We also had them service the AC unit which, knock on wood, has a been a gem and never yet failed us. They not only did the service, they made recommendations on how to maximize the cool air where it was wanted by shutting off the areas where we don't need it! I wish I would have known this was possible 25 years ago! As I freeze in the north side of the house while the hubby sweats in the south side. The heat exchanger had cracks, the cooling coils had mold, and the blower was leaking oil. Well Andy agreed with the oil leak, but there was no mold and the cracks in the heat exchanger were scratches. He diagnosed that all co gas was being expelled thru the flew, but the ppm was excessive and the heater would need replaced.
