There was a new person at the desk. When I asked for my shirts to be laundered (as they always were), he pointed to one and said that it had to be dry cleaned. He then tells me that it would be Monday before I can get them back. He then hands me a ticket for 3x the price I normally pay while mumbling something about the price being too cheap. Seems like this place is having issues (perhaps financial) and this person was there to overcharge loyal customers to make up for the gap. To be clear, here are my issues: 1. An attempt was made to overcharge me. 2. I was asked to pay upfront for the over charge, which indicates distrust And potential racism. 3. This individual did not care that I was a regular and that I was able to quote the prices that I normally pay. We really have to stop letting business come into neighborhoods and taking advantage of residents. I will never be back and caution everyone else to triple check your bill. Finally, I have attached a pic so that it's who I am referring to.

I brought my brand new Monique Lhuillier gown to Dynasty Cleaners that…read moreI had saved for months and months to buy, and wore only once for to an important work event. Upon pickup, I removed the plastic to discover not one, not two, but five large snags and pulls in the front of the gown, unraveling much of the knitting and floral print. The dress is destroyed. Not to mention the belt had a new stain as well with no explanation. My husband brought the garment back over to the shop and the owner shrugged his shoulders and was kinda like "oh, looks like they caught it. Oh well." They did not offer a refund, a reimbursement for the gown, not even an apology. Nothing. No remorse. As it turns out they send every garment to be dry cleaned at another factory in Queens with no oversight or quality control, and not much of a care for what happens to their customers' belongings. If you need something cleaned and pressed that you don't care about, by all means hand it over to Dynasty. But if you need someone to care for an investment piece, garment, or heirloom you care about -- stay far away. I will never bring another item of clothing to Dynasty Cleaners ever again.

I had two shirts ($2.50 each), a sweater ($4.00), a blazer (5.00), and tie ($3.00) dry cleaned. Everything came out okay. I was a little bit disappointed to find that my shirts were somewhat wrinkled and my tie wasn't completely cleaned (there was still stain when I got it). I wasn't asking for much. All I wanted was to have cleaned, unwrinkled articles of clothing. I didn't completely get what I wanted. The customer service was fine.

They destroyed the dress sleeves. Uneven hems, sloppy sewing lines, strings everywhere, jagged pieces sticking out and glue had been ironed on the wool crepe. They knew this and still had the nerve to have me pay and not say a word! I am not going to speculate why they thought it was okay to do this. Why they thought I deserved and would accept this level of workmanship. I would be ashamed to send this off with a customer. Let alone a customer who paid a lot of money. I showed them pics of what I wanted when I dropped it off. If they couldn't do it or thought it might be too hard let me know I would have taken it somewhere else. This is a brand new dress ruined! The moment they messed up on the first sleeve they should have stopped, apologized, suggest I take it to a more skillful tailor and not charged me.
