They were here for over 3 hours which included the time they left to allegedly get Freon. Nothing was resolved, they then sent an estimate that other companies advised me were unreasonable. Attempts to discuss this estimate have as of now not been fruitful. I called this morning at around 10:30 to try to get some clarification & reached a full voicemail. A follow up text advising of same was met for a request that I be called. As of 7:00 nobody has reached out to me & that seems not the least bit shady. I would recommend at this point doing business with literally any other business & the more I think about this the more of a scam this seems. I'm further convinced this is not a legitimate business because they wanted to charge me for a part that was completely unnecessary & gave me the wrong estimate. It really seems like this businesses is just trying to take advantage of people. I implore anyone considering this company to stay far away. I guess their satisfaction guarantee is a joke too because the owner is only willing to refund the money they were paid unless this review is taken down. That sounds pretty unprofessional in my opinion.

But the job they did deserves recognition. Among the many people worth a shout-out: designer Chaya Uzan whose enthusiasm and ideas gave us a sense that our project was quite special; and Robbie Goldberg, our day-to-day contact and project manager, who brought a craftsman's eye to all aspects of the job. When problems were encountered, problems were fixed. An example: once we installed a new oven in the kitchen we realized that we would have to do without a favorite built-in spice cabinet. Robbie came up with ingenious fix requiring some custom carpentry so that the spice rack did not disappear but became an integral of the whole. Anthony, our renovation expert, was our first contact with A to Z. He encouraged us not to give up on what we wanted the project to look like even though other renovators had told us it was impossible to do. He also offered to answer any questions we might have along the way. Then there's Shevy, the permit and insurance coordinator. She dealt with the necessary paperwork and kept the inspectors at bay so we did not have to deal with those headaches. And last but not least, Mario, the site manager, who was there every day, hands-on, always professional and pleasant. On that note, the entire team seemed to like one another and treated us and each other with a refreshing degree of decency and consideration. To summarize: The team at ATOZ was thoroughly professional and kept us informed with clear, consistent communication every step of the way. Importantly, the team worked efficiently to stay on schedule and were fair when an unexpected issues arose, providing clear solutions. The final result is exceptional, and the quality of work exceeded our expectations. We would not hesitate to recommend ATOZ to anyone.

Bad experience with this company. Very sloppy work. Taking on tasks they clearly are not good or…read moreversed in. Walter assured us he knows all, but at the end super sloppy unknowlegable. No attention to detail, everything is uneven - doors do not shut properly as were hung uneven. Molding - horrific! Cannot cut straight, so they slapped a ton of paint and caulk to cover the uneven angles. Tile is not flat, but bulges out all over the place... The list goes on.. To top it all of - ruined outdoor furniture cleaning the cement off the containers with the hose. Cement splatter all over and it does not waah off. Not to mention the fact that the site was never cleaned up. The front of the house had material and debris that Walter said was going to be taken care off. Once paid - never heard back from the guy.
