I have been interested in tarot for a long time, but did not know where to start. Then a friend recommended Storm Arcana, I jumped at the opportunity and scheduled a reading! I came to Storm for a general reading and received so much more! They provided me incredible insight, They opened my heart and expanded my understanding of self. The awareness that I received from my readings has given me significant clarification surrounding my next steps, especially regarding my family, personal relationships and career path. I felt that Their observations and Their analysis of my reading were extremely beneficial. They were able to intuitively understand my current emotional state, and most importantly help me to understand what the universe needs from me. I would highly recommend a reading by Storm to anyone who can grasp and acknowledge their individuality. What They can do for you will only mean something if you are ready to dive deeper into the cosmos. read more

I had my first reading with the lovely and talented STORM at Heroic Tarot as a birthday present this past year. I like to use my birthday instead of new years eve as a time to reflect, reevaluate, make resolutions, figure out goals, and choose a direction for the coming year. Which is boring and grown-up and reeks of responsibility, if not for Storm. He makes it fun from the start by using X-MEN TAROT CARDS!! Where else can you have your tarot read based on Wolverine and Gambit?! It's such a special & unique experience, you can't help but relax and open up during your reading. Storm is charming, insightful, perceptive, delightful, and divine! He took his time during our session to carefully explain the cards, allow me to take notes, and answer as many follow-up questions as I needed. I could tell it was important to him that the reading was meaningful for me. He went above and beyond to help me talk through what the cards might mean and how it might relate to my life, past, present, and future. Storm manages the difficult balance of being incredibly professional and having the highest standards of customer service, without feeling stuffy or detached. It was an inspiring, fun, powerful experience that left me in tears more than once! I look forward to going back soon for my follow-up reading. read more

Storm is sweet, caring, and you can tell he absolutely loves his craft. You can tell that he genuinely wants to help. He's a person that has found his life mission and is loving it. That much is clear. I've found that if you go into any type of divination method whether it tarot or intuitive readings, the more you help your reader, the more you'll get out of it. Being skeptical doesn't help anything. I had very specific questions that I wanted answers for. I "thought" I knew what the answer was going to be - but what I ended up with was something different. What he did was remind me of who I really am and guided me from a choice / path that truly isn't right for me. It's only been a few weeks since our reading - and it's still not determined whether the path will completely pan out in the physical sense, but I don't need that to know the outcome in order for me to know that that this was a therapeutic session and I'm thankful for having done it. In the spiritual sense, I feel like I've made a lot of progress. He's the hermit that guided me on a path of patience, gratitude and generosity, which is something easily forgotten in this modern world. Storm is definitely the person that can show you the way - Just go in it with an open heart, and you will gain perspective you may had never known or lost site of. If you don't know anything about tarot, it might be helpful to understand a little bit about it first to set your expectations. read more

I receive Storm emails from time to time and would check out his website for his update! Last night, I received a bulk email. First impression after I read it, he had so much passionate to help others to success their dreams. What a co-incident? I had thought of getting a 2nd reading. Without hesitation, I made an appointment for the next day. Luckily, I was able to schedule one. After 5 years, he is still the same..............a very kind & caring, accurate, gifted teacher/professional tarot reader. During the session, he carefully listened what I said and answered my questions point by point. He gave me some valuable insights and encouraged me to practice his suggestions daily. To Yelp readers: If you are looking for guidances and understanding of your paths, highly recommended to book an appointment with him. It could be your life changing event! read more

