Bryan has truly helped me in my journey to rebuild my life after a marriage that I have given my all for my entire adult life. He's taught me how to set boundaries, hold strong to my core values and believe in myself with self love. I appreciate Bryan's coaching skills and attentiveness to my emotional state and well being. I truly felt he was there for me through one of the toughest times of my life as an emotional support and cheerleader and I am eternally grateful for that. For anyone stuck in life or going through a tough situation, I would highly recommend Bryan as he is the absolute best I've ever experienced. read more

My husband and I were at a point where we were both somewhat happy, but were dealing with persistent difficult conversations and issues that we felt we needed professional help in navigating. We found Bryan on Google and based on the amazing reviews, decided to reach out to him. Bryan is a phenomenal coach and he took the time to understand both of us, our needs and communication styles in the relationship. His framework, tools and techniques were very action based and they helped us build systems that we can depend on to deal with conflict, and also to be able to show up and be present more consistently for each other. Bryan is a great listener and knew how to steer the conversation in a way that made us understand and empathize with each others perspectives and views. We met weekly for a month with Bryan and within that time, our growth as individuals and as a couple has been tremendous! I would 100% recommend coaching with him to any and everyone. We are so pleased with the results and are in such a wonderful place now; it's amazing! read more

My boyfriend and I had called it quits until we met Bryan, We were fighting all the time and it seemed like my boyfriend couldn't understand me at all and he felt I didn't understand him. When I had told Bryan about what was going on he recommended a 30 day trial period where you and your significant other are not together but not apart either. The 30 day trial was to see if you and your significant other could use the the tools that Bryan provided to help rebuild your relationship. My boyfriend and I went from fighting every day and screaming and yelling at each other and resenting each other to understanding and healthily communicating about how we were feeling. I would 11/10 recommend Bryan to anyone who has any issues that they're having in their relationship that they feel that can't resolve and are at the point of just breaking things off. Thank you Bryan for helping bring my boyfriend and I so much closer together! read more

My wife found Bryan online to help us try to work through some relational struggles. I was skeptical at first, but the more we got to know Bryan the more we understood he had a genuine interest to see if he could help us out and that he did. We greatly appreciate the framework and tools he provides to help us not only in the moment, but for years to come. Highly recommend! read more

When I met Bryan, I was a brash 20-year-old Sophomore at the University of Washington. I had zeal but lacked discipline and direction, which often led to half-finished goals and broken promises. By the time I graduated, these issues became more prevalent and started to affect my job, relationships, physical and mental health. That's when I reached out to Bryan, and after several months of coaching, I started noticing positive changes in my life and so were those around me. What is unique about Bryan is his ability to provide comprehensive counseling and coaching. Whether it was helping me identify my goals and map out practical steps to achieve them or walking with me as I was challenged to reflect on family issues that deeply affected my self-image, Bryan knows how to expertly navigate all walks of life. Fast forward 5 years, I can directly attribute the time spent with Bryan to several promotions at my work, a healthy marriage and friendships, and an ever-growing relationship God. Thank you, Bryan! read more

I tried to hire Bryan for my 18 years old son. He asked to speak to me right away. He wanted to ask my son what has been bothering him. I of course assumed he is setting up 15 min free consultation as they advertised on online. But my son has decided that he wanted to hire woman therapist instead. So he canceled Bryan's appointment. Then he asked me to pay for $120 cancelation fee. According to him he has mentioned to my 18 years old son it was " real appointment " I was the one who was hiring him not my son. I would of appreciate it if he would made an appointment through me. After all my son has a reason why he needs a therapy. I will not recommend at all. They don't care about you. They just want your money. He didn't perform any service. He must be desperate for money to charge depressed 18 years old And his response was he notified me by email... he notified my 18 years old by email. I had no idea what was going on whole time. As I mentioned earlier he is the one who is seeking help. I'm experienced client in this field. I have had many therapist and psychiatrist for my kids. But they all know they have to include parents in scheduling or anything for that matter. I'm the one who is paying the bill. I just never had any experience like this with any other counseling office in my 15 years of experience. He became almost aggressive about getting paid I just can't imagine how the person like that can help you to have peaceful mind. If anything it must be all act!! No one wants therapist who is only acting to be caring. read more

Little did I know that the year I spent receiving counseling and coaching from Bryan would pay off in other areas of my life! As a result of that process, I have gained genuine, lifelong friendships. I also married the girl of my dreams! To this day, my wife and I often talk about how we would not have made it this far without the valuable training and coaching from Bryan. read more

