Outstanding Dental Experience - Highly Recommended! I was recently referred to Dr. Gevorg George Karayan, DDS, by a friend after sharing my frustration with the outrageous price quoted for a root canal elsewhere. My previous dentist, whom I've been seeing for years, does not perform root canals but recommended the specialist at her dental clinic. While I had used him before at a reasonable price (thanks to my dentist's request for a discount), this time, the cost was shockingly high enough to fund an entire vacation to Thailand, the Philippines, or Mexico, including flights, hotels, food, and even the dental treatment itself. It simply made no sense to pay such an excessive amount. When I told another friend about the situation, she recommended her own dentist and shared how much she had paid for her root canal--which was significantly lower than my previous experience. After checking reviews, I noticed a mix of glowing praise and a few concerning comments, which initially caused me some anxiety. However, I decided to trust my friend's recommendation--and I am beyond happy that I did! From the moment I walked into Dr. Karayan's office, I was met with kindness, professionalism, and a warm atmosphere. Yes, I had to wait a little longer than expected, but that happens everywhere, so it wasn't a big deal. Dr. Karayan thoroughly examined my tooth and referred me to his specialist, Dr. Henry, along with his incredible assistant technician, Izabella. Throughout the entire procedure, they continuously checked on me to ensure I was comfortable. Their skill, patience, and attention to detail were remarkable. The front desk staff was equally wonderful--friendly, supportive, and highly professional. A true testament to their integrity was when I forgot to bring my payment, and Dr. Karayan reassured me, saying, "No worries, just bring it next time!" I was genuinely taken aback by his trust and generosity, but of course, I immediately went to the bank and returned with my payment. Now, addressing some of the negative reviews: I noticed that a few people complained about the wait time and the staff speaking Armenian amongst themselves. Honestly, this criticism is completely unfair. We live in a multicultural society, and as long as they communicate clearly with patients in English, there's absolutely no issue. In fact, during my session, hearing them converse in Armenian while passing equipment was calming--almost hypnotic! It made the entire experience even more soothing. The only issue I had, and the reason I may need to look elsewhere in the future, is that they don't accept credit cards, only cash. While their prices are by far the most reasonable I've found, I simply can't always afford to pay large amounts in cash upfront. If they ever start accepting credit cards, they would be my go-to dental provider for everything! I am beyond satisfied with my experience at Dr. Karayan's office and highly recommend him and his team to anyone in need of quality dental care. Low quality service Idk who my dentist was because he didn't wear a white coat or a badge when doing my root canal. He literally was about to break my jaw open from how much force he was using to do the root canal. Filed down my nice looking tooth into a square box and also to this day I can still taste the bitter flavor in my mouth (been maybe 2 months since) And by the way if you're trying to reach them, it takes around 3 phone calls for them to pick up their phones. I recently had an emergency, one of my back teeth broke, and I was able to get an appointment the very next day first thing in the morning.Gevorg is gentle with his hands. This office location has reasonable prices compared to other offices. He and his staff does not try to promote extra unnecessary expensive procedures. I want to start off by stating that I've had my fair share of dental work. With thousands, and thousands, and thousands and...you get the point...of dollars to pay in bills. Every single time I'm always told in the end that I've still got so much work to get done after some time passes. I've been wanting to go see a dentist for pain but hesitant because I didn't want to be practically penniless. I got referred to Dr. Karayan from my brother in law who's one to never refer anything unless he's sure you're not let down. Obviously I didn't take it lightly and called in the next day. the girls working there were nice enough to give me an emergency appt. I'd recommend this dentist to all my friends and family. The front desk receptionist is by far the rudest person individual I have come across. She was yelling at other workers and intentionally made us wait 2 hours. When I asked how much longer I had to wait, after waiting for 2 hours, she said she didn't know. She continued to speak in Armenian, thinking we wouldn't understand, and told the other worker "I don't care. I'll make them wait 3 hours next time." This is by far the most unprofessional dentist office I've been to, and will never be going back. It's unfortunate that a friend recommended this place. Save yourself the time and avoid going there. Been here once, needed a crown and cavity fixed. I'll keep this short, just don't waste your time or money. Crown looks nothing like a tooth more like a piece of chewed up gum stuck there. A simple cavity was drilled too deep then put filling which later turned into a root canal!! (Root canal done elsewhere of course) read more

The doctor told me "girl, you mixed up something, I see you for the first time. It was not me who made this filling. Lol. "He said this, and next to it was hung the teeth from my first appointment. He is the best Dentist in town. I have changed almost 4 dentists because I didn't receive the service that I was expecting until I was referred to Karayan by a good friend about 3 years ago. Normally dentists see that u have a good insurance and they want to abuse it as much as possible but Karayan is an honest dentist who cares for his customers and concentrates on the quality of the work he does. I had a toothache for about 3 years and many other dentists suggested different major procedures to resolve the problem but with Karayan, it was a simple procedure that probably didn't even cost me a thing just to fix it. I am pain free for almost 3 years now and Im thankful to him since we all know how painful toothaches can get. His staff is knowledgable as well and I can fully trust them too. My family and I have been patients of Dr.Karayan for over 10 years now. It's like a family in the office; same front desk ( super nice, beautiful blonde woman ) Great staff of girls who actually hold your hand during the procedures! I just left the office not 30 min ago and I couldn't be more pleased! I am so happy! Doctor did great work on my tooth this and I am incredibly blessed that the terrible pain is gone. I did not feel a thing! It was quick and painless, not to mention the doctor keeps it light with jokes and the awesome Russian music keeps your mind occupied. I've visited Dr. Karayan several times throughout five years for different situations and on every occasion had the best experience. This thanksgiving left me with a moving crown and I reached out Monday for help and was seen first thing Tuesday. For me this Is the first place when I'm in pain, they work fast and Do quality work. The worst dental office and the worst dentist experience! Would not recommend to anyone. Rude receptionist, filthy outdated medical equipment and tools, the doctor will treat and work on your teeth like if you are a sheep or something, he surely doesn't care about patients. He/they try their best to get done with you as fast as possible. And they take ONLY CASH, which I wasn't told of when setting an appointment, then they act like it's my problem. It's 21st century, people don't use cash nowadays. For that kind of service it's overpriced. After being treated at this dentistry you will have to take a shower and wash your clothes. Dr. Karayan is incredibly good at what he does. He took out 4 wisdom teeth in 40 minutes and I was pain free during and after the procedure. Recently his partner did a root canal for me and he was very friendly and precise. He did a great job and again my procedure was painless and I had no pain after. I have been going here for 8 years now and im gonna be brutally honest i have despised every time i ended up here. Gevorg or George or whatever he goes by...he is very professional at what he does. His staff he has is all trash. Everytime i go in for my check up i always ask if only George Karayan can do the procedure and instead some short bald headed guy shows up in jeans and starts working on the procedure. Any time that man was my dentist he rather works like hes in a rush he does a fast but not a thorough job. I have been getting a root canal in the same place and almost same tooth(next to original) for 6 years and my teeth still hurt even worse. Im currently finding a new orthodontist but please dont believe all the comments that put here with good reviews i assure you they are all friends or family related. Because when you read the negative comments here just go over there and see for yourself. But hey i wanna thank this stupid office a huge thank you for ruining my teeth but you havent heard the last from me my attorney will handle the rest. If you get Karayan as your main dentist then you're in good hands but if anyone else...you better hold on to that chair and feel the disaster they're gonna do.