What to say, what to say... I visited with Storm yesterday, and it's safe to say that it has recently been a pretty tumultuous time in my life. Accordingly, I went in with ... hmm... a hope, or maybe an expectation, or maybe a combination of both, that he'd be able to provide me with some clarity. Let me put it out there that I only visited him because of some of the Yelp reviews that I saw here, and because my ex had been to see him too. My friends, you did not steer me wrong, and Storm did not disappoint. Storm begins his session with some calm, fun, harmless banter. We broke the ice, spoke pleasantly for a few minutes, and talked about the most friendly of subjects. I mentioned to him how he had come highly recommended, and he was modestly pleased to hear that. Believe me when I say this my fellow yelpers, you will not fine a more easy going, sincere, nice person than Storm. He put me in a place where all of my skepticism and nervousness that existed before were no more. I was ready to begin. The session itself was on the nose at every turn. Life, work, love, family, past, present, future -- all were examined in detail and provided feedback that I could genuinely agree with as being accurate. Moreover, everything Storm did, said, and asked me led me to believe that - not only was he the real deal - but that he actually cares/cared about my emotional well being, my ability to process the information he was giving me, and my strength to tackle the problems we discussed. I therefore feel like it's safe to say that Storm's readings are as validating to the soul as therapy may be. I honestly feel like after my session, I had a better understanding of where I need to focus my concentrations and heart, where I need to heal, and where I also need to let bygones be bygones. I recommend him to any and everyone. Be advised that he does Skype reviews (this may warrant some skepticism from some of you, but my understanding is that there are steps that he takes to prove to you that it's possible, and that it'll be as accurate for you as my in person session was to me). So, consider it. Easy pweasy five stars. read more

I have been going to Storm for years now, coming from a place of skepticism at first; now my boyfriend and mom even go to him! I didn't think it was possible, but through the use of numbers and cards, Storm was able to make such a connection to me, my past, my strengths, and my core that I was fighting back tears! I felt awkward and out of place, crying before a stranger, but with laser-like precision what I needed to work on was singled out. When I left, he gave me homework, which I put off for a bit... but when I stopped ignoring it and starting working on the things we talked about, I've reestablished a connection with myself that I hadn't had since childhood. He's a midwife to inner greatness, and I've made it a point to get at least a yearly check up ever since! His honesty and integrity are what set him apart from the grifting mole-nosed fortune hags lining our streets with their neon-signs. When you make an appointment with him, it's between you and him. There's no spying on your lover, that he flatly rejects, but that gets turned around to why I felt like I needed to spy in the first place... there's no promises of fortune and specialness: what he says is honest, and genuine. Because of his readings, now I made myself free from a toxic relationship from working with his insights. Storm is truly gifted in the art, and I've made such internal progress after years of stagnation. No neon-lights, no telling you what you want to hear, no gypsy curses, no stifling incense or mumbo-jumobi; just a straight-forward human being that I could relate to. Storm, I cannot thank you enough for the years of making me work on myself, and bringing light to places I had given up on! read more

I recently moved to Lower Haight, and while bumping around buying Xmas prezzies slash checking out my new hood I decided to check out Swankety Swank. They had small watercolor paintings of X-Men for sale, and when I heard that what they actually were were gift certificates for an hour-long X-Men tarot card reading, my heart leapt. Perfect jokey present, right? Sure. I decided to try it out, though, because the concept was SO AWESOME it made me giddy. I'm not a tarot-y person. When I was younger I had the requisite "books by Robert Anton Wilson/Subgenious/Crowley/REsearch phase," but I never took it seriously and mainly just liked them because I have paranoid tendencies and a love for cultural footnotes. That's as close to spirituality as I ever came. So believe me when I say that having Storm read my cards was TOTALLY FUCKING MIND-BLOWING. And I'll tell you why: Storm's a goddamn genius. Beyond the fact that he's genuinely intuitive in a way that I literally cannot believe I'm discussing in a public forum (Jean-Grey facing outwards as the 9 of spades led him to say, "You're probably having nightmares about money lately," when in fact I'd woken up the night before at 4 a.m. with investment-based night terrors), Storm has found a way to make a thing I've always filed under witch-y, hippie bullshit accessible to a jaded sociopath like me. Here's the thing. I have NO IDEA what the 2 of Swords means in traditional tarot. It's based on archaic symbolism with various shades of meaning and (usually) poorly drawn images (sorry, Rider-Waite). But I pretty much instinctively know what Jubilee high kicking someone in the face means. Or Iceman doing his thing and looking awesome. Or Magneto looking super-pissed. And not only does Storm draw from the card itself while explaining the tradition meaning thereof, he also has an encyclopedic knowledge of the various X-Men storylines, and he weaves that into the narrative, as well. And then you can pile on Storm's personal mutant abilities (because I'm SO MUCH MORE COMFORTABLE with the concept of someone having mutant powers rather than psychic ones), and whoops! I've got a standing monthly appointment with the man. Cuz you know what? Everyone needs a spiritual guide at some point. I got lucky and found a supertall, totally attractive one who wears makeup and can geek out metaphysically on comic books. Which, I feel, kicks the shit out of an emaciated hairy gnome in a mountain who speaks in riddles. Everyone come drink the Kool-Aid. It's incredible. read more

