I have been shopping at Kake Kreations for years. I buy all my supplies to make chocolate, carmel pretzels there. I bought two bags of chocolate wafers a couple days ago. I made my pretzels like I always do and as the chocolate was drying it turned white. I have NEVER had this before. I went into the store to see if they would give me a refund or give me chocolate that wasn't outdated and they refused to help me. They were not helpful and blamed me for the problem, even though I have made these for years with no problem. I will never go back in there. :( read more

As a customer of over five years, I'm extremely disappointed to say I will not be returning. The owner behaved in a RACIST and unprofessional manner after overhearing me speak Spanish on the phone with my mom. She began yelling in broken Spanish and then tried to excuse her behavior when she realized how inappropriate it was. This is completely unacceptable, especially given that many of her employees (super lovely ladies who deserve better) and customers are Hispanic. It's 2026 there is absolutely no excuse for racism, especially in a city as diverse as Los Angeles. Please take the time to reflect and get your principles straight, it's disgusting. read more

Kake Kreations is the place to go for all of your baking, candy making and decorating needs! While I am not a good baker like my mom and sister were, the Food Network inspired me to try to make some chocolate covered goodies and off I went! I mean how hard could it be, right?! I was amazed and wandered through the well organized and huge store! From silicone molds to cookie cutters, melting chocolate wafers, edible glitter...ready made buttercream frostings and beyond which they make on the premises. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly and helped guide me to what I would need to accomplish my goals! I literally had no idea a store like this existed! I looked like a pro walking out and into my kitchen. Now I am not saying everything I made turned out but it wasn't their fault lol! And while I am very organized and neat (spices alphabetical...yadda yadda)...my creations looked like the 5 year old me did it! Chocolate everywhere, the pastry bag didn't cooperate and the pretzels...well that's another story! And you know what?...it was fun to do and the reward was delicious! I go here for all my chocolate decorating needs. They have Merckens chocolate by the bulk in boxes. They have ~1lb bags of different color melts. They also have ~1lb bags of Callebaut callets as well. The staff is friendly and helpful. You can definitely tell there are regulars here by how casual the staff talk with them and address them by name. It has that little shop at the corner vibe which you can't help but visiting. Do not fall for their ready made stuff in their cooler. The dulce de leche is the worst product on there. It doesn't taste like dulce de leche at all. It taste and smells like chemicals seasoned with sugar. I bought a small bag of extra white chocolate melts and I noticed that there was little trash stuck on them. With their large assortment of ingredients and supplies, it seems like almost any sweet baked treat can be kreated, er, created from shopping here. I recently noticed an aisle with numerous cookie cutters. There was nothing generic or uninspired by what was offered. Another aisle has little cake toppers in just about any child's favorite licensed theme. They have ingredients for inside and atop cakes. There are cupcake holders and shelves. If your oven gets use and you know people with a sweet tooth, this is the place. If I had a complaint, it feels a bit cramped in the store with the small aisles. This place is AMAZING..... It is the place TO BE when you need to bake an amazing cake or make chocolates or to learn a new skill, like CAKE DECORATING/CANDY MAKING. I found this place online in October 2018 when looking for baking classes on a Friday and saw they were having a Candy Demo the very next day. Of course I went and and the story just continues and continues and continues. Right after the demo, I immediately signed up for their 8 class session! And get this, its only $45. WOW... what an amazing price. The classes are so welcoming that you just want to go there every single Saturday and decorate cakes with 8-9 other people wanting to do exactly the same thing. It's like Cake Social at Kake Kreations. I've finished my first 7 classes and now I want to sign up for 8 more just so I can continue to enjoy the two hours of fun decorating times.
