Went for the first time this weekend, about an hour after they opened. I decided to try one of…read moretheir seasonal items, the pumpkin cheesecake cookie. They didn't have any displayed out front, so I had to ask and they brought one out from the back. It was definitely good, but not quite the type of cookie I was expecting. If I had been able to see it beforehand, I probably would've chosen something else. In hindsight, I also probably should've started with one of their classic menu items before jumping into a seasonal flavor! That said, I still enjoyed it. I noticed a lot of people ordering sandwiches while I was there, and they sounded really good, so I'll definitely have to come back and try one next time.

Ordered delivery from here today. We ordered the bacon egg and cheese sandwich ($9.50 on Grubhub),…read morethe tuna salad cup ($8.95), and the molasses spice cookie ($3.75). Delivery was quick. Food was delicious! I only wish there was a different cheese option, as I personally dislike American cheese. The bacon could be a little more crispy too. The egg was cooked perfectly. Fresh bun. Would order it again. Tuna salad is good. The molasses spice cookie is definitely more spice than molasses! It's a soft cookie which I love and delicious! Love the ginger flavor. Overall, we loved it and will order again!!

Daily Provisions is one of a few hip/upscale cafes in this part of Jersey City. A place where you…read morecan grab some food and work. Something filling, though maybe not as messy or heavy as the other alternatives. A very peaceful seating area too. On Fridays I like to grab breakfast from outside and eat there while reading some emails or before I start my day. It feels quite peaceful to me. Daily Provisions did that for me. The cold brew was quite tasty. The egg and cheese sandwich wasn't bad either, though I made the mistake of not asking for some hot sauce. Think that was the only thing missing. Or maybe another egg with the sandwich. That's just me complaining though. I think you get the gist of this.

I get disappointed if it was sold out or the chef didn't make it on my visit. The spread of Yuzu Marmalade on top of the cake makes big difference. When it was replaced by squeezes of white butter cream, it became totally different taste and flavor, which i didn't care at all. The white milky cream in between layers tastes so good as well. It blends perfectly with matcha sponge and Yuzu marmalade in your mouth. I have also tried a madelane raspberry cheesecake, a madelane lemon cheesecake, a chocolate hazelnut opera, and a flan. Both cheesecakes were very flavorful and could spread raspberry or lemon flavor in my mouth right after the first bite. I liked both very much. I also really liked a chocolate hazelnut opera. Its chocolate hazelnut cream was so good. In the end, I liked all of their "opera" cakes. Flan was okay. Not my favorite. It was just a baked version of flan. It's too simple.

There are only a few spots in a tiny lot, making it very tough to park. That said, if you're planning on going, make sure to plan accordingly (ie: bring a small car, come earlier). I tried their palabok, which was okay, nothing extraordinary. However, their ensaymada and fresh baked pandesal are both very delicious! In terms of pricing, everything is priced fairly. Also, the staff is nice. Overall, this is a great Filipino mom-and-pop shop that I've been going to for years, and I would recommend others to stop by if they're in the area.