I don't even know how to start...I'm writing this review just as I've hung up with Storm and I'm still reeling from the experience. First off, I must talk about him though. He is a REALLY nice person and makes you feel so comfortable. Talking to him was like...talking to a close friend that I've always looked to for guidance rather than a complete stranger. He is not afraid to share his own experience which for me, meant a lot and assured me also. As for the reading, I was initially thinking about doing it through e-mail but decided to do it on the phone. Then I thought "okay, I'm only going to do 30mins because I'm sort of awkward and I don't know how it'll go but what if it goes well and I want an hour?" Well I asked Storm and he was so nice about it! I told him it was my first time doing a reading, ever, and he told me a few things that reassured and prepped me for the session and he even said he'll be okay upgrading to an hour at any point in the reading if I wanted to. That response alone made me decide to upgrade to an hour instead of 30mins, which I do not regret whatsoever!!! He even did it on a weekend, labor day, no less. Which I feel bad about but to me, that speaks volumes about a person who is willing to take time out of their weekend for others. He was also really reassuring and nice about it too. Okay now really onto the reading. I want to start out by saying I'm not generally a person that believed in such things but I wanted to give it a try because well...why not and I am stuck in a sort of a rut so maybe this will help provide some insight. So when he first called me, he had already drew some cards and all of them described me and my situation perfectly. I felt super comfortable talking to him about my situation and the advice and personal experience he provided truly helped open my eyes, as cliche as that sounds, but it is completely true, to problems that have been plaguing me for a while now. It made the whole experience feel very personal, in a good way. I have to say after this whole experience, I love Storm (not in that way...:p)! and would definitely do more readings with him again. I cannot emphasize how much better I feel after the whole experience (it's like a boulder being lifted off my body or something). He's supposed to be coming back into the city in October and I look forward to doing an in person reading (maybe I'll be less awkward then)! So in conclusion, if you have problems, questions or anything that you want advice or clarity on: GO TO STORM! You won't regret it, I promise on everything that I love and value (which is a lot). :) Oh actually one last note, he sends a picture of your cards to you too after the session! Once again, awesome person! read more

Well Yelpers, you done me good. Little Miss Out of Towner me was going to be in San Francisco for a week and I just wanted a good tarot reading so I made sure to get on Yelp and do my research. Boy, am I glad I did! And I realize what a good reading may be different from one person to the other but for me a good one is more about guidance than giving me a date, time, place and what I should expect. Storm was warm and sweet and there was just a sense of kindness in him - that he was there to help, if that makes sense. It is definitely enlightening and encouraging. And he gave me such good insight not only on what I can expect but also about myself... it was such a wonderful experience. Really. Treat yourself and go see him! You won't regret it. :) read more

Storm is the real deal. I have worked with Storm through the years. The first time I met him I was newly single and we were looking at the cards for some of the people I was considering dating he was very clear that someone who was perfect for me was coming and that with that person I would have everything I ever wanted and to keep my mind open. I met my husband that night and we have been happily married for 8 years. My husband at the time lived in another country so you definitely need an open mind for that situation and yes he is perfect for me. Over the years when I hit business crossroads I reach out to Storm and he always has been able to guide or help me stay on the path or open me to perspectives I had not considered. The cards don't lie and neither does Storm. He has been pivotal in my life and I highly recommend. read more

