My son brought our Bernadoodle in to be groomed, and they convinced him that he was matted and required a summer cut. My son reluctantly agreed, and they completely shaved him. To do a summer cut requires no finesse in grooming, and they charged me $189 for a cut that took less than 15 minutes that is no different than a farmer shearing his lambs. Here is a picture of what matted hair looks like, and pictures of my dog before his summer cut. If you look at his summer cut, check out his ears and tail, you can see they did take the time to brush out. Which means they were too lazy to accommodate us. I also pointed out to them that when I brought him there last year, they were accommodating to my request of a trim and could pull up the record on their system. They made the excuse that they couldn't do it because their system was in transaction mode. I question their integrity because they used to list the prices of the services they provided. Now they can subjectively name their prices. I expressed my concerns, and this group of employees quickly dismissed me, saying my pet was a big dog, therefore it cost more, no bigger than my Huskies, which I paid far less for grooming. If you have experienced this type of customer service, stand your ground and demand that they meet your needs/desires for your pet's grooming. What happened to that friendly family atmosphere?

Both of my dogs have always HATED being bathed and having their nails trimmed. It has been a constant struggle in my house. I've always done it myself, ending up with water everywhere and me in tears. A friend had suggested I try a groomer... A groomer? I have two very large pitties, taking them to a groomer never crossed my mind! She told me to call Justin Broughtman, owner of Justin-In-Time Pet Grooming. She said guess what? He's mobile. Really?? Yes! I am a super busy mom with 3 young kids... Perfect! So I called him Tues morning and he was able to fit me in the next day. Justin was amazing with my dogs from the moment he walked in the backyard. You can tell he loves what he does and truly has a compassion for animals. He brought them each treats (running it by me first) and was professional and caring throughout his visit with us. Like I mentioned, I have three kids. I'm busy.
