I wish there was less salt so I could actually taste more of the blue cheese and the other flavors. I found myself drinking a lot throughout the meal because of it. I also ordered the cheese fries. I loved the texture of the fries, but again, they were a little too salty for me. Next time, I'd probably order them without the cheese. The first issue was that our name wasn't even put on the waitlist. We stood at the host stand for about five minutes before another hostess came over and asked if we'd been checked in. We told her we'd been standing there the whole time. She entered our name and told us it would be about a 10-minute wait, even though there were still plenty of open tables. The strangest part of the experience was one of the hostesses. While we were quietly standing near the host stand, she repeatedly told us to go sit in the waiting area. There was nobody around us, we weren't blocking the entrance, and there wasn't a line of people waiting. We were simply standing there waiting to be seated. After she told us a second time, I asked, "Do we have to sit down?" Instead of answering the question or explaining why, she turned around and walked away without saying a word. It was a very odd interaction. I honestly don't know if we somehow made her uncomfortable just by standing there, but that's how it came across. After waiting several more minutes while numerous tables remained empty, my brother and I decided to leave. As we walked out, the hostess said, "You guys have a good day," but the tone came across as sarcastic rather than sincere. If there was a reason for the wait--staffing, server sections, or anything else--a simple explanation would have made perfect sense.