I've been meaning to write a review for a long time now, but thought there were so many things I had to say that I would not know how to start. I guess I should start by saying that I've known Storm for over a year now. Back then, I was really looking for a tarot teacher and thought it would be better if I first looked for a reader, got a reading from them, and later figured out if I would have them as a teacher. That's what happened with Storm. I loved my first reading! He is one of the warmest people I know! And guess what? He is now my teacher. Yes! He is a tarot teacher as well! I bet you didn't know that. He is super well-organized, he plans classes and lessons based on your needs and interests. He works FOR and WITH you. I'm still his student and right now I can see we have grown a lot together, I've learnt soooo much from him! And it has always been about the subjects and things that I wanted to learn, read about, or find out. We also found ourselves getting interested in other subjects while reading and studying tarot, and we would actually end up reading about new stuff together and discovering a whole new way of looking at things. That's another great thing about Storm, he will guide you and help you dive into new things, even when they are not that familiar to him. Whenever I tell him I'm getting interested in a new subject, he will look for the perfect book to get started and will read it with me so that we will both learn about it together, making the experience richer in content and perspective. Also, he helps me explore my own intuition and work with it in order to develop my own power. He knows I love writing too, so any of the exercises he suggests are related to creative writing as well as practical essay-like texts. He knows I like art as well, so he would sometimes have me draw or paint something related to any card or subject that inspires me. It's amazing to see how much you can learn about yourself through it! I'm so grateful for having him as my teacher, he is most certainly a wise and loving guide. He is the hermit shedding light on the path for me to find my own true and right way. There are so many more things I would say about my experience with Storm as my teacher... Even though it's been over a year now, I'm still learning and growing! I'm already a tarot reader (and I consider myself a reader), even though I believe one never stops learning, not even as a professional, and it's mainly because of Storm's faith in me, he's always shown it. Having him as my teacher has been a life-changing experience, most definitely. So if any of you is thinking of really getting into cards or any other subject regarding mysticism and exploring your intuition (we all have it), let me tell you Storm is the person you are looking for. ;) read more

I've been participating in readings with Storm for about a year now. A lovely soul with a great smile, the first time I met him I knew I could trust him. I felt calm in his presence and at ease. I had a big decision on my shoulders and really needed some guidance. After my first session, and seeing how true the outcome was, I knew Storm was incredibly gifted and have since been a loyal customer. Since I'm a repeat customer, the cards and spreads change depending on what I'm looking to gain guidance on. He is always dead on with needs and customizes your readings as such. It's personalized and I appreciate that, nothing cookie cutter about anything. He's incredibly caring and easy to talk to, so your fears and inhibitions dissipate. He has an impeccable reputation here in San Francisco, the best in the city. Its no wonder why with his gift and sweet soul, it's the perfect combination. Storm briefly lived in Santa Fee, but that didn't stop me from getting readings from him while he was away. Many would say I could have found someone else here in SF, but I trust Storm and couldn't imagine going to anyone else. He is now BACK in San Francisco (YAY!) and I can't stress how much the insights I've received are incredibly helpful and powerful. I highly recommend Storm to anyone, anywhere. read more

I participated in a reading with Storm in July of 2011 when he was first visiting NM. Storm has such a wonderfully calming and charming presence that you cannot help but feel you are about to embark on some magical fun with a trusted ally. I opted for his awesome X-Men tarot deck when the regular cards needed some more clarity about my questions. Storm is so creative and caring as he interprets the cards and what they mean for your life. He is very open and easy to talk with as he goes through the reading. After my reading he provided me with a digital version of my reading so I could review it on my own. Schedule a reading with Storm to gain some insights into whatever is on your mind or just for fun! read more

Storm is an incredible teacher and reader. My first experience with Storm was during one of his wonderful Tarot classes. (Interested in Tarot? Start here!) As most people, I was a little nervous learning something new but Storm set me at ease right away encouraging me to explore the cards and the answers within. I've dabbled with tarot for years but learned more in those 3 hours then I had from the multitude of books and hours of messing with decks on my own. I was so excited after the class that I booked a reading for myself. The reading was enlightening, thorough and extremely helpful. He also followed up with an email with links and insights. So happy to have found Storm! read more

If you want a personalized, thoughtful, creative tarot reading this is the reading for you. STORM gave my husband and I a couple's reading a few weeks ago and I can NOT rave about it enough. The cards STORM uses are unique, making your experience that much more meaningful. The reading included symbolism from the elements of the earth, the hierarchy of the court, the characters of X-Men (!), and the more traditional arcana. STORM takes you on a journey, guiding you through your questions and challenges. The reading was an all encompassing, completely professional, and extremely special reading. I highly recommend it. read more

