I had a very disappointing experience at this salon and would not recommend it. From the start, the customer service was extremely poor. I was sitting in the chair for over 5 hours, and not once was I offered water or checked on, while another client (who was white) was offered water. This made me feel uncomfortable and honestly discriminated against. Prior to my appointment, I spent about a week communicating with the stylist about exactly what I wanted done to my hair. She confirmed multiple times that she understood. We discussed it again when I arrived, yet she still did not do what we agreed on. Instead, my hair was damaged, which is completely unacceptable. We also clearly discussed pricing beforehand, and she gave me a set price. However, once the service was finished, she tried to charge me $100 more than what we agreed on. When I questioned it, she was rude and very unprofessional. Overall, this was a stressful, uncomfortable, and upsetting experience. Poor communication, lack of professionalism, damaged hair, and disrespectful treatment made this one of the worst salon experiences I've had. read more

My 11 year old daughter and I have been getting our hair done by Ashly for about 6 months and we love her! She def listens to what client wants as well as offering her expert opinion and 10 out of 10 nails it!!! Finally, a salon who knows what they're doing! I moved to Beaumont two years ago and have struggled to find a salon that is on point, clean and has stylist who are up to speed on things like balayage, etc. Thankfully I found the Kanvas Beauty Studio, a cute and clean studio in Yucaipa, CA that is only about a 15 min drive from Beaumont.
