I actually work near here and have looked at it a few times, but never really made my way over there so today I went ahead and took a trip. It was a little windy outside so perfect day to try something warm, I opted for the vanilla latte. First, I would like to highlight how clean it was inside and pretty cozy for a coffee shop as it should be. The staff was very friendly and the barista was extremely nice and very pretty. The vanilla latte was very good and they had several other things. I would like to try like the seasonal orange chocolate drink. I'm not big on hot drinks yet but I'm getting there so I'll be trying that before the season is over. Anyway, if you're in the area, I advise you to stop by and grab a drink or food. The coffee shop offered a small selection of non-vegetarian and vegetarian options. I decided to indulge in their Belgian waffles. I wasn't sure they'd be enough, so I also grabbed a premade Mini Greek Yogurt Parfait. To complement my food, I ordered a latte. The menu described the waffles as Belgian waffles, but they were quite different from the fluffy Belgian waffles I'm familiar with. These waffles had a crispy exterior and a slightly sweetened interior, more like Liege waffles. While one container of maple syrup would have been sufficient, I requested two. The waffles were so over-saturated with syrup that every bite had a taste of maple. The mini parfait was surprisingly large and would have sufficient as a light breakfast on its own. Instead of mixing the honey into the yogurt first, I topped the granola on the yogurt, which made it difficult to incorporate the honey. The latte was refreshing. Instead of risking the drink spilling over the mug, I opted for a takeout cup. Once I covered it, it was convenient to carry it to the table. read more

Cute location at DeMun, it's tight and not a place I would bring my laptop to work as there are tiny tables, minimal outlets and seating inside. The homemade vanilla latte is the go-to along with the small protein bites. Price is typical for a craft coffee shop and friends were please with "real" espresso lol. Kaldi's is well lit, comfortable and it has lots of outlets to keep laptops running. We split a Bagel Sandwich and a Grain Bowl. Both were delicious. The Grain Bowl had a lovely sauce. In Saint Louis for the week, staying at the adjacent hotel and working in the adjacent tower, I have found my coffee shop. Super chill vibe, lots of food and baked options and of course, fantastic coffee. With classic crooners playing softly, I ordered a cortado and opted not to try any of the delicious looking muffins. Maybe tomorrow if there aren't bagels in the office. A few moments later, my coffee was ready. This is what a cortado should be. Served in a short glass, half espresso and half steamed milk. And then, served precisely the way coffee should be - with a second glass of bubbly water and if you look in the spoon, there are two chocolate-covered espresso beans. What? Yes. I was recently in St Louis for a work trip and I stopped at Kaldi's every morning for coffee and breakfast! By far my favorite latte I've had in a while and I'll definitely be back on my next trip to St Louis. There was surprisingly no bitter taste and it wasn't too sweet. The 12 oz cup with oat milk was a bit pricey. It was almost $8 with tip. The food menu could use some work and was small. They had your typical muffins and breakfast sandwiches, but nothing on their food menu was unique or differentiated itself from other coffee shops. Street parking was a bit scarce but they do have a garage across from the store. The ambiance inside is great for conversation with others. I was super excited to try Kaldi's whike visiting STL since I hadn't had it before, and I'm an absolute coffee fanatic. I visited on Sunday morning and it wasn't crowded at all. I looked at the menu and decided on the seasonal iced brown sugar rosemary latte, which was absolutely phenomenal. The hint of rosemary made the coffee drink so unique, and I couldn't get enough of it! The staff was friendly and I got my drink pretty quickly. I loved the drink so much that I decided to visit again the next day. It was very busy the second time around and the parking situation was stressful since all the street parking was unavailable. I almost said forget it and thought about just going somewhere else, but the unique brown sugar rosemary latte made me stick in there! I ordered the same drink again and a drink for my husband. The wait time was a little longer which I expected since they were more crowded than they were my first visit. Upon receiving my drinks I asked for a coffee stopper to keep my husband's coffee hot, and to prevent spills in my car during my commute home but I was told they ran out. After getting back to my car in the rain, I took a sip of the drink I was craving! I was given the short stick this time around because the rosemary goodness that I anticipated did not exist in my latte, which was very disappointing. I was given just a brown sugar latte minus the special rosemary ingredient. I didn't want to walk back in the rain and have to wait in the long line to have it corrected. My husband had to microwave his coffee when I got home which was not ideal, but he said it was still yummy! The morning coffee is important for sure, and expensive as heck! I just wish Kaldi's was consistent. I knew how good my latte was during my first visit, but didn't get the same amazing drink the second time around, which I was sad about. read more

Stopped here before getting back on the road to Indianapolis after a wonderful wedding weekend! We needed some decent hangover food and coffee to survive the drive. I asked the barista if I should go with the breakfast burrito or sandwich. He said both were great but he typically gets the burrito. There wasn't a description of the burrito on the board but figured it had to be great. While it was good, I wish I would have known there were sweet potatoes in it. Not what I was craving while being hungover. If this had been a typical morning I'm sure I would have loved it. Overall great service and cute spot. One of my favorite places to have a latte in St. Louis. This Kaldi's location is also one of the nicest ones, with plenty of seating and a clean, cozy environment. Kaldi's coffee and espressos on their own are bold, slightly bitter, and packed with caffeine. I mean, how else are goats and goat-herders supposed to stay awake? (See side inscription of one of their white cups for details.) I think that's what makes their lattes so balanced. Robust from the arabica, but mellowed out with milk. Piping hot and luxuriously foamy. Perfect for relaxing on a cold weather day. Came here on a quiet Friday morning around 8AM. Was slow when I got there but picked up as I was leaving. This is my favorite Kaldi's location in St. Louis for it's atmosphere and service. I've been to more than a handful of Kaldi's (in and outside of stl) and this one has had the best customer service by far! Parking can be tough on a busy week day, but there is a parking garage right next to Kaldi's (I recommend that over the street parking that never has any spots). This Kaldi's location is nicely decorated and is the perfect size. Like usual, it's ALWAYS busy, but I've never struggled to find a place to sit. The chocolate croissant is SO delicious and the drip coffee is pleasant (not the best coffee I've ever had, but close to the top of my list). Kaldi's Coffeehouse has admirable values (and sustainability mission) and will always be one of my favorite coffee shops :) read more