My boyfriend frequents swankety swank because of its great artistic one-of-a-kind pieces and he took me there one weekend to check out the store. Although i fell in love with a pair of fantastic feather earrings, what i really took away from the visit was excitement to come back and see Storm. Storm has such a warm and open demeanor and he is easy to connect to and feel at home with. We decided to be adventurous on a Friday night and get a couples reading with him for fun. To be honest, i was nervous and worried but after he sat us down and began to explain things to us, I was instantly calmed and at ease with the whole situation. We had no idea what questions to ask or what information we wanted to know but Storm had fun with us and gave us some really great jumping off points to get the reading started. We left our reading energized, enlightened, completely understood and ready for another visit to the Heroic Tarot!! I had no idea what to expect or what to get out of it, but I'm fascinated and impressed by Storms talent. He is insightful, deeply passionate, knowledgeable, and a real seer of souls. It was such a memorable experience and I highly recommend Storm to both avid tarot customers and newbies like us. We had a great time!!! read more

Storm is an incredible guide. I approached him with my mind and heart full of confusion, completely lost on what to do. He showed me what I encompassed and what influenced me. Completely right about it. Through the whole reading, he allowed me to take notes and he took images of my reading which right away he sent to me via e-mail, so I could review whenever I needed. I wanted some guidance as to which path to choose relating my living situation, and he allowed me to draw cards to know what would happen if I chose one or the other. It was of so much help. I chose my path based on my reading and must say I don't regret it. Easy hasn't been, but I feel that thanks to the cards, I have chosen the path of truth. Five months have passed since my reading and am ready to go for a second one, as life keeps unfolding and providing me various paths. I look forward to more guidance from Storm and his cards. We heart Storm. We engaged him to come to our company Open House after reading his reviews on Yelp. Everything was organized via email without difficulty. I hired Storm for a corporate event I was organizing and he did an amazing job! He was professional, on time and very entertaining. I also had a private reading at the store beforehand to get a feel for him and his method and felt very welcomed and at ease. Let me first say that I'm not into the tarot/future-telling/soothsaying scene. I don't normally buy into it. I don't consider myself especially spiritual. I've had tarot readings before, but they were always quick experiences, over before I could get into any kind of receptive mindset, and easily dismissed. They'd all left me with a sour taste in my mouth. But I love comics. I heard STORM was doing readings with an X-Men deck, and I knew I was in for at least one more reading. I mean, what an idea! It was brilliant. Boy, was I in for a treat. Where other 'readers' had rushed me in and out of their sessions, STORM was genuinely into the process and I could tell I was getting a personal experience. He spoke to me on a very deep level, using his abilities with the deck, and his uncanny (get it?) knowledge of all things X-Men. It was almost more introspective than I had anticipated and challenged me from directions I had ignored before. STORM was professional and honest. Perfect for a die-hard X-Men fan or your aunt who doesn't know anything about the Marvel Universe. You'll walk out the door with a new perspective. Highly recommended! read more

I just had my reading earlier today. It was a very nice and pleasant experience! Mr. "Magickal" Storm Arcana was very easy going and upbeat. I had no problems with him during our session. I was also surprised to hear that he's based here in Hawaii. So am I. For me I was looking for what career path should I take. What he told me was where I should focus my energy on and he also told me what career path was giving out the most positive energy. This gave me more clarity and what direction I need to move into. He did mention 2 other career paths that I brought up earlier. One of them was giving out pretty good energy, but not as much as my primary career path. Then my last career path was giving out more of a neutral energy. Nothing bad and nothing strong. So he advised me that I should focus on my first 2 career paths. Now that last career path is not something that is dead, but something that is just not giving off a lot of positive energy at this time. He advised me that if I wanted to I can make an appointment and set aside some time maybe just once a week to work on my last career path if I so choose to. I don't necessarily have to drop it, but I should focus more on career paths 1 & 2. All in all I was satisfied! Mr. Magickal was great! read more

