I've been curious about patronizing Kailua Crystals on Hekili Street for awhile even as they've been there for awhile. I am a skeptic first but open to possibilities; whether that is belief in god(s) or goddess, or belief in alternative healing/medicine. I've experienced enough events to know that scientific knowledge is always in a state of flux and that the irrational is not to be dismissed. I asked several question as I am in my fourth week of recovery from a ( small ) fracture in my ankle and slight tearing of ligaments from a slip on wet tile. The employee was gracious enough to answer my questions and recommend two types of crystals that may aid my recovery. I chose a Lapis Lazuli bracelet. I joked, if I could wear it on my ankle and that a placebo effect would be sufficient for me. She kept a serious demeanor - she clearly believes in what she is selling. I will update in a few weeks. I have a third orthopedics appointment at the end of January. read more

This is my favorite local crystal store! I buy almost all of my crystals here, and I've also taken two of their classes. I absolutely love their products, and their classes are fantastic. Their crystals are reasonably priced. The energy in the store is always welcoming, and I've learned so much from the experiences they offer. I do wish they offered more metaphysical courses from some of the same teachers--those classes have been so valuable to me. Some of the class times don't work with my work schedule, so it's disappointing to miss out on them, but I still highly recommend this store for all your crystal and metaphysical needs. I had the chance to meet with Laury and we spent some time together. I explained to her what was happening in my office space, but she already knew exactly what was going on and what I needed, based on my energy. I learned quite a bit from my encounter with her and I can't wait to go on this spiritual cleansing/awakening journey. There's sage bundles, sprays, crystals, all kinds of good stuff here. Don't forget to grab the little pieces of paper around the store, so that you know your intentions and exactly what each crystal brings to the table. If you participate in their points program, you get 1 pt for every $35 spent. And also another 1 pt if you sign up for their mailing list. I haven't gotten to the point of redeeming just yet, so I'm not sure on that piece. But l'll definitely be back here! read more

Excited to have Sunday off and decided to head out to Kailua and had a fabulous time at the Farmers Market. Decided to stay and browse around the area and noticed Kailua Crystals across the street and what a beautifully organized shop. Entered and was greeted and that was the end...took a moment to decide as I looked around and when I was ready to check out I head to the register when two employees were talking one was complaining of the long lines and that it's gonna take forever so the other went on a iPad and was trying for something online and was having a difficult time for whatever reason. They both noticed me right behind them as I have my items on the counter and calmly looked and some rings in the counter as I was getting bored waiting for their first world problems ignoring every around them. Then one FINALLY says are you ready? I thought you were looking at the rings!?! Mind you no one says one single word to me until then just making eye contact a few times which I really should've left and not make any purchase because I felt so uncomfortable and can't see this being any positive energy but only a "business" venture. Pot calling the kettle black with customer service is pathetic...no thanks!! read more

