    Layer cut for long hair

    I have a ton of hair so it's really hard for hair stylists to layer my hair but I highly recommend this salon! It's exactly the cut I wanted and I feel like I lost a couple of pounds from the amount of hair she layered and thinned out. Also, the owners are super nice and friendly

    Linda did such an amazing job on my digital perm! Highly recommend for women's digital perm. I showed her what I wanted and she set my expectations based on my hair type. She went with tighter curls since my hair was on the finer side and she said it would loosen up like I wanted. I actually liked the tighter look as well and wish the perm would stay forever. It is curlier after the shower and products and it loosens up like this photo after a day.

    I recently got a keratin treatment and haircut. The service was excellent! Expert hair styling and cut, attention to detail for the keratin. Very competitively priced. I am very happy with my hair! I am getting married in Feb 2024 and have a hair prep plan and place now! Thankfully very easy to schedule within 1-2 weeks for an appointment.

    Linda is nothing but amazing! I've been going to Linda for about ~3 years now. The first time I went to Linda, she asked me what I wanted and I told her to take the wheel and do whatever seems best fit; reassuringly, she nailed it and I've loved it. I've gone through multiple hairstyles and every time, she did not disappoint. I currently get a perm + haircut every 6 months with ~2-3 haircuts every ~4-6 weeks. She's always consistent. Quality is top notch all around. She's very personable. She's quite busy, so just follow the simple steps: call about 1 week ahead of time to schedule an appointment (if you know when you're going to have your next haircut, I usually schedule after I pay), arrive at scheduled appointment time (if scheduled at 10 am, walk through the door at 10 am). Overall, I've been quite happy every time I walk through the doors! Highly recommend!

    This is a follow-up to Linda's response. A true professional would be accountable and own up to their mistakes and not make false stories just to protect her image. I came in with high hopes and showed a picture. I articulated that I wanted the sides to be clean and tight; she left the top portion thicker which was uneven! She was flustered when I told her to fix it, yes, I moved my head several times because you shoved the razor onto my head. It was uncomfortable and aggressive. As mentioned, I have never been to a place that is this unprofessional. Claiming my scalp had a rash is inaccurate as I know I was never itchy before and this is common when salon do not clean their clipper/razor!! (unfortunately, this had to be my first experience and last). if anyone else had a poor experience, please do post!! Don't go through what I went through!! Not a professional, make up stories to save face, no integrity, highly unsanitary, and overall a bad business! Even the lady who washed my hair did not do well - she turned on hot water which burnt my scalp. Had water splash in my eyes....this place is a mess and should NOT be in business!!!

    Not recommended. This is for man's haircut. I've already done perm out of country. I only asked for shaving the sides and the back with less than half of an inch taken from the hair length all around. This is just maintenance to keep the perm and the length until I do the next one. The stylist failed to do a simple maintenance job on an already good haircut. Instead, she decided to cut a substantial amount of hair and ignore my request. The cut is very generic and just flat scissors cut all around; no texturing, no layering. The worst part is, my back hair wasn't sticking out before because I had sufficient length. Because this poor haircut, the side of my hair lost it's natural and flowdy connection to the back. More important, my back hair is sticking out like crazy (see picture 4). Picture 1 was when I got my perm and haircut out of country in mid-January. Picture 2 was right after I got a cut after 3 weeks of the January cut (some time in Feb). Picture 3 was the most recent cut from this place. ------------------------------------------------------------------- **Long story** I came to this location 3 times. The first time was great. The stylist helped me with the haircut and styling with curling iron. Happy with the first visit, I went back for another haircut. When I came back for the second time, I showed a picture of my desired cut (a side part blow flow; also the exact same cut I showed her at the first time). The stylist pointed out a perm would be needed because my hair is not long enough and not having enough volume (as compared to the picture). I agreed and pointed out I have curling iron at home that can do the wave with that during this time (to achieve the same result temporarily). I told her to give me a cut that will keep my current length and allow me to grow my hair. This time, she was rushing and gave me a very short and crude cut that lacked details and care. Even when she tried to style it, it was almost like trying to use the styling product as a glue to pad down the sticking hair and imperfection. I had my doubt at this moment. I grew my hair for 2 months to regain the length before I got my second cut. And knowing I had a planned trip to Asia where I can get good styling, I let this slide and gave her the benefits of the doubt. Maybe she was just too stressed or busy that day; it seemed like it. Now, when I came back for the third time, I think she either didn't care about my haircut or just simply didn't have the skills to cut it nicely. Like I mentioned about, I already had perm and only asked to shave the sides and back to keep things tidy. The top should have only a small amount of length reduction. (Read the details at the top of this comment). When she finished the cut, I challenged her why she cut it so short. She claimed that she had to do that to match side. It didn't have to. I said that she cut too much hair and I have way less hair (in length) left. She ridiculed me for making that statement and said how she can still style my hair. I also pointed out she cut up most of the permed hair. She said that I should just get another perm coming up, despite she reduced a lot of length. At this point, she cut at least 2 inches of my hair and changed the haircut/look completely. Again, I only asked for a maintenance job to clean up the sides. I was hoping to keep the length for a different type of haircut down the road. Now I completely lost confidence in this stylist. Maybe she does some good haircut for other folks. However, Her lack of attention to details, dismissal of customer's request, and being unprofessional when the customer showed concerns of the final product made me feel angry and write this review.

    Once again I have no clue why the bang was cut so choppily

A company that misleads clients about pricing, traps them in financing with no flexibility, and then delivers treatments that cause physical harm is completely unacceptable. I only found out when I went to the front desk to pay and was charged for both. I felt very uncomfortable because I was not given the choice or informed before the second vial was used. With cosmetic procedures, patients should always be asked and give clear consent before additional treatments are performed. I later went back to the spa to try to speak with the manager about what happened. Unfortunately, the experience did not improve. I was given three options to move forward, even though I never agreed to the second vial in the first place. The options were essentially to continue treatment with the same injector, see a different injector, or just move on. None of these addressed the fact that I did not consent to the second vial. Overall, the management and communication were very poor. When concerns like this happen, there should be clear communication and accountability, but that was not my experience here. I recommend that anyone considering treatment here confirm exactly how many vials or treatments will be used before the procedure begins to avoid surprises. I hope the spa improves its management, communication, and respect for patient consent in the future.