This was my first Tarot Card reading and I am so very grateful that I chose Storm to do it. He is a lovely soul who gave me an enormous amount of insight on who I am and where I am going. I will be making regular visits to this wonderful man from now on. What an incredible gift he is; absolutely love him! read more

I did my homework on Yelp when looking for a Tarot reader in San Francisco. We were spending a couple of weeks visiting and thought it would be fun to have a reading. Yelp had nothing but stellar reviews on Heroic Tarot and so we made our appointments and looked forward to the event. Storm is an absolutely charming person and we enjoyed meeting him, HOWEVER, as far as the reading went either he is so far superior from anyone else we have ever seen (and this is not our first time at the rodeo) that it was just beyond our grasp to appreciate his reading or we had just paid a lot of $$$ for a very dissappointing experience...at the end of the session, I had no idea what it was he was trying to "read" and one look at my friend after her session and I knew she was just as dissappointed and baffled. I am being very honest and I don't want to be unkind to Storm because he really came across as a very sweet person but we paid what I consider to be lot of money for a session that was done in a very public setting ( in a restaurant) with people sitting close by, it was difficult to hear and it was just not very insightful. read more

For my birthday that I celebrated in SF, my boo Star got me an X-men tarot card reading by none other than the fabulous Storm! Being an X-men fan I have to say this was by far one of the best presents I have ever received! First of all, it was the most thorough and accurate tarot reading I have experienced, no joke (aside from the non-English speaking lady in Puerto Vallarta ten years ago that freaked me out)! I also pulled a Triple Jean Grey goddess which Storm said was the first time that had ever occurred! DAS RIGHT BAYBEE! If you are in San Francisco, I highly recommending getting your cards read by him! read more

I've crossed paths with Storm many times since their beginnings in SF over a decade ago, and I've always left our previous encounters thinking "I don't think I'm ready." (They were chance encounters.) Last year, with lots of things shifting in my life, I knew exactly who to reach out to for clarity and saw that they were offering virtual consultations. Their guidance and recommendations were so spot on and fulfilling that I booked a follow up session for my birthday, and THAT session rocked my world and empowered me so much. If you are looking for a guide who can give clear, actionable readings, then Storm is for you. I will forever remember them for their sessions because each session helped me understand and focus on something in my life, and each session's guides proved accurate. Storm is kind and thorough, and has an overall good vibe. They curate a safe space to grow and reflect and move forward. They are incredible. read more

my girlfriend, jesse, and i were having an OYSTER DAY and oyster day means doing things we wouldn't normally do on another day (like buying that giant, pimpin' hat; getting an anchor tattoo on your wrist; eating spicy ass thai foo--wait, i would normally do that--and getting our cards read. so we asked around, researched online for a tarot reader and found storm. following our massive day of oysters, we landed at storm's took a swig of bulleit and ginger from my aluminum bike canister and headed into a shop...a clothing and tchotchke shop with wares built from local artisans...storm closed up for the day and jesse and i plopped our oyster butts down for a reading. jesse went first then it was my turn. storm had like 3 different decks on the table AND a sack of runes to choose from. he explained that i should pick what i feel most drawn to then added that what he is known for is reading cards from an x-men deck (which apparently jess dissed). i was more than crazy stoked. i love x-men and the idea of merging a pop-literary analysis with tarot was like...fucking brilliant. so storm read my cards and i tell you what...i was blown away with what came up that EXACTLY dealt with where i am at now AND the path that the cards were laying out for me to view. storm was in-depth, kind (he got teary when reading) and a total gent. we were more than pleased with our experience with storm and i can't wait to get another reading from him when i'm back in SF. It's Halloween. I fancied the idea of spending the afternoon with a Tarot Card reader for a little thrill, to possibly be chilled by cryptic messages sent from the Beyond, so to speak. My vague, preconceived notions of a Tarot Card reading - a person garbed in many layers of exotic clothing, sprinkled with a rich tapestry of obscure trinkets, speaking in a low, half-whispered, enigmatic voice to suggest that there's something more to what (s)he's saying in a darkly-lit, almost dungeon-like ambiance - were slapped senseless as soon as I walked into Storm's shop. The reading took place in a furniture/accessories store in Lower Haight. We were greeted by a shrill and friendly "Hi" emanating from a nomal, well, normal enough, looking man who was rearranging furniture for our session. Storm sat us down and proceeded to tell us how the couples reading would proceed. He made it very clear that all he was attempting to do was provide a empathic, storytelling experience. I appreciated this frankness. The reading itself lasted 90 minutes. Being the skeptic that I am, I was on guard at first, meaning that anything that came out of Storm's mouth was processed through a mental machina that labeled everything as either "That feels about right" or "That's BS". Despite this, Storm's friendliness made me actually start listening to him in a holistic manner, and I was thoroughly entertained at the stuff I found about ourselves. He first did individual readings. We pulled many cards at random and he wove little stories about each. Eventually, he tied together our individual personas and told how we work together and what we could do to improve our relationship. If I make it sound like he's some kind of therapist, I will say that I was a bit shocked at how accurate he was about certain things. I highly recommend visiting Storm. read more

