But what they did for me recently went so far above and beyond, it felt like old-school 1950s legendary integrity--the kind of human decency you just don't see with companies anymore.While working a temporary job out of state, I had to run back to Washington with my trailer. During the trip, I missed a wide turn and completely bent my trailer axle. It was 4:05 PM on a Friday, and I was scheduled to haul it back out of state the very next morning. Frantic, I called Torklift, and they told me to come right in. Getting caught up in rush-hour traffic, I called back to tell them I'd be four minutes late--which was after closing time. Instead of locking up, they told me they would wait. Nobody does that anymore.When I arrived, DJ and Keegan moved mountains to help me. Initially, they were completely booked out for a week. I was beside myself with stress because I absolutely had to be back at my new job Monday morning. DJ and Keegan were incredibly kind, empathetic, and understanding. They managed to squeeze me into the schedule for first thing Monday morning.I arrived Monday at opening and waited. We were all at the mercy of the parts delivery team, which didn't drop off the components until mid-day. The absolute second those parts arrived, Foreman Brandon and his mechanic Chris raced to work, thrashing to fix my trailer as fast as humanly possible. Senior Foreman "Eagle-eye" Johnny masterfully coordinated every single step of the workflow, flawlessly running the shop and managing multiple other clients at the same time. The entire team rallied together, going completely out of their way to get me back on the road. Because of their absolute tenacity, I was able to roll out of there a few minutes before closing that same day.I could never truly repay this team for their immense kindness. They didn't just operate as a business; they showed up as a team of genuinely good human beings trying to help out another person in a bind. They treated me like royalty. Why the heck do they schedule an appt for it to just sit there!!! Their response when I complained was I could Come get it once it's diagnosed and take it home and bring back when the parts are in. . WTHeck? Hey Valley RV. How about you schedule vehicles in a similar manner as any other repair shop. This is such a shawty way of doing business. Unsurprisingly, there's no Airstream dealers in Alaska - go figure. So we planned a trip down to WA & OR as soon as the hub could get a few days off. We went to a dealership in OR, but I was left feeling unsatisfied, and with many unanswered questions after leaving. We saw one other trailer from a private seller, and then decided to drive up to Airstream Adventures, Milton. I gave them a call in case we needed an appointment. I spoke to a most delightful young lady on the phone - yes, I'm talking about you Amanda Cook, who said we didn't need an appointment. We got to the dealership and found Amanda, and she's very professional, very knowledgeable, funny, pretty, and just fun to spend time with. She was super welcoming, extremely professional, she answered all of our myriad questions, and I just love her to bits. Anyway, needless to say, we now have our new trailer. This process was as easy as it was because of Amanda Cook, but i've also got to give honorable mentions to Carrie and Kelsey. The whole place is wonderful. Full access to all the trailers, which were all connected to power, so you could see the features. Not so in the Oregon showroom, which was more like a warehouse. Cold, dark and the trailers were locked. The staff lacked knowledge of the specs I was asking about and I left there feeling frustrated. The Milton showroom however - just beautiful, a nice coffee bar with a Keurig, and a good coffee selection, a fridge with bottled water, nice bathrooms, warm and well lit, very organized showroom. It was an absolute pleasure to spend our afternoon there. And we've had occasion to have to call back a few times, and you might think that after the sale is done, the customer service might be "less than" but that hasn't been the case. Amanda Cook is epic. She never seems like she's sick of taking my calls, and I've needed to call a few times. I have no hesitation in recommending this business. They fully earned their 5 stars.

Last spring/2025 we bought off the shelf a stock "cam only" replacement from the Portland store. It was supposed to pair up with our old monitor no prob, :( the counter fella was unaware the wireless-frequencies, cam-monitor, had changed from 2019-2025. Bryan at the Milton location got us into a new superior back up cam system. Matt in their service sector took the time to walk over and give us some helpful tips for install. May not seem worthy of a review but,, after this many years/experiences with Airstream,,, I'm gonna tell you that it's the little things that matter most sometimes. We had a lot of probs in past with long waits on service/repairs when the dealership was under a different ownership at the Auburn location. Because of that I had to learn to fix things myself,, which is usually about a 50/50 lol. Especially electrical. Customer service like that/ boosted confidence for future repairs or upgrades at the Milton location. PS Pic quality/features Brand-motion Cam system are "awesome". To their credit, a Khaotik employee admitted it in writing within days, and the shop said they'd cover the repair. Working from that, I gave them a preliminary number -- $1,400, averaged off two quick visual estimates. They then asked me to get a finalized estimate, so I did. Later that month they put it in writing that they would cover the cost of the repair. The finalized estimate came back just under $2,000, because an actual inspection turned up work no walkaround was going to find. They then declined to pay the finalized estimate they had requested, and sent a check for the preliminary figure instead. I declined the check. The rest of the job had its own problems: wrong bracket kit ordered after I supplied the correct part links, rear fender liners never installed, front liners installed wrong, an agreed tire rotation skipped, and a late return that cost me rideshare fares. I sued in small claims. I didn't appear at the mediation and the case was dismissed, and I've decided not to take it any further -- they weren't going to pay what was agreed, and it stopped being worth the effort. As a result, I'm out $2k on this in damages. I'm not asking them for anything. Posting because I'd have wanted to read it first.
