My friend decided she would host a paint and sip party in her home for her most recent birthday…read more We were given the choice of 2 different paintings, and both were demonstrated and taught so that not everyone had to make the same picture. There was approximately 15 ladies in our group and of that 15 I am easily the least artistic of the bunch. I chose my picture, and was skeptical about the results I would have. Dottie did a great job of explaining each step to the group (for 2 different paintings) as we went along. The whole process took 2.5-3 hours. She was patient with my questions (I had lots) and was willing to come over and help me one-on-one when I was struggling with a particular step. I had so much fun painting and sipping wine all afternoon. I am proud to say that my finished painting actually looks like the painting I selected and will get hung up on display somewhere in my house! This party was such a fun, creative way to get the girls together to celebrate and at the end of the day we all had a beautiful painting to take home to help us remember the occasion--definitely worth the $35 price tag--and I can't wait to do this again!

Unbelievable experience with Dottie. I wanted a painting to be made as a gift for my boyfriend's…read morebirthday. It was just a loose idea, and I need someone to help with executing it and didn't know where to start. When I looked up a few artists in the area, I found Dottie's website and loved the work I saw. I reached out to her, and felt so confident she was the right person just by taking to her. She is so pleasant and communicates well. She offered to help me with learning to paint/painting this gift myself, but because I wouldn't be in town, she happily painted what I needed on my canvas and had it ready before the deadline. The painting turned out INCREDIBLE! I am blown away by her talent, and her ability to put what I imagined onto a canvas. I can't tell you how much I trust this woman to execute a painting, and be honest about how it will turn out. Thank you so much, Dottie!

I was doing some research on birthday parties for 9 year olds and I came across this Studio. My…read moredaughter loves Art and crafty things and I thought that this would be a very cute and different idea. I was looking to get away from the bouncy parties and the huge crowds. Studio 60 was absolutely terrific. The studio is bright and airy and it is in a cute little house. My daughter got to pick one painting to do and it was very difficult for her to pick one because they have a variety of paintings to choose from. The party was scheduled from 12:30 to 2:30. I provided food and cake and the studio provided me with juice boxes, water, paper plates and napkins. The kids had a blast, they all got to take their master piece home and my daughter got to take a canvas with all of her guests hand prints on it. The birthday party was a success, it was very different from the other parties we have had, it was laid back and relaxing. They played kids bop music in the background while the artists painted, at one point the girls made it into a dance party. I am extremely happy with the service that was provided to me and my daughter. They provide classes throughout the month, they have a calendar online and they offer adult classes too. I will be back to do an adult paint night. Thank you Studio 60 on Main for making my 9 year old very happy.

This window has been in my family for 50 years now. It was in my house when I was growing up and…read morehas moved with me twice. I had installed it into my present house and my wife and I enjoyed looking at it every time we walked into our bedroom. Last year I noticed the glass was coming out of the leading holding it together. Upon further investigation I realized that the wood frame was rotted on the outside causing the issue. The glass was literally sinking out of the frame. After searching the internet I stumbled across Art Glass and Studio. I'm sure glad I did. Lawrence (Law) was a pleasure to work with! He was honest and realistic about his timeframe for assessing the situation and actually getting the work started and finished. I really appreciated that he let us know that he is a busy guy handling a number of projects at the same time but would give our window his utmost attention when our time came. He gave us plenty of options for the repairs working with our budget and suggesting different methods for reinstallation of the window. The option we chose was to make the window a decorative piece instead of an actual permanent window. That way if we move again or our children want the window to stay in the family after we're gone it will be easier to move it to the next place. When it came time for our window to be worked on, I removed it from our house (my choice to save money) and took it over to his shop. Law started on it and kept us informed as to how it was going. Once started, he finished it quickly and it looks great! In this day and age of "bait and switch" it was such a pleasure to work with someone who actually does what he says and does great work. This window was built around 1870 and thanks to Art Glass and Studio (Law) it should have another 150 years of in it. I highly recommend them