I am completely blown away by Storm's reading. Storm is very nice, emphatic, non judgmental and very intuitive. He is able to articulate the meaning of each Tarot card with the context of the individual's situation. He was on time, he did not rush the reading and he simply followed the path of each card to explain me past and future. I LOVED it when he told me he does not read cards reversed. I am in total agreement with that. There is enough to say about each card (yin and yang) without having to add the complexity of trying to interpret them reversed. Thank you again. The reading was ***** AWESOME ***** BEST TAROT READER IN SAN FRANCISCO read more

I had a reading with storm in december 2011 just for fun and to see what it would be like and see if i could learn something. Storm had really good reviews and everyone liked him. He has good insight and is a very nice person who wants to help you. Pretty much the cards and things he told me were accurate and he has good advice about living life in general. I would like to go again :-) 5 stars! read more

I recently hired STORM to come to a private party in my home. I had about a dozen guests and decided that having a tarot card reader would be something fun and different for my guests. That was a good move :) STORM was a huge hit at my party. He arrived, as planned, dressed appropriately and a little earlier than the party start time. He immediately got settled and then greeted guests with me at the door. The feedback I received from my guests was overwhelmingly positive. STORM was warm, very charming, and provided insightful readings for all. For my apprehensive friends who hadn't had a tarot card reading before: total hit! He stayed a little later than planned because some readings took a little longer, but this was not an issue and I certainly appreciated him doing this. I would not hesitate to recommend STORM and I will certainly have him back again! He is an exceptionally talented card reader. read more

The absolute best experience I ever had! Had an appointment with him on vacation, and I am now excited to start 2015. certain doubts I had, he reassured me about and equipped me with enough knowledge to help myself grow as a person. I will forever appreciate everything Storm has done for me that visit. Looking forward to a FaceTime reading with him in the New Year. :) read more

I have spoken to Storm twice, once in person and then over the phone. Everytime it has been an AMAZING reading! He is an extremely nice and caring person, and I feel like he knew me right from the start. I didn't feel uncomfortable, and he explained everything in detail. Pretty much everything he said was completelely accurate, and he is someone I will definitely call on again! read more

I'm visiting my girlfriend in San Francisco for the summer, and had the strange desire to visit a fortune teller/psychic/whatever just for kicks. Didn't really expect much of it, but turned to yelp to help me find the most psychic-est psychic out there, if one exists. We're both skeptics and approached this as something to do for fun. Saw Heroic Tarot and Storm and XMEN CARDS and I was sold. Unfortunately, he was in New Mexico, but we (err, more like "I") were so intent on getting our cards read using x-men characters before I left next week that we did a phone session, it wasn't a big deal and he said he'd send a picture of our spread afterwards. Though it would have been cooler to do it in person, so it didn't feel like I was calling 1-900-MISS CLEO (just a joke...,) we enjoyed the experience. Storm is a very nice, thoughtful gentleman and seems to be fairly intuitive and experienced with tarot cards. I say that as someone who has had zero experience with tarot cards or tarot card readers in the past, but it seemed like he had a rich storage of background knowledge and experience to draw from as he was making his readings. Some declarations made me think long and harder about what it meant to me, and there were some things that he remarked about me seemed to be very personal and to bring it up was almost uncanny (not a coincidence that I would use that word.) I didn't consent to going through with his readings on my relationship, but kind of wish I did now, because he seemed to have a lot left to say when my time ran up. Overall, a fun experience with a very nice guy. We caught him in the middle of the desert in New Mexico, and even if we don't believe in this sort of thing, the fact that he can help bring some issues to fruition and help us think through things is worthwhile enough, 'psychic' or not. Can't wait to see the X-Men tarot card spread! read more