Bryan actively listens and patiently helps me sort through any issues I am facing. He has helped me understand myself better and become more aware of how I interact with others. Most importantly, Bryan has helped me find what I am really passionate about, and what I want to accomplish in my career. Because of Bryan, I have gone so far out of my comfort zone and have done things I never would have done before. This has helped me grow so much both personally and professionally and helped me get opportunities I never would have gotten otherwise. Everything he has told me to do or taught me builds on one another to help me become more successful and see more clearly what I want to be doing. read more

My boyfriend and I went to see Bryan as we were navigating rapid change in our lives - moving across the country, having our first child, etc. We wanted to make sure we were building the right new relationship infrastructure to navigate these changes and maintain a healthy relationship. We were first drawn to Bryan because of his systematic, process-focused approach. He claimed to not do talk therapy but instead to teach a system and process to follow. This sounded like exactly what we were looking for. We worked with Bryan over the course of 3 months and learned his systems. These systems / processes / ways of engaging helped us identify root causes of friction in our relationship and helped us to develop rules of engagement that would reduce/eliminate that friction in the future. To anyone who is considering Bryan, know that Bryan's systems are logical and effective if you commit to adopting them. I would also reiterate that Bryan does as he says, and avoids talk therapy as advertised. We are very happy with what we've learned from our time with Bryan. read more

Where do I begin? I tried counseling once at about age 13 and didn't go back for a second appointment. I felt so much judgement and misunderstood. My very first appointment with Bryan I poured my heart out with the grief I was feeling from losing my dad a year ago. The immediate trust and safety that I felt on day one with meeting Bryan is still unexplainable. My boyfriend and I met with him weekly after to work on our relationship. Therapy was a last resort for us but Thank god we started seeing Bryan. He not only saved our relationship but we came out of it with a great friend. Bryan is truly one of the most amazing people I've ever met. If you are trying to decide if therapy is for you or not.... I say jump. You couldn't be in better hands. Saying thank you is not enough. read more

If there is any thought in your mind that you are in an abusive relationship, stay away from this provider. He is not trained to identify abusers, or perhaps he doesn't care to identify them. In my case, he enabled and goaded my spouse into escalating the violence against me, going so far as to write legal declarations in court vouching for my abusive spouse's good character even after he was arrested and charges were pressed against him. (For the record, the charges held up in court). This is would be professional ethics violation, IF Bryan Staab was actually a member of any professional organization. Anyone can hang up a shingle and claim to be a relationship "coach." Maybe he's fine for relatively innocuous relationship conflicts. But for more serious problems, look for someone with more substantial training. I hope this provider gets the professional development he needs to do better, because he compromised my and my children's safety with his cavalier attitude towards male privilege and entitlement, and even when there were red flags and warning signs and OVERT VIOLENCE AND POLICE CHARGES, he continued to make excuses. read more

Went to couples counseling for almost 8 months. The whole experience was one sided from the start. Ended in a divorce

I don't usually write reviews but in this case, I felt compelled to write about my horrendous experience with Bryan. I reached out to Bryan because of his great reviews. I thought his pay in advance policy for 4 sessions was unusual and the amount excessive (and even more excessive for someone without a license in counseling as we found out later) but my husband and I decided we needed help so we took the plunge and called Bryan. When I had my free initial 15 minute session with Bryan over the phone, I briefly explained to him what was happening and he said that I was being emotionally abused. I asked if he could help us and he suggested that we go to one session and decide whether to sign up for the 4 sessions. We went to that session we basically introduced ourselves and told him why we were there. He said he had a plan that would help us so we decided to sign up for the 4 sessions. Bryan sent a message on how to sign up for the 4 once a week sessions and believe it or not, he gave a 4 day deadline to sign up and pay for all 4 sessions. In one of the sessions, he proceeded to verbally attack me. After the session, I talked with a licensed counselor about my experience and she said that it takes years of counseling education to know how to counsel and this is exactly what counselors are taught NOT to do. When I signed up for the 4 sessions, I understood that it was non-refundable but the experience was unexpected, so hurtful and unprofessional that I asked for the last unused sessions (which I canceled well in advance) to be refunded but did not get a response. We paid him $1,500.00. Bryan has a degree in Business. I should have read the other 1 star review. I don't want others to make the same mistake that we made. read more

