I received a call from the manager, Ali Smyth, early the next morning. She proceeded to give me information about cost for repair and recommended a full inspection of my vehicle. This service totaled over $800, and could potentially be in the thousands after labour/extra parts for issues that have not yet been determined. I explained that I was not interested in a full inspection and only wanted a new belt and the gear shifter inspected. Ali became irate. She raised her voice to me, interrupted me while I was speaking and was overall rude to me on the phone. I asked to speak to another staff member and she refused. She said, "I am the manager, so you will speak to me." I did not request to speak to the manager, and honestly I would have been happy to speak to anyone else other than her. When I requested to speak to someone else a second time, she hung up the phone on me. I called right back and another staff member answered the phone. We discussed the conversation between Ali and I. I explained that I only wanted the belt replaced on my vehicle with no other work to be completed. I came to Napa Auto to pick up my vehicle the same day (Aug 18 /23). The staff member at the counter and I spoke about my conversation with Ali. I said that I would give her the opportunity to apologize if she felt inclined to do so. The staff member went in the back to speak to her about it, but returned saying she was no longer in the building and wouldn't be returning until much later. I have not received an apology or a follow-up call from Ali. In the end, I was charged $295.01 for a new belt. Due to this experience, I will not be returning to Napa Auto in Innisfail.

When we took them to another professional tire shop for installation, substantial bead damage was identified and the tires were refused as unsafe to mount. This is a serious safety issue. These tires were intended for a horse trailer, where a blowout on the highway puts both people and animals at risk. Tires in this condition should never be sold. The business denied responsibility and failed to resolve the sale of unsafe tires, demonstrating a clear lack of regard for safety. This review will reflect how the company ultimately chooses to handle this matter.

I just spent a good half hour, as opposed to an annoying half hour, waiting to get a chip in my…read morewindshield fixed. I was SO impressed with the gentleman(Tom), who helped me. I walked in, he greeted me in a very pleasant way and asked to see what needed fixing. He quickly assessed the issue, told me the time it would take, and let me know of the cost. I sat in the waiting room and he went out to the shop to start working on my vehicle. There were more workers in the shop and they all seemed to be focused on their individual tasks while communicating with one another, which is always good to see. The employees were all cleanly dressed and the shop appeared to be clean and organized. As I sat waiting, the phone rang several times and other customers came in. I was incredibly impressed with the way that Tom handled the phone calls, customers and my windshield all within the promised time frame stated at the beginning of my visit! (Ok, so he was a couple of minutes over, but he explained to me that they weren't pleased with the way the fix was going and they were trying something different.) The fix ended up being perfect! I love good customer service and an obviously efficiently run business when I come across one and will let everyone know when that happens. My husband has had work done on the windshield on his vehicle at this shop and was very impressed also. We will recommend any windshield or glass needs to Speedy in Lacombe any day of the week!(except weekends :-))