This is pretty much one of the best and most amazing experiences you can have. You walk into one of the nicest cutest boutiques in the city and a nice man offers you tea or water and then gives you some tools to use on your life path. While obviously you have to go for an X-men reading, sometimes Storm will use some of his other divination tools to help guide you as well which is not only super helpful but super generous. Sitting there, even though I know he couldn't tell (I'm a bit reserved), I was thinking I want this guy to be my best friend. He and his guides are amazing. This will probably be the most personal and intimate and sincere readings you will ever get so don't pass it up. I''ll be more detailed now if you care to read: Just like anyone will probably tell you his attunement and his guides have it going on. My reading hit on all of the hot spots and hard spots in my life and did give me a clear idea of things to do to live the life path that I want. There was this serious Rogue - Gambit moment in my reading that made me want to cry and pee my pants at the same time. Except for Bishop and Storm, and as my final card Jubilee. My cards were repetetive characters which means the same numbers in the minor arcana and I had a lot of cross sections that were equal to either ten or an even number and ten is a completion and usually even number are resting places except for the fours - which I pulled out first thing which was completely accurate as well. I pulled the four of cups which is a sign of needing a change or reevaluation of things but also of holsing onesself back. Picture it like this - when you have the three of cups you have a trinity of good things that each cup represents (I akin this to the rule or threes or even teh holy trinity), but when you get to the four of cups there is this extra element and it doesn't fit in with the rest of what's going on, it's a need or a want that exceeds the goodness of the three of cups and the person wants that fourth cup so badly but also doesnt know how to attain it. And sometimes its kind of like wanting more than you need. In some decks a person is reaching out for the cup and in some decks a figure can't see the cup. It this unknown and contemplation that has to occur to be able to realize that intangible want but also realize the three of cups and what they've already offered. In the X-men deck this is represented by Rogue being frustrated and in a pose that was showing that the direction of her attack hadn't been determined yet, this still so shows the energy of that card. And the energy of who I was and what was going on with me the moment I sat down with Storm. It's Eery. The fact that I had repetetive characters told Storm that I'm ina place in my life of transition but also a lot of work. The cards repeatedly told me numerically where I was, and repeatedly reinforced it and through the suits told me what I needed to. Repeats of three, fours, and sixes which tells me I'm very much in the middle of a process with the question that I posed to the cards, and as time passes I feel that's true. The characters also mostly had close links to each other that everything I do in this matter will be connected to my ultimate goal so each move I make is important. It was insane how good a reading this was. And as time passes how more and more true it becomes. He also pulled out a couple of other tools to help me on my way which I've also been using, and I want to thank him very much for htat. This man is amazing, he's gifted, he's kind. And I don't know how but I have a feeling that with each person he sits with he connects with exactly how to communicate with them. This hit me at a point where he was talking about havign conviction about things and it's like if you can tap into your kundalini energy and have it connect with the earth. Some people don't know that kundalini energy is energy held within the spine that is extremely powerful and some believe leads to enlightenment when fully released or full flexibility of the spine is achieved. Kundalini was a concept I was introduced to at 12 when I bought a lot of workout dvd's on ebay and ended up getting a ravi singh dvd and I wanted to learn more about it in a less superficial way. To think about having conviction in that way, like the spine or snake - to be rigid, but flexible, to be strong and to carry the weight of everything around you seemingly with ease was exactly what I needed. The perfect analogy for ME. I will repeat this: He and his guides are amazing. This will probably be the most personal and intimate and sincere readings you will ever get so don't pass it up. read more
