On route heading out of town for family vacation, had a flat tire at 4pm on a Friday. Can't drive with temporary spare on fwy. Got to this Kal Tire at 430pm. They had my tire repaired on car by 5pm, when they closed. 5 star primarily since they were honest and great attention to detail. In such situations, shady shops could easily take advantage and say tire not repairable and make have us buy a new tire. Was also able to watch techs from window inside wait room - good transparency. Impressed with their attention to detail including hand torquing. Thank you. read more

Go anywhere but to this location! I got scammed out of a tire and the emblem that came with it. They told me to take it where I bought my tires from after taking the tire off and putting the doughnut on, only thing is they "kept" my tire. I went back and the manager or whatever he was absolutely 100% useless, and told me I drove off with my tire and they don't have it. You know when you walk in somewhere and meet someone so greasy and you know you're being greased over... VOILA Kal Tire Luckakuk! read more

Full disclosure: I have not paid for any products or services from this Kal Tire (yet). This review is purely for the customer service we experienced. Today, I was at Cottonwood Mall with my grandmother. As we got back to her car, I noticed that one of her tires was flat. We drove over to this Kal Tire (which happens to be on the west side of the mall). They were able to take a look at the tire right away. Turned out that the tire was too damaged to patch, but they put on the spare tire for her as well as checked the tire pressure in all her tires. They also checked if they had her tire in stock; they didn't but they helpfully suggested that she check with the local Honda dealership (she drives an Accord). They didn't charge her for the service and we were in and out in less than 10 minutes. I was just glad that I didn't have to change the tire myself. (I've changed a tire before and let's just say that it would have taken me MUCH longer than 10 minutes.) read more

Was driving from Vancouver to Cultus Lake for a weekend getaway and got a flare tire warning. Called my Mini service centre and as there's no Mini here they suggested Kal Tire. Called and spoke with Robert and he was super helpful and booked me in straight away. Took car in right away and to my delight and relief they were able to remove the nail and repair the tire straight away. Did some additional checks on all the tire pressure, brakes and gave me the good news with no charge. So impressed with the incredibly efficient and friendly service and going above and beyond. My car was WELL overdue for servicing. Despite having an appointment later that same day at the dealership, I was anxious about driving several hours on the Coquihalla in order to make the appointment. I stopped in Chilliwack at the Kal Tire near the Cottonwood Mall where a really helpful man named Daniel offered several options for a quick oil change nearby, or suggested he would be able to fit me in immediately for their 45 minute servicing which would cover the same things my own dealership would. I was relieved feeling my car was in such good hands. Daniel was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful and reinforced the fantastic customer service I have experienced at every Kal Tire I've visited, including getting competitive and efficient winter tire pricing at 1830 Marine Drive, North Vancouver and particularly James at the Notre Dame Kal Tire in Kamloops. Really happy and pleased with the awesome customer service at Kal Tire and not only are they friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive; the prices are far and away more reasonable to that of the stealership! Weekend mishap while out of town camping involved one flat tire and a trip to the local Kal Tire. Busy place. They couldn't look at it for a while. When we came back later, the flat had been fixed - for free. Edit to add: Someone pointed out that a free fix might be worth more than 3 stars. I do agree that it might make it a 3.5-star experience. However I am reluctant to give out 4 stars unless I'd actually had an experience in which I paid for service. Flat fixes are relatively cheap for tire places. It is a marketing practice they use in order to encourage you to go back when you need tires or tire service. read more

The service at Kal tire is fantastic. They are always very honest and efficient. We have taken our vehicle in more than once where we were expecting a costly repair. They have thoroughly inspected our vehicle to find nothing major wrong with it, have rotated the tires or done other minor fixes to our vehicle and not charged us. I highly recommend Kal Tire. These guys really came through for me. I highly recommend them for more than just tires. They squeezed me in to install a new belt tensioner. The bill was a lot less than I was expecting. They wouldn't even accept a tip. Awesome people. Good work! read more

I use to go to ken's tire in chilliwack " BUT IT seems like that place is becoming a bit more pricy " so I WENT TO KAL tire with the hope of getting a free tire repair or a good price " I had 2 nails in my tires one in the front and one in the back tire " I got the bill it came to 65 bucks ??? for two flat tires " I wanted to watch and a guy inside the office came out and told me it was a safety concern for me to stand in there shop. Then i GOT A PHONE CALL to ask how was my service " I asked the guy if I answer all your questions do i get a discount and he said no " that ended things " They are not free and not cheap " Take it from me I lived in chilliwack for 42 years . read more