Of course, you have to wash your hands before touching any items and worth. I picked up a basket and very transparent. But I had a backpack on that made them nervous and local. I didn't look like some harmless person??? Hmmm, but someone came up on me. I moved towards her and bombarded her questions. She was taken aback and relax. Although she seemed floating or in cloud nine, I'm was on a mission to get shungite and need to focus. I found a pair of different cylinder shungite that has a strong energy when you hold them shoulder width apart. And I grabbed some loose ones which I didn't realize it's $1 per grams...about $50...surprise!!!! It was a well lighted shop which brightens up all the stones. Little girls will go nuts over at the bracelets table, so pretty. It's about the size of Lemuria. You will find them behind Longs on the back street and parking is in the back. The staff is extremely welcoming and pleasant, as well as helpful and knowledgeable. If you know what you're looking for, they'll help you find it. I absolutely love this place, their items and the people. So welcoming & knowledgeable. I love getting auric cleansing here as they do offer this. If you're looking for crystals, manifesting candles, crystal beads and many other spiritual items, THIS IS THE PLACE. Nice crystal pieces at affordable prices. I bought my huge selenite rod here for $15 - other places we're charging $80+. Maybe I just got lucky that day but I buy most of my crystals here. I've visited this shop several times before the lockdown and a few times after it was lifted. I have consistently had great experiences there regardless of the amount of people in the shop, the line to get in or whether or not I was checked on during my shopping experience. It's a beautiful shop with beautiful products and extremely knowledgeable staff. I think a lot of people forget that we're human and everyone has their own "stuff" going on internally on any given day. Unfortunately, people are easily offended when they're not "pampered" to their expectations. And instead of considering compassion or understanding, there seems to be a lot of triggering going on. I appreciate you all at Kailua Crystals. Whether it's busy or slow or if you recommend certain crystals or not, I always enjoy the atmosphere provided because I recognize that my internal state is reflected in my perception of the external world. You all are doing a great job and are sharing beautiful products and beautiful interactions with people who may or may not come back to the shop and that doesn't stop you from genuinely connecting with them. Something changed about this shop. I shopped here before however, I paid a visit a couple days ago and I've been greeted with employees who seemed to give off very arrogant energy and made me feel uncomfortable as I shopped around. An employee loudly said how he feels he intuitively feels negative energy from someone in the shop, unsure who he was talking about because there were many people shopping but it made me feel uncomfortable nonetheless. The only negativity I felt was his mindset. A word of advice would be to touch base with everyone shopping as a great customer services sales rep should and see how they're doing. Feel the energy out of each person, rather than ignoring everyone walking in and announcing judgement openly behind the register. Unfortunately, there is more. The Tarot deck that I have purchased was fake which I'm extremely disappointed with. Please see the pictures along with this review. The deck was said to have gold foil accents but the one I purchased from this shop did not. I also feel that having fake decks to sell is disrespectful to the artist who created the deck. This money is not going towards the artist and the hard work it took for them to create it. It is given to a company who took the art and reprinted it to gain all the profit for something that is not theirs. Which is why I've rated with a definite and automatic 1. Cute little shop my friend introduced me to! I got some crystals mainly for aesthetic and decorative purposes because I personally don't subscribe to crystal healing or the idea that they have mystical properties. Despite this, they are very pretty and captivating for the fact that nature's beauty in and of itself is showcased in the beauty of crystals. So whether you're into it or not, this is still a great place to find a wide selection of precious stones. They have bracelets, jewelry and individual stone pieces for whatever you need them for. Love this store! Went there for the 1st time shortly before the pandemic and ended up getting lost looking at stuff and talking to people for over 90 minutes. Walked out with 2 cool amethyst pieces. Only thing that bugs me is the metaphysical descriptions and all the MATTER-O-FACT statements regarding what the crystals will "do". I am a licensed massage therapist (27 years) and have been practicing energy work since the mid 90's, This is the kind of stuff that makes most people think it's all a bunch of airy, fairy nonsense. There's a way to describe the energies of crystals but saying for example, "It will help you pass that test" is just kinda silly. Not gonna tic off a star because most shops like this do that... Updating my review based on the last few times I've been there. When I first went there last year I dealt directly with the owner and it was during the pandemic. It was great. The three times I've gone into the shop recently have made me decide I won't be back again. First there are way too many people in the store with no social distancing. It's a small shop and not a lot of space but they don't enforce any type of social distancing. Next and the main reason for the review is the employees- not once was I ever greeted or acknowledged until I was at the cash register ready to pay. Employees spend a lot of time talking to each other. No one offered assistance even when you're right in front of them. They are too caught up in their own conversations. I do notice that they pay attention to the tourists and but not the locals- each time I've been there I've been pretty much ignored (I've gotten this feedback from my other local friends too). The employees definitely look at you in a way that gives off a weird vibe- awkward to say the least. When I go to pay, even standing at the counter, you get very minimal from the staff. I stood there awkwardly waiting to be rung up even though there were 2 staff behind the counter talking to 2 other staff on the side of the counter. They just don't seem interested in serving customers and I hate to say this but they come across as snobby. After the first time, I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt but it's been three times and that's enough to show that this is not an isolated incident. Yes they have good prices but at a time when I'm trying to support small local businesses I'd rather take my business somewhere that appreciates it. read more

Great selection of crystals both in its raw form, jewelry and shaped. In addition you'll find some assortment me of oils, incense/sage, tarot and oracle cards. Employees are very friendly and knowledgeable. I appreciated that they offer to clean your items when you purchase. The only thing I didn't like was how unbelievably crowded it was! I was squished shoulder to shoulder with other shoppers and people reaching over each other. It did not make for a pleasant shopping experience. This was my favorite crystal shop. I've purchased many crystals, and my experience had been wonderful. Today, I took my kids and their friends to shop and one of the kids, who also loves the shop, was wondering where the amethyst chair was. I said it was outside but she said, "Oh, I thought they had another one inside." Then, an older lady who worked there jumped in, rather sounding mad (no idea why...), and said, "Uh, no. We don't have two amethyst chairs, that's the only one." I said, "Oh, she just thought you had two," and laughed to lighten the mood, but the lady said, "No! That's. The. Only. One."
