Just had the most perfect lazy morning breakfast at George and Onnie's (or Little Flour, whatever…read morethey're calling it now) and I'm still thinking about it hours later. Walked in around 7:30 before the mall got crazy, and the place was chill with that cozy café smell hitting you right away--fresh coffee and baked goods. Ordered the longsilog and wow, the longganisa patty was juicy and garlicky without being too greasy, paired with perfectly sunny-side-up eggs and garlic rice that was spot-on crispy. The atchara on the side cut through everything so nicely. Grabbed their signature ube pandesal French toast on the side because why not, and it was ridiculous--soft, custardy inside with that sweet ube glaze that wasn't overpowering. Coffee was strong and hot, just how I like it. Server was super attentive without hovering, refilled my water before I even asked. For the price, it felt like a steal compared to other spots in the area. Everything tasted fresh and made with care. 100% coming back tomorrow before my flight. If you're anywhere near Newport, don't sleep on this place.

Popped into The Breakfast Club this past weekend for their Friday breakfast buffet, and wow, it hit…read morethe spot perfectly. Got there right around 7:30, snagged a nice window table with morning light pouring in, and dove straight into the spread. They had this killer lineup--garlic rice, longganisa that was juicy and not too sweet, perfectly fluffy scrambled eggs, crispy danggit, and some really good tapa that was tender and full of flavor. The free-flowing coffee kept coming without me even asking, which was clutch. Everything tasted fresh, nothing felt like it was sitting out too long, and the vibe inside is so chill and homey, like you're eating at a friend's place but better. Left feeling full, happy, and already plotting my next visit to try their all-day menu--heard the bibimbap and pancakes are next-level. Solid five stars, hands down.

What better way to start your day than with a breakfast buffet?…read more The Breakfast Club's cozy interior provides the perfect setting for putting things on hold in favor of a warm early morning meal. They have a breakfast buffet every Friday to Sunday which starts at 7 am and ends at 10 am. They don't have a lavish spread of items on the buffet to choose from, but they do have just the right amount of variety to keep your meal from becoming a dull repetition of viands. From my experience, they had breakfast items such as tocino, scrambled eggs, tapa, and fish fillet. They change the choices once in a while, and they have free-flowing coffee as part of the package!! So be early! If you miss the buffet, don't worry! They have lots of a la carte meals that will satisfy you as much as their buffet will.

A visually appealing, opulent cafe replete with trendy Filipino breakfast items. This one is…read morelocated on the ground level of the Century Mall in Poblacion, Makati. The guard will ask you where you are going and will point you down an outside corridor where the cafe is located. The menu here is already eye-catching as it reads like the morning newspaper. I had the *Adobo Sunrise* (php 295) and the *Yin & Yang Champorado* (php 275). The sunrise came with their apparently "famous" adobo flakes which were very much on the dryer side. The "breakfast rice" was also a touch bland even though it looked like it had garlic infused within. The champorado with a swirl of Belgian dark chocolate and white chocolate could arguably be a dessert, but I could also say the same thing about pancakes. The sweet toasted dilis/ dry fish on the side went well with the sweet rice porridge. I couldn't quite force myself to finish the entire meal and I may have lost my appetite after seeing some pernicious critters in the corner mid-meal. In any case, the cafe was decorated prettily and my food items certainly were eye-catching, but they may have missed the mark in taste some.

The service is slightly slow, but whose rushing when one is on vacation. The menu is simple, easy to navigate and looks like your morning news paper. We started our day with a cup of American coffee, we then ordered the Bacon Chicharon, it was crispy but we were not blown away. It was my main entrée, sweet spicy tuyo (served inside a jar) that made the good impression; its a classic salty fish in original sweet and spicy sauce served with fried rice and sunny side egg. it was simply delicious, freshly made and a perfect meal to start a hectic day. While my companion did not really enjoyed his pan cakes (the 'infused butter' tasted sour), I still could see myself dining here again next time!
