I wish it weren't because we have so many local places, but this food is always fresh and made with such care and precision that it has become my go-to place. It was our first time ordering from Kale Me Crazy and I'm sad to say that I was not able to eat the kale salad I ordered because it had ground up cilantro mixed in it. It didn't say anything about having cilantro in the ingredients so for me that very frustrating. I'm one of those people who can't stand the taste of cilantro and so it ruined the meal for me. Delicious!! I had the tuna wrap on a gluten free wrap, açaí bowl, and beetroot latte. The wrap was a good size with a perfect ratio of tuna and condiments. Açaí bowl was tasty and what you'd expect from an açaí bowl. This was my first time having a beetroot latte and I can't wait to make it at home! It tasted like a pastry in a drink. I only mention that because i try to tell it as i see it. At my age, i can be honest with no worries. So, we ordered. Paid. Sat down, then looked at the reviews of Kale Me Crazy. Seldom if ever have i seen a restaurant with a 5 star average with over 50 reviewers. I was suspicious. Let me assure you, after being served, Kale Me Crazy deserves this rating. Really cute place. I really really loved my chicken pesto wrap! It was delicious and it was a big enough servings that I was able to save and eat the other half the next day. My boyfriend got the Chicken Caesar Wrap which wasn't as good as the pesto wrap, the kale confused us and there was too much Kale and not enough of the other ingredients. We also got the Hummus, it was really good, especially with the green flatbread. Also, this place has a nutrition label for all of their items which is SO SO SO helpful!
