I feel the wait is longer than necessary. On this occasion, I scheduled ahead arrived eight minutes early, checked in, completed all my paperwork and paid my co-pay for my scheduled time.  They provide a waitlist view so I could see there was only one other patient in the office at the time. We saw the patient leave and waited another 20 minutes before I was called back.  On the way to the patient room.  Then I waited another 25-30 minutes before the doctor arrived.  He spent less than 10 minutes with me and told me exactly what I expected and provided a prescription. It just seems an hour is an unexpected amount of time to spend to see a healthcare professional when there are no other patients waiting to be seen.. Last time I visited, I thought it was having a heart attack, and I was still forced to wait over 40 minutes before seeing a doctor.  It seems they may need more staff or improved systems to help expedite the patient follow up documentation. I based this on the fact I passed the fellow who would eventually be my doctor sitting at a desk working on notes I presume, as I was taken back to the patient room to wait. Other than that, though, I do like this practice and will return in the future if necessary.

Our daughter came home from daycare with symptoms of an ear infection and we didn't want to wait to go to her regular pediatrician the next day. I was able to book an appointment online very quickly for later that evening. Parking was very easy and the waiting area was clean and uncrowded. My daughter was seen by a nurse practitioner who quickly confirmed the infection and sent a prescription to be picked up at the CVS across the street. We've been back a couple of times since and have had similar experiences. If you have a need for pediatric care outside of our regular pediatrician offices, this beats an ER by quite a bit, especially for small things. It is what it should be, and it's now in our medical provider short list.

We even visited another doctor prior to visiting Dr. Gattu, but the prescribed meds didn't make any difference. Dr. Gattu was very thorough with his examination, extremely patient, and had absolutely wonderful approach with our son. Not only his examination and expertise were on point, but he made sure to educate us on our son's condition, and walked us through the next steps of his treatement. Everything happened the way he said it will. A nurse practitioner from the office followed up with us two days later, to nake sure everything went by the plan. Tomorrow is our telehealth visit. We can't ask for better health service. Thank you Express Pediatrics!

For roughly $2,000 a year I can have access to her cell phone number and a long appointment. I have been a patient with Dr. Menon for almost 25 years. In the beginning, she was an amazing…read moredoctor who genuinely cared about my well being and did a lot of due diligence for me to get to the bottom of some of my issues. I've been a constant patient with at least 2 - 3 appointments a year. The last 6 years, i've noticed that I've seen her less and her nurse practitioner more and more. It got to the point where i had gone YEARS without seeing her. Fast forward to the past month. As i've done for the last 20 years, i made a request for my normal refills. This time, I'm denied because "I'm not a member" I'm down to a week's worth of meds and she denies me. I call her office and found out she had transitioned to concierge medicine and they claim to have given me notice, and they may have, in the form for automated voice mails which i remember getting, and pamphlets, none that explicitly says that i will lose immediate access if i don't sign up. What does signing up entail, 2K/year plus whatever services she charges insurance. So pretty much, I have to pay 2K/year to keep my doctor as well as paying for her services. Not to mention that i'm about out of meds that they refuse to do anything about without me signing up. No temporary refill so i can find a new doctor. Their advice, go to an urgent care center. This is after 20+ years. This left me scrambling to find a new doctor. I had an appointment with her 3 1/2 months before in December and she made no mention of this to me in person. No one at the office said anything except the normal "see you next time". Little did i know at the time, there would be no "next time" I was a little surprised to actually see her, and not her nurse practitioner and I was also a little surprised that I noticed interactions that were reminiscent of how she was before. I guess she was practicing for her new practice. My wife warned me of this. They treated her badly, and she left them for another doctor a year earlier. What happened here? Well, we made an emergency appointment because my wife had a spot in her eye and she was a little concerned. She came in 5 minutes late. They make her pay and then refuse to see her because she was late. We had to go to the ER instead, and discovered she had an ocular stroke. This could have been found out earlier had we been seen, but we were forced to find other services after paying because they claimed we were too late. Prior to this, service was lacking as they constantly said the same thing to her without addressing her concerns. She told them she was in pain, and they did nothing. It was her going to another doctor where she actually got a diagnosis of her pain in about 2 weeks, but in the years she's gone to Dr. Menon, no one bothered.

I was repeatedly told cancer statistics for my age group and convinced that I needed unnecessary tests. I had these repeated over and over again. They always came back normal. Every time I went through the horrible testing, I was told if everything came back normal we'd proceed with treatment. That never happened. I kept trying different doctors and they all did the same thing. I was actually told it was their protocol. At one point, I was encouraged to have an unnecessary hysterectomy and the doctors told me to go on YouTube to research what to expect after surgery. I suspect that they use the word cancer to scare women into unnecessary testing and procedures. I paid for it all out of pocket. I have gotten second opinions and have been told that they can't understand what they were doing to me. I'm fine. I don't need a hysterectomy and I never had cancer. I went through this for 4 1/2 years. I strongly suspect that the doctors at Kaiser are encouraged to scare patients and come up with reasons to do unnecessary testing so they can bill you and make money. I have been traumatized by the doctors at Kaiser and wasted 4 years of my life. Run from Kaiser - it's terrible!!!
