I have been on an açaí bowl kick, honestly would eat them every day if I had the chance so I gave this location a try. The staff was attentive and seemed happy to be there! I started with a digestive shot (ginger based) that packed a punch and made me feel like a WINNER! The display needed a little attention, but it was after lunch and they seemed pretty cleaned out. The Wellness shot contains ginger, oil of oregano, garlic extract, turmeric, cayenne, & lemon. Take it quickly! Don't think about it, just take it! Your soul will be on fire for a few seconds but it's worth it. Parking: I usually walk to this location but there is ample parking in the area. Location: Super convenient off of 285 at S. Atlanta Rd. Well I've been cheating myself! I ordered online via the app simply because it seemed pretty easy. The order: Deluxe Açaí Bowl and I added peanut butter. It came w/ Bananas, granola, chia seeds, hemp seeds, goji berries, sliced almonds, blueberries, & raw honey. It sounds overly sweet but it was just right. I probably would've preferred a little more granola but it's only because I like my crunch ratio high lol. The portion size was plentiful. Every time I patron this establishment, the woman at the register always greets me with a smile. She is kind and is knowledgeable about the menu. The food is always made fresh, which is a plus. I frequent kale me crazy often but was very disappointed at the smoothie received from this location. It is supposed to be a smoothie however it was given as a liquified drink. I asked why it was not thick and they stated they could add more ice however that just watered it down. I am giving 3 stars solely based on the unfriendliness of the staff. It makes no sense to walk into a healthy place to eat & get bad/negative vibes. I should have just gone to Five Guys where the service/staff is friendly but the food is not so healthy. When I walked in there was no one up front. There were a couple of customers eating & 1 was waiting for his order. I guess he had a big order b/c the lady in the back came out to let him know it would be a few more minutes. He ended up walking out. I guess he came back later for his order. I don't know why this place has a lower rating. I came here, trying to make a healthier decision for lunch and it didn't disappoint. I had the chicken pesto wrap grilled. Came in on a Sunday early afternoon. Not busy at all. This was my first time here. They have juices, smoothies, wraps, salads, poke bowls and avocado toast. I tried the vegan wrap. Not because I'm a vegan. I just like trying different things and sometimes I like to eat a really healthy meal after a good workout. It was so good. I could taste every ingredient and it had just the right amount of everything. kale, quinoa, cabbage, carrots, pickled red onions, avocado and hummus wrapped in a spinach tortilla and served with tahini sauce. No nutritional yeast that most vegan places like to add to their food. It was delicious. If ur looking for something really nutritious, fresh and tasty this is it. Kale Me Crazy offers all the "healthy" stuff like smoothies, acai bowls, salads, wraps, juices, poke bowls, and others. One thing I found out is that if you're an Orange Theory Fitness member, you can get a discount here. That's pretty cool. The service is friendly but slow. They took forever to get our orders. I'm not sure why a smoothie will take 15 minutes to spin up. Maybe they had to chop up all the fresh fruits? I don't know. Their smoothie was tasty though. I tried their Power House which has avocado, blueberries, strawberries, cherries, cashews, flax seeds, almond milk, vegan protein. It was sweet and delicious. Too bad I waited so long to get it. I also tried their Protein bowl. It was not impressive. I would avoid it and get it at a "real" poke place. It didn't have much flavor and looked boring. I haven't tried their acai bowls. But they looked all right, and I'll try them next time. I hope they're better than their Poke bowls. However, I think the best thing to get here are their smoothies. read more

I'm struggling. I won't even make this long bc I'm frustrated, but I think in 2021 in the middle of a surge in a pandemic, I just want the person who makes my food to wear their mask on their face. I watched this woman make 3 açaí bowls with her mask on her chin. One of them was mine. I zoomed in to make the photo so it may seem like I'm closer than I am, I but didn't want to yell from the front of the store into the kitchen to ask her to put her mask on. Plus, her co-workers walked by her multiple times and didn't tell her to. She was even talking to people in the back who clearly know their protocol, so I felt, why make a scene and they don't care. I kept trying to talk myself down but anyone who has ever made an açaí bowl knows you gotta look down the blender to use your spoon to get the rest out of the bottom and I watched her do that breathing inches away from my food. I basically wasted $15 not to embarrass this woman but this isn't ok and you guys need to understand this. I can understand forgetting but the moment she finished she put the mask on to walk and bring them out in an effort to (in my opinion) make it seem like she'd been wearing it... only to realize that I had been staring at her the whole time. 2 stars solely because I waited 45 minutes for a bowl of hummus. Absolutely ridiculous. They take forever to fill a single order.

1: waited 35 minutes for a 10$ açaí bowl. 2: when it finally lazily walked out of the kitchen it was a bowl of açaí soup with a sprinkle of granola and 5 pieces of Bananna on top. The ratio of açaí (literal liquid, the whole giant bowl was FILLED with açaí liquid) to granola and fruit was so incredibly disproportionate that I sent it back and asked for a refund and went to get a nasty burger from next door instead. What the actual f. Train your employees to actually work, and please don't pass off this nasty, awkward bowl of açaí gazpacho with granola garnish as a fruit and granola açaí bowl. Posted is the leftover of what my girlfriend could actually eat, she is vegan and couldn't find anything else nearby to eat and decided to just suck it up. She clears her plate always but hated this. I initially found this restaurant when investigating some vegan choices while visiting with a dear friend who currently lives in Jackson MS. We both thoroughly enjoyed our food selections immensely. We looked for several other places but none compared!! As I was doing the research for more vegan places I noticed that were lots of KALE ME CRAZY in the Atlanta area where I now reside, with several very close to me. Today I chose to stop by the Smyrna location and more pleased than my first visit. I was met with a most welcoming smile (even behind the mask I could 'FEEL' the smile).