Have been seeing Bryan for about 2 months now and there has never been a time when I don't come out learning something new about my partner and myself. There are many layers of my masculinity that'd needed to be patiently peeled of session through session. In all reality I went into these session with my partner knowing they need to happen but with my toxic masculine side was rejecting everything that was being talked about. Through patience and countious efforts from Bryan I am slowing tearing those layers off that were negatively affecting the relationship I have with my partner. Lots of the the things I've learned I've been able to apply in my everyday interactions with other folks read more

My husband and I are stronger together now that we've been working with Bryan at Kairos coaching. Bryan's method makes perfect sense. It is a practical and "hands on" approach - not just talk therapy! In just one month, our marriage has gone from hopeless to hopeful. Even after 23 years of marriage we have ALOT to learn on how to make a marriage work. Make no mistake it is work, but it does pay off. We both are excited to continue his program for another month. Thank you so much Bryan for what you do. read more

I saw Bryan for over a year to help me with communication, personal growth and with the stagnation in my life. I was in a dark place mentally and really scared I was not going to be able to pull myself out of this. Through his guidance, incredibly insightfulness and a real understanding of how our minds can hold on to trauma/issues that we may not be aware of I have done a 180-degree turn. He helped me to become fully aware how I hold myself back and gave me the tools to confront issues in life, personal and professional relationships to resolve these issues with love and grace for myself. I now see the world through a better objective mindset, and I am so grateful that I found his practice. I highly recommend him to help with any issue that you may be going through. Whether that is for personal development, couples coaching or just want to take yourself to a higher level. Bryan will help you through and will not probing till he finds the root of the problem and will have the guidance to help you through. I am forever grateful for his help! read more

I began my time with Bryan feeling really heavy and at one of the hardest times in my life. The person I loved most had just passed away, I was involved in some pretty empty relationships, and I was unsure of how to navigate through life. I felt lost, alone, and like my world had just fell apart. I am forever thankful that I was recommended to Bryan. He is so genuine in his desire to help you grow through whatever it is that you're going through. He really does guide you every step of the way, helping you pinpoint the root of an issue, mapping out a clear plan to achieve your goals, and most importantly checking in on you afterwards. I distinctly remember telling Bryan in our consultation that all I wanted was "to not feel so alone and be less sad." (A great feat, I know) However, not only did I find new and lasting sources of happiness through more wholesome relationships, I'm learning so much about myself in the process. Bryan goes out of his way to not only give you the resources to understand and approach an issue, but works with you to find a comfortable way to implement your new knowledge and build up your skill set. As a coach and mentor, Bryan is inquisitive, detailed, and compassionate. As a person, he is kind, funny, and makes any difficult conversation comfortable and enjoyable. He has such a different and refreshing perspective. I have found so much peace and understanding through my conversations with him; I always end our time feeling lighter and encouraged. If you're reading this review, deciding whether or not you should reach out, I highly recommend that you give him a try. Meeting with him is the best investment I have ever made in myself. Side note: I meet with Bryan via video chat and it is ridiculously convenient. I promise you that it'll work with any schedule. read more

I first started working with Bryan in the fall of 2020 (and continuing this process with him currently). My wife and I were struggling in our relationship and covid compounded the affects of our problems. It would be an understatement to say things were falling apart. We were already in the process of getting a divorce. We started our couple's counseling with Bryan as a last-ditch effort to see if we could salvage our marriage. If I'm honest, I believed the relationship was over and while I hoped otherwise, I didn't see how we could change our current course. Prior to this experience, I had my fair share of skepticism for therapy. Full transparency, at times I can be that stereotypical guy that doesn't like discussing my feelings, sharing emotions, being vulnerable, etc. It has been no easy feat to break these barriers. Bryan has been immensely helpful in overcoming these challenges and I always leave a session with new insights on how to improve further. I read a review discounting Bryan's process/approach because he isn't licensed. While I appreciate the perspective of others, I disagree with these remarks. I don't believe they should carry weight when deciding your personal journey and growth. I've been to "licensed professionals" where I felt our time together was meaningless. In some cases, I felt like a time slot on a clock and a paycheck to be collected. I've never felt this way with Bryan since starting back in 2020. I feel like he's genuinely interested in our journey (individually and as a couple). Bryan is patient and intuitive. He's always been an objective listener and gives non-biased & balanced feedback. Additionally, I feel like he provides great perspective (as it relates to my wife's point of view), while keeping a neutral stance. I'm appreciative of that. He's provided many helpful technique/tools for communication and these methods have helped considerably. My time with Bryan has been personally impactful and I'm grateful. I've experienced a ton of growth and gained meaningful value during our sessions together. My relationship with my wife has improved significantly during this time. Although, the status of our marriage/divorce is still undetermined, there's no denying the progress we've made thus far. I don't assign merit to Bryan, based on the status of our marriage. I'm not attached to the outcome; I'm focused on the growth. He serves as a guide for our journey, but we're accountable for our own path. I speak highly of him, because of his commitment to us and for the support he provides during this process. Without hesitation, I'd recommend Bryan to anyone looking for this type of positive change. read more

