He knows his stuff and does a damn good job explaining it. I am new to Dallas and did a little research on where I wanted to deliver my twins and who delivers at my chosen hospital. His name came up along with another Doctor, Dr. Halsey in his practice. I booked my appointment to see him and I was impressed. He conducts his own ultrasounds which is far from my old practice in FL- if you are hoping for a "photo shoot" of a sonogram, Doc is not the one that will deliver that. He scans what he needs and finishes with such efficiency that I barley know we even had an ultrasound. I'm having twins and both are head down- I would like a vaginal delivery if it's safe and possible and he is a supporter of that! I have met other Drs that hear "twin pregnancy" and immediately go to C-section. So I really appreciate the Doctor listening to what I would prefer for my birth plan and supporting it (again, as long as it's safe for me and the babies)! Two thumbs up for Doctor Singer!

Then....I meet Nurse Adeline! Nurse Adeline explained every piece of equipment and shared the medicines he was being given. She helped shift my Brother up in bed, helped the patient outside his room, and shut the door to ER area C that wasn't closed.... all in about 3-5 minutes. She was friendly, helpful, and observant! I'm happy he is being cared for by her and the other staff I met this morning in his room! Keep doing a great job hiring great people!!

She is a truly special human, and we will not be going anywhere as long as she's there.
