    *Avocado Toast**Chicken BLT on Ciabatta*

First time trying the chicken ciabatta here and it was amazing. Definitely give it a try regardless of brunch or lunch - it was so delicious!

A regular colleague collaboration stop for me. The staff here are knowledgeable and kind. WiFi is very fast. Today I had their specialty bergamot latte and my complaint was that the sweetener was not well dispersed in the drink. The top was quite bitter and the sweetener clearly sank down to the bottom of the drink.

This Kaldi's Coffee location is very convenient for me since it's just a short walk from work. I love to stop by here for a drink and bite to eat, and my favorite breakfast item is the egg bagel sandwich. So tasty! It can get pretty busy during a rush, but the wait is always worth it for me. There's so many drink combinations and seasonal specials, so it feels like there's something new to try each time. I always feel welcomed by the friendly staff, and I love the warm and cozy ambiance especially on chilly winter days.

In Saint Louis for the week, staying at the adjacent hotel and working in the adjacent tower, I have found my coffee shop. Super chill vibe, lots of food and baked options and of course, fantastic coffee. With classic crooners playing softly, I ordered a cortado and opted not to try any of the delicious looking muffins. Maybe tomorrow if there aren't bagels in the office. A few moments later, my coffee was ready. This is what a cortado should be. Served in a short glass, half espresso and half steamed milk. And then, served precisely the way coffee should be - with a second glass of bubbly water and if you look in the spoon, there are two chocolate-covered espresso beans. What? Yes. There is street parking nearby and there are paid parking decks nearby. Fortunately, I'm on foot. [Review 19912 overall - 249 in Missouri - 885 of 2023.]

Loved, loved, loved this Kaldi's! Every Kaldi's location has its own little charm and this one is definitely one of my faves. Stopped in on a Saturday morning and they were busy but we found a place to sit, ordered and quickly got our food and drinks. We ordered morning bowl and the prosciutto and mozzarella sandwich so good! We left feeling very full and caffeinated. Sweet staff and great vibes!

Kaldi's will always have a special place with me! Their matcha lattes are not too sweet, while their breakfast sandwich is the perfect amount of savory. The Clayton location specifically has top tier customer service.

I was recently in St Louis for a work trip and I stopped at Kaldi's every morning for coffee and breakfast! By far my favorite latte I've had in a while and I'll definitely be back on my next trip to St Louis. I ended up placing my order using their mobile ordering feature and both drinks and food were done earlier than expected and pickup was easy. Tons of seating was available and parking was easy on the street.

First let's talk espresso..I don't want to say I know my beans but I do know my beans..and this place delivers! Let's talk service and friendliness..they nail both! Been coming here every day for almost 3 weeks and Hve had nothing but positive and friendly service. I would recommend ordering thru Yelp on busy times if you do not want to wait or are short on time. Great cozy spot and just all around great vibes. Super clean and just a nice spot to sip coffee alone or with a friend.

    Delicious!

This one did, so I walked over from the restaurant where we were after lunch. This is a very pleasant shop with lots of available seating. It just has a rather modern look, and it was very nice and clean. I came up to talk to a friendly barista. The pour over menu was a bit confusing because there wasn't a lot of information directly on the menu, I asked about one pour over because I had never tried a bean of that origin before. She had good things to say about it, but she said that, if I wanted something fruity or floral to try Haro Wachu from Ethiopia. It was as if she read my mind because I had been wanting to try a natural processed Ethiopian. I'm really glad I took her suggestion! It was one of the best cups of coffee I've ever tried. I didn't taste so much of a note of fruit in it, but I still loved it! I made sure to make a note of what it was in case I have room for more beans at home and want to order it. So, I do wish it was easier to tell what each pour over was in the menu (They have a lot at reasonable prices!). However, I left there thoroughly impressed with the coffee. If you are out on Delmar Loop, they are definitely worth visiting.

But why would you want to eat food from a coffee shop? I've been visiting coffee shops on the reg for the past several weeks, and I've repeatedly made the mistake of ordering breakfast sandwiches, burritos and what have you. I have no one to blame for this but myself. I knew going in that it wasn't a good idea. I just couldn't help myself. This must be how people end up on drugs. There was a race going on nearby, when I visited 23 West yesterday. I wasn't involved, though I was there in a running capacity. My running group just happened to be meeting there. We ran a few miles in the neighborhood before our visit. By the time we got there, there was quite a crowd. The contrast between the sweaty, disheveled runners and the sleek, modern decor was striking. This place has an interior like some showroom where you're pressured into taking out a high-interest loan to purchase jewelry of questionable provenance. Are they in cahoots with the bank next door? Both buildings, I notice, have a similar facade. 23 West is painted the same shade of gray as a post-McPlayPlace-era McDonald's, when they started trying to look like a Chipotle. Some girls on apps prefer it if you didn't take them to get coffee. It's not expensive enough. If you can get one to agree to such a date, you might consider bringing them here. It's classy. The coffee is good too. I went with the Raspberry Cheesecake Cold Brew, a seasonal item. It was magnificent. I ordered mine to-go, so I could enjoy it at the tables out front, and in case 12 showed up. They give it to you in a tall plastic cup with no lid, filled to the point where it's nearly impossible to carry without spilling, presumably so you can sample the delicious cheesecake-like froth and probably get a little bit of it in your mustache. You can't really sip it with a straw. The coffee itself is surprisingly robust, given the depth of the raspberry flavor. It's an odd idea for a drink, and not something I'd usually order, but the execution was on point. I also went with a Cherry Almond Scone. I had to eat something, for emotional reasons, and it looked interesting. I'm no expert on scones, but I enjoyed it. It may have been the most dense baked good I've ever eaten, to the point where it could probably be used as a weapon, in a pinch. I know it's supposed to be similar to a biscuit and that in England, where they're consumed on the reg, a biscuit is known as a cookie (why?). It's a lot dryer than even the biscuits at a Lee's Famous Recipe, but intentionally so, I guess because it's designed to be eaten with a beverage. A hot beverage is probably ideal, but I made it work with a cold brew. It's the kind of thing you don't realize until after the fact. Next time I'll know. If and when I do return, I'll be dressed as a magician, possibly with a young lady in tow.