Bryan is an amazing guy, let me tell you. My wife and I came to see him towards the end of April and during that time we weren't in a good place together. Seeing him through the course of a month, things greatly improved between my wife and I. He taught us tools that, we didn't really use if at all in our daily lives. Those tools that he taught us, vastly improved our communications as a couple. I can testify to that as can my wife. In today's society, relationships are hard, due to lack of communication and one on one time. It's so easy to forget how to communicate in person vs phone, text,Facebook or any other social media account, and it can be easy to misinterpret tones via txt or messages, or not put emotions to words. Better yet, just listening to your loved one and understanding... Bryan, your a great guy and I appreciate the work that you have done in teaching us. I want to say thank you! read more

Bryan was one of the best options and steps we took in making my relationship stronger and better as well as myself. Things were rocky and a point and it was either be done and quit or choose to get help and understand how to make my relationship improve. At first I thought what am I doing this for it's not helping but then Going to him individually and learning and understanding the steps he gave to us and taking our time to actually practice and do the steps given in helping our relationship helped improve a lot. Couldn't ask for a better therapist then him. He's very good at what he does and if you go to him and do the steps he gives you, you will see the improvement in your relationship as well. read more

We started seeing Bryan when we thought all hope was lost for our relationship. As if a pandemic wasn't hard enough, our communication became non-existent and there was a lot of resentment between us. I really had doubts about therapy but it was our final try before I called it quits.... each week Bryan built us back up and gave us the tools we needed to communicate and understand each other better. Through Bryan we re-built trust, established boundaries and remembered why we wanted to do life together. He showed us that it wasn't a compatibility issue it was actually a simple issue, we didn't know how to communicate effectively. As I'm writing this I can't stress to you enough how great our experience was with Bryan. Our relationship did a 360 and we are closer then ever. I would 10/10 recommend Bryan to everyone, even if you are unsure like I was. If you are willing to put in the work, then he's a miracle worker! Thank you so much Bryan! You are awesome. read more

I've been working with Bryan Staab for couple's counseling and individual counseling for over a few months now. Bryan has brought a significant impact to my relationship and to my mental health in just a short amount of time. My relationship have struggled for more than a year of constant pattern of arguments, pain and a lot of emotional exhaustion. Seeing two different therapist didn't make a lot of difference things never got better and I wanted to give up it felt really hopeless and I know am going to lose the man I love. Until I found Bryan, our first session with him made such a big impact and I know he can help us he gave us so much hope. His a blessing in disguise and best investment I've ever made. Not only he helped - helping us save this relationship but his also helping me overcome and deal with my own past. Am a work in progress but I know that am headed to the right direction with my life to be a better person for myself and to be the best partner I could be in my relationship. Bryan could save and help a lot of individuals out there and I have recommended him already to one of my best friends. His passion to help people and his gift to connect with others is remarkable. Bryan worked with my husband and I for about two months, with in person and remote meetings once a week. My partner and I been together for a decade at this point and have had several re-occuring fights, some of them having started more recently with relatively new changes in our lives, and some of them going back to when we first started dating. Bryan was the first couples counselor we've ever worked with and we both had a lot of nerves about the process. Bryan has a clear process and structure that he works through, and it feels logical, well thought out, and tested. He was very reassuring to work with and we were able to have many vulnerable conversations with him and in front of him. One of my concerns was being able to talk about some of the things that come up as an API woman married to a white man; being able to feel comfortable sharing and trusting that Bryan wouldn't take sides. With Bryan's system and support, we were able to have that conversation successfully for the first time. It feels good to know that we have new skills to love and support each other in our relationship, and also to know we have a resource in Bryan if we ever encounter harder conversations in the future. read more
