It is non-existent in Northern California, so I basically drove here straight from the airport. The 32-seat shop is clean and basic, with a friendly proprietor who knows his customers and asks about their families. The chicken roti was huge and delicious. I ate the whole thing, after thinking about skipping dinner because I wasn't hungry. The slightly spicy, peppery curry sauce brought everything together: big chunks of boneless (white meat, unfortunately) chicken, potatoes, chickpeas, carrots, and plantains.
