It appears that Atomic Threshold does not respond to their customers concerns…read more   We bought a dining room table and four chairs several years ago from Atomic Threshold.  The set was used about a dozen times as we rarely entertain.  We recently moved and started to use the set again.  One of the chair legs broke horizontally just below the seat.  We called Christian Boehr in May 2020, explained the break and asked if the chair could be repaired or replaced.  He asked us to send a photo of the chair and the break, which we did.  We called, texted and emailed and never heard back.  We were surprised to be "ghosted".

Flexsteel has its own detailed warranty and since we've never had a good extended warranty experience in the last thirty years (auto, appliances, electronics etc.) we feel like rolling the dice and paying for any repairs would offset the high price of the extended warranty offered. I have to say the shopping experience at Living spaces was the best of all other furniture stores we visited. There was no pressure and delivery was on time and exceptional. I recently moved into a new place and needed some new furniture, so I decided to come back and shop here again. We found a couch we really liked and purchased it, but when delivery day came, it wouldn't fit through our doorway. Now, I understand some of that responsibility falls on me. However, we specifically discussed the measurements with the salesperson before making the purchase. Instead of asking follow up questions or helping us determine whether the couch would actually fit, he seemed more interested in closing the sale. He never asked about doorway clearance, access, or any of the things that ultimately became a problem. As a result, we got stuck paying a delivery fee for a couch that couldn't even make it into the house. What frustrated me most is that this felt completely avoidable. A good salesperson should be helping customers avoid expensive mistakes, not creating them. After that mess, we had to go back and pick out another couch. This time we worked with a younger guy with glasses and the difference was night and day. He asked all the right questions, listened to our concerns, and gave us recommendations that actually worked for our space. Five stars for him. The furniture quality itself is still good, which is why I keep coming back. One thing I would skip though is the extended warranty. I purchased it on furniture from my previous home and never ended up using it before it expired. Overall, I like the products here, but the service is definitely hit or miss depending on who helps you. Unfortunately, one bad salesperson ended up costing me time, money, and a lot of unnecessary frustration.

I have been missing Bed Bath and Beyond after they closed a few years ago. Wished I knew about At Home earlier because this location is so close to where I live. They should have advertised more! I know so many people that would love this store. We would have been regulars here and try to keep them out of chapter 11! At Home has taken over the building that housed the old Sears Auto Center on Foothill and Michillinda Avenue in Pasadena. It opened about 2 years ago. Ample parking in front. Most items are at 10% off. Halloween items are at 35% off. A lot of bedding stuff like sheets and comforters are at 25%. Some pillows are 50% off. If you are looking for a bargain, go to the very middle part of the store for their clearance tables. There are two big tables of various items in clearance. This is still early on in its liquidation. The employees were so friendly and helpful. What a shame that I didn't know about this place earlier. We need pillows for our new couch so I will checking back later.

The room is pretty big so thought there was going to be a lot of good stuff. Looking around the place it became quickly apparent that this stuff is really just overstock stuff. Sitting in the chairs and feeling the fabric of the furniture you can tell the quality is somewhat lower which is reflected in the prices. After walking around for a few minutes we decided to leave. The prices are good but the stuff just seems disposable. Like you just replace them every year. We just didn't find anything worthwhile and the social media post was obviously an exaggeration and just had to pass. Only go if you want low prices over quality. But we had to pass.

I have a Total Design Furniture rocking chair that was made in 2013…read more This chair completely broke during a move- and it's because of how this rocking chair was built. They used lifting weights that were TIED into the bottom of the rocking chair, instead of using the special furniture weights that get bolted into the frame. I cannot even believe the shoddy work of cutting corners that was done. The chair now completely tilts backwards. What should I do? Should I try to fix this between nursing sessions? Should I junk this? I'm flabbergasted with this. Rocking chairs last generations. Not this one.
